Bergstation Marguns in Celerina/Schlarigna

Hair in my food. Not one or two. Couldn't finish it because there were so many in it at the end.

Buffet and selection extraordinary. Salads very fresh and crunchy. Excellent Checkout lady short and without charm, like in the Coop. A pity. Prices that suit St. Moritz. Fr. 70.00 for 2x barley soup, 2x mixed salad and 1 bottle of mineral is very high.

Sensational service with the best food. Thank you for this great evening. Great location with a dignified ambience.

Self service restaurant. Food good level. For the same price you can easily go to a full-service restaurant in the ski area.

A very sad example of mountain gastronomy: more expensive than in the full-service restaurant at the top, dingy tables and canteen food. It's better to stay away. At least the service was somewhat friendly.

For a self-service restaurant, the ambience has become very nice after the renovation. There is even plant-based milk and the cappuccino with it is very tasty. In the self-service there is only salad, vegetable plate and fries as a vegan option, unfortunately not even declared! In the served part there is a fine pasta dish upon request, but that is not declared either.

Everything was great and located right on the slopes. The gondola lift from Cellerina takes you directly to the restaurant.

Beautiful sun terrace, very friendly service, wonderful food. Highly recommended. With prices in the Corviglia ski area ranging from CHF 7.30 to CHF 10.50 for a bottle of sour cider, you get the cheapest one here.

Nice restaurant with lots of wood. Clean. Eggs for the mayonnaise come from free-range farming, despite our own “house mix”. Even the mayonnaise that Lidl has is at least free-range. Profit trumps animal welfare here. The portion of fries is also very small.

Always very busy, this year they are particularly slow in service. For me there are many things that could be improved.

Nice restaurant on the slope... Close the Marguns you have 4 ski lifts... You can seat inside and outside... Especially is nice when it's sunny and seat on big terrace and put cream on face, eat and enjoy... I was there few times and sometimes eat, sometimes only buy drink... Price is normal for St Moritz, some people said it's little expensive, but you come to St Moritz and you are on the slope and you can always change place... One thing that I change is toilet because you must go downstairs... People who work there is so kind and helpful... All recommendations for visit and buy something to eat or drink if you are in St Moritz...

More route markings are needed to ensure skier safety and enjoyment; the trails are labeled and marked for ideal weather conditions, which is not good. In any case, the trails should be marked for the average condition of some snow and cloudy weather. Some good examples of well/friendly marked trails are Whistler, Squaw Valley, Stowe.

Located right on the slopes, with several chairlifts next door. Rather large and chaotic. For those who love self-service even at high altitudes you can find it here and you can have a complete lunch. Courteous and helpful staff. Everywhere Italian is spoken as well as German and English. Near bar area with music outside. Prices normal considering that we are in St.Moritz. Not characteristic but certainly touristy.

Percentage of stars in this rating equals the percentage of how much your cup is filled when ordering milk. It's like half empty (see photo) - really feeling scammed.

Friendly staff, service was fast,food was not good, I ordered the burger, it was smaller than the bread bun... 26chf for a meatball....if your going to charge high prices,at least give the customer value for money.....

Everything is beautiful and wonderful, everyone is friendly and accommodating. Cafe and cappuccino price ok.. but the cake for 7.80 CHF is definitely too EXPENSIVE for the quantity (unfortunately dry) (sorry, but the truth) See you again anyway, but will bring my own cake 🍰😜

Very spacious, clean and friendly staff, food is okay and wide variety of drinks. Of course it’s extremely over priced because you are in Sankt Moritz and middle of the ski resort so it’s not a surprise! There are outdoor and indoor tables. Very warm and modern atmosphere.

With the pasta with salmon (daily special) you could only guess the salmon, the latte macchiato is fine. It's a shame - before the renovation, the restaurant was recommended.

The quality is right. But the prices are completely overpriced and cheeky. E.g. 2 bled Wienerli 8.- 👎

Marguns above is a very beautiful place with a great winter atmosphere and a beautiful view. Accessible even for non-skiers with the fantastic gondola lift. Unfortunately, the staff in the restaurant is mostly unfriendly. If you don't know Italian you're at a loss here, nobody speaks German here. Luckily, meat dishes are affordable, but the rest of the food and drinks are outrageously expensive, not to mention dessert.

Worst mountain restaurant ever. 8.50 for a mini portion of pomfrit, 18.50 for a veal sausage (very small) with onion sauce without any side dish. Fries were sloppy and cold, bratwurst with sauce was really bad and bland. Everything is self-service.

