BG Café in Genève

Talented chef, delicious, high quality, creative plat du jour. Service, on the other hand, needs to be improved in Geneva. It's a pity.

Always so nice to come here for a coffee break. The staff is very polite, professional and pleasant! To come if you want to have lunch or tea time in peace and with a beautiful view of Place du Molard.

A few weeks ago we ate a red tuna ceviche... divine! on the other hand yesterday we had their "famous" club sandwich". what a disappointment, everything was very cold (taken out of the fridge at the last moment) even the toast had to be toasted well before serving it and refrigerated - so no taste at all tasting, damage, damage,

Everything was going well until a very haughty waiter re-educated me on how to place my cutlery when my meal was finished. Quite ashamed knowing that they were not full and that we had waited to take our order. Well, just shameful in the end. Result: 50 chf for a fish, a drink + an education lesson. So shocked by this remark that I couldn't respond. I would no longer bring my clients there.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the BG Cafe on 4th floor of Bon Génie shop in Geneva. We had breakfast there and all pastries were delicious. Orange juice was fresh. Price is really decent for this very good quality. Recommended also for lunch downtown (previously tested).

Nice location, nice menus with a lot of choices, good service. I often go there for business and casual lunches. The daily suggestion is not expensive for Geneva. The only issue is that when you try BG café you are tempted to go there every week 😅

I am passing through Geneva and discovered the BG Café with a very warm welcome from very professional staff. Really not disappointed with the establishment service recommended.

Very slow service and not obliging staff Waited over half an hour for drinks which were forgotten ,I was ignored by one member of staff when asked for help who carried on clearing up and serving others totally ignoring my request . Never again

Absolutely loved this place, the food is phenomenal! Amazing service and the waiter was very smiley. The seabass was definitely one of the best I've tried! We can definitely say we'll be back very soon!

Always a pleasure to go there, the menu is changed every week and the cuisine is just perfect. Special mention for the banana tartlet, a treat.

Popular place at the lovely part of town,after a walk and shoping ture here you can have tasty food,friendly stuff, it is cozy place with exelente atmosfere.😊

The cafe is located in the Bon Gene store on Rue de Marsh in Geneva, Switzerland. Very convenient location of the store because... The cafe is located on the 4th floor of this store and provides an excellent opportunity to think about and discuss your shopping and make the right decision during lunch or in the afternoon over a cup of coffee with all sorts of desserts))). The only thing that is not very comfortable is that it is advisable to reserve a place for lunch because... There are more than enough people willing and if there is no reservation, then usually there is no place (((((and you have to wait!!!

Can get quite busy at lunch so it's always preferable to reserve. Food and service are good. A bit pricey.

I went to drink a coke for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the place, the welcome and the mix of "classes". I wrongly thought that there would only be “stuck” people. Apologies for the hasty judgment. 🤗💙

Didn't find it incredible, had a slightly dry club sandwich! But very good dessert! The nice atmosphere but nothing more! Friendly staff without being overly welcoming!

Very good restaurant where you have a pleasant time. Very good value for money, we eat seasonal products which are extremely well cooked. Are you vegan, vegetarian, gluten intolerant? you will still find a good dish to satisfy you.

The interior is welcoming. Location is much less so.

Good coffee and cake. Very pleasant.