Has been completely modernized, burgers/sausages are now offered at the “street food” station, including corresponding designs at the self-service counter, but the food tastes just like it used to. It's a good place to go at lunchtime if you're in a hurry

Nice canteen Especially during the ski season, the restaurant is always very busy and it gets very hectic as all the ski classes storm the restaurant at 11:50. The food is appropriate and the price-performance ratio is okay. After the renovation, it looks very nice from the outside There is also a playground next door, which offers a lot. The restaurant can also be easily reached by train from Celerina. Edit: The restaurant has changed completely and the price-performance ratio from the counter is lousy. I recommend that everyone, especially in winter when there is a huge rush in the restaurant, get something like a salad or something under the heat lamp because that's what they usually have there best and you'll get full after all you pay over 20 CHF for a meat patty, two buns and a slice of cucumber and a slice of tomato and a few fries which isn't worth it. With pre-cooked things like a pasta casserole, you get a real portion for less money.

"we don't have time to serve you"

The head nurse has never learned manners, they make us wait standing and in the meantime people pass in front of us. When we politely ask to be allowed to sit down since we have been waiting standing for 10 minutes, the lady begins to raise her voice, saying that there is self-service and showing great rudeness by starting to babble in front of everyone. Inadmissible attitude, let's hope he at least learns how to relate to customers.

On January 6th, 2022 we wanted lunch at 2 p.m. The staff in the kitchen is completely overwhelmed, what chaos. Very long waiting time for an inedible meal... Burger still raw, bread bathed in fat, taste zero! I didn't know that gastronomy could be so bad! Not to mention the prices! 22.90 CHF for this burger! (See photos). Such a beautiful restaurant is so poorly managed! Incomprehensible! Every chip shop is better thought out and organized…

Sin. After the renovation it made a big leap downwards, but not the prices which have become truly exaggerated: a plate of pasta with tomato sauce costs almost 20.- so they didn't think of giving families with children a chance. Chaos trying to figure out which queue to queue for which dish. In the end, to pay for a coffee you have to queue at the cashier and drink it cold. It's really a shame, before also due to the high quality of the food it was our favourite. Now shrunken hamburger buns, heavy and indigestible barley soup.... goodbye to good grilled chicken, goodbye to rösti and goodbye to the plate lids that allowed you to eat hot food after queuing at the checkout. Furthermore, there are no longer shelves on the wall to put gloves and helmets on so you have to do a balancing act to fit everything on the table with the trays. When I said that the pasta was overcooked the chef told me that we are in Switzerland. What is certain is that now they can work less and earn more. Long live the Engadine 😭

Here we drank the most expensive rosé of our lives! 1 dl Whispering Angel 10.60 per dl. When we asked if that could be the case, we were simply told that it was just entered into the computer. I learned to always ask for the wine list first.

The restaurant is not a gem even after the renovation. At least until before the renovation, the food was mediocre «canteen food». The range is wide, so everyone will find something for themselves. Often relatively full at prime time, as it is relatively centrally located at the mountain station of the gondola lift from Celerina.

Der Umbau hat sich gelohnt. Sehr schönes, helles und freundliches Restaurant mit einer phantastischen Terrasse. Das Essen schmeckt lecker und die Bedienung ist freundlich. Die Anlaufschwierigkeiten der Saisoneröffnung wird sicher bald Vergangenheit sein. Kommen gerne wieder.

Overpriced and not value for money

I wanted to ask how much a plate of rösti costs and how much a plate of rösti and bradwust costs

BEWARE!! We were robbed today in this restaurant, very professionally, all our cash gone from the wallet which was in a zipped pocket of the ski jacket, which was...hanging on a chair and we were not paying attention. We noticed right after leaving the place, but when we went back to ask the staff for help one of the workers became aggressive and shouted at us "Get out of this restaurant". They refused to call the management and said it was useless to call the police. We strongly suspect a few of the staff is behind this event.

The facilities and offerings are good. The staff friendly. However, it still has some of the “charm” of a large canteen. I'm excited to see what it will look like after the upcoming renovation.

1l Cola for 11Fr... works! You have to wait a long time in a small space, prices are EXTREMELY expensive. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Extremely expensive and small portions for the price

Schönes Restaurant mit leckerer Pizza. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für die ortsüblichen Verhältnisse sehr korrekt. Deswegen ist dort um die Mittagszeit viel los und eine Reservierung erforderlich. Service ist entsprechend beschäftigt, aber trotzdem freundlich. Wir kommen wieder!

Dopo una intensa mattinata di sci, la sosta al Chadafö diventa una necessità. Servizio top, piatti semplici ma sempre all’altezza. Pizza bufalina un classico...Non posso che ringraziare!

The self-service restaurant has a varied salad and dessert buffet. The rest of the offering is rather standard and expensive.

Very beautiful and picturesque, especially in summer. By the way, where is it not gorgeous, in the area? It is less crowded than the other stations around St. Moritz because it is a little more isolated.

Waren zu dritt beim Mittagessen. Lokal zum Bersten voll. Reservation um 13:30 ging vergessen. Mussten an einem überfüllten Tisch essen. Bedienung war völlig überfordert. Pizza war nur halb gebacken. Dafür war Rechnung beim ersten Zahlungsversuch 50% zu hoch beim zweiten Mal 30% zu hoch. Dort kann man während der Saison nicht hingehen!

Good as a place with kids. Practical and spacious. Lacks any charm however.

Graubünden barley soup, bratwurst with fries good, price ok.

For the price you can definitely expect more. The Rösti is too greasy and tastes like nothing, the quality of the burger is still below the level of McDonalds.

Burger tastes like cardboard, open kitchen is rather counterproductive here, everything is ready-made (patty, bun, fries), clearly overpriced and bad.

The Sternbar is a must for apres-ski. The bartenders know how to party.

Good butchers. However, very small portions (slaughter platter is more of a slaughter platter and I'm used to blood sausages being much larger). Therefore the price/performance ratio is not optimal. But a nice playground, super nice service and live music. Conclusion: Gladly again, but because of the prices being too high (or the sausages being too small) “only” three stars.

Jedes Mal wenn wir Skifahren gehen, gehen wir in die Chadafö essen...Gute Pizzas und auch gutbürgerliches essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Weine am Glas fehlen ein wenig...ich empfehle sehr herzlich dieses Ort. Ah….die Vorhänge gegen der Sonne sollten gewechselt werden, damit es heller bleibt...bzw.

Sono qui mentre scrivo... al ristorante Chadafo’ a Marguns!! Come sempre abbiamo gustato in un posto molto carino che sorge in mezzo alle piste con anfiteatro montagne spettacolari.. una squisita pizza, un calzone unico, cotoletta buonissima .. rosti fantastici e tiramisù paradisiaco

The quality of the dishes is normal, but there is a lot of variety, order and cleanliness reigns in the kitchen, very crowded during the Christmas holidays and on weekends.

There is only one word...gorgeous!

Sono ormai anni che, quando scio al Marguns, vado al Cha da Fo’, e mi trovo sempre molto bene. Il personale, tutto italiano, in prevalenza valtellinese, è estremamente gentile, cortese, preparato e professionale. Il cibo, benché carissimo come in tutta l’Engadina, è ottimo. Il pizzaiolo è italiano, difficile da trovare in Italia! Una sorpresa non bellissima ci aspettava però quest’anno. Stanno provando a nobilitarsi, offrendo gli stessi piatti di prima ma con una presentazione chicchettosa. Quando si scia, si ha fame! Il bratwurst con le patatine va servito come negli anni passati, completo e abbondante! Così come gli spaghetti: se volessimo la nouvelle cousine andremmo da un’altra parte, e sicuramente non la si gradisce mentre si scia!!

Service war sehr freundlich, Terasse ist sehr gemütlich. Portionen sind aber sehr klein und das Essen in Ordnung aber für das was es ist viel zu teuer, lieblos.

Terrasse gut besucht am Nachmittag, Bedienung mässig aufmerksam. Hausgemachte Drinks im Angebot, Kaffee war ausgezeichnet, Kellner ohne grosse Gastfreundschaft. Durchschnitt, kein Muss.

Tischreservation um 13.30 h. Herzlicher Empfang. Haben wunderbares Schweinsfillet mit perfekten Nudeln und noch besserer Senfsauce gespiesen. Kosten ca. Fr. 180.-, mit Wein und Desser. Als uns die nicht so motivierte Servicekraft beim Zahlungsversuch anfaucht "... oh Mensch, das hätten sie mir früher sagen können..." (Frage nach Halbierung der Rechnung), fällt der anfängliche gute Eindruck ins Bodenlose. Bei der Preisklasse ist das nicht das, was ich als Gast hören will...!

Posizione comoda direttamente sulla pista del Marguns.Solo la Stüvetta è a là carte mentre il resto del ristorante è un self-service.Noi siamo andati alla Stüvetta un po' rumoroso ma niente di che.La cucina buonissima e il personale molto cordiale, posto rustico.Consiglio i taglierini con ragù di cervo. Prezzi nella media di St. Moritz, bisogna riservare altrimenti non si trova posto.

Sono cliente da più di trent'anni. Ottima cucina , con servizio accurato.Ampia offerta di cibo, dalla pizza , alla carne , al pesce.Prezzi giusti per il luogo che non è affatto a buon mercato.
