Binz & Kunz in Zürich

Service staff was very friendly 🤗 Unfortunately we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. The "truffle" burger we ordered was cold, and the mezze plate for 32.- only included a small chicken skewer, which cost an additional 6.-. Unfortunately it was absolutely not satisfactory... Unfortunately we cannot recommend it

It was a very disappointing visit. The Zurich Geschnetzelte was absolutely inedible - the meat was very tough and hard, making it inedible, and some of the Rösti was burnt black. The shawarma dishes at the table were served cold to everyone (including fries). The atmosphere in the restaurant was very uncomfortable, you had to go outside through the rain to use the toilet and the service seemed clumsy.

Christmas dinner with a team - ultra-complicated processing with payment process. The highlight was the "staff fee" for the service, and we didn't even have constant service. Even when two people were sick you couldn't reduce the price. Mezze were nothing special and I have eaten the same thing hundreds of times in other Lebanese restaurants in Zurich. Definitely nice to have a drink in the summer - the atmosphere is nice.

Fondue meal with the shop. Never again ! It's guaranteed to be a ready-made fondue, the price is completely overpriced, the portion size is a disgrace. Service was a disaster! Fondue was brought to the table, no plates or forks were laid out yet, the wine was put somewhere and forgotten even though it had been ordered a long time ago. Tip: Stick with your normal offer because it's very good and don't try to get into the "fondue Christmas business" in such an amateurish way.

Very busy place during the holiday season. Fondue was very good and so is the service! I would come back but only to seat inside (not the closed outdoor space).

Fine mezze and various oriental specialties for self-service. Good selection at a flat price. You can also order à la carte. Burgers are also said to be very good, I will try them next time.

Super nice atmosphere - beautiful for outdoor sitting. The lunch buffet is a great value at 25 CHF and includes a drink and dessert. Very tasty.

Great temporary use and fine food!

The place itself is really nicely made. Unfortunately, the guys working behind the counter are homophobic and super unfriendly. Never experienced anything like that in Switzerland. That destroys the whole experience. Will never go again!

Nice atmosphere and the food was good. For the price we pay, I prefer to be served on the table than fetching it. But since it was a social event, I make an exception.

Moudi is a damn good host. The food is freshly prepared and the atmosphere is great!

Nice place, but simple. The food is exceptional and the staff is friendly. Cheap prices 😊 ideal for spending time with friends, less so if you want a romantic date. Satisfied. I'll come back.

Burger for 13.50 Nothing special, I expected more of the content i.e. sauce..

Great location, you can sit outside and there is plenty of space. Large selection of vegetarian food but also variations with meat. Prices okay. We weren't so lucky with the food (French fries half-cooked, skewered meat and chicken very dry.) But our Zurich friends really enjoyed it. Just try.

Mezze Querbeet for 4 people was enough for 5. A lot and well eaten. Drinks good.

Typical shabby chic container location merges with Moroccan ambience. Everything was very successful, a real pearl hidden in the middle of the Binzer Industrie Ring. You have to know it, otherwise you'll never find it.

You should update your opening times on Google. I’m soaked through from the walk, came from Seefeld to witness this 5* marvel lonely to walk back to the train station hungry and wet.

The food is great and also the advice if you have lactose intolerance. You can ask the chefs and the staff and they will know and give you information about what you can and can't eat.

A real oasis in the middle of the new hip corner of Zurich, the Binz quarter. The place is very artistically build around shipping containers, with a lot of wooden decks and plenty of shade. It instantly feels like being on a holiday! The oriental dishes are terrific and the friendly cat named Baghera is obviously owning the place! You'll love it!

Very cozy guest garden and atmosphere. The food is very good, although not very cheap. But always freshly prepared - so it can take a little longer until it is ready. Self-service - food is ordered at the counter, paid for immediately and picked up.

The location is undoubtedly fantastic and unexpected for Zurich, places like this, open and playful you would only find in italy or Middle east, so big congratulations for that. Food wise off course is very expensive like everything in Zurich but still more decently priced than the rest of Zurich (although this might be cause they don't have table service). The only reason I cannot give this place more than 3 stars is because on a saturday summer night, during a big celebration like Zurich Fäscht, at 10.30 they switched off the lights, with us and some customers still at the tables. This almost rude behavior is very typical for swiss-managed restaurants , but i was hoping not in this case. In fact i don't know more welcoming cultures than lebanese or arabic cultures in general, and if you offer a Mezze inspired restaurant, to really have the full experience of that kind of real sense of hospitality, would be great to not be literally kicked out. But this is sadly typical in Zurich and sadly I still have to find a place where the prices on the menu actually match the hospitality you expect from those prices. One more advice for the management: to really complete the experience, given that you have such a wonderful outdoor space, you could serve sisha, which would really complete the experience.

Overpriced everything 🤷‍♂️. The cheeseburger had cold ingredients inside (!) sweet potato fries were cold! Never again… Mezza and other dishes were just average. The stuff was not helpful, almost unfriendly.

I only had a drink here, but I know a lot of people who only have good things to say about the food. But the ambience and the different scenes where you can feel good are simply brilliant. Sitting outdoors and enjoying a drink in summer temperatures is perfect here.

You can't call it a burger what you get slapped on your plate for an exorbitant price and sweet potato fries that looked and tasted like they had been pulled out of the grease gutter... The service was more "all right old lady" than competent or even friendly!? At first it wasn't entirely clear to me whether they were stealing leftover food or clearing the table... The ambience would be nice if more emphasis was placed on cleanliness and a clear separation between the service and guest areas.

Super nice outdoor vibe like frau gerolds garden but less popular and with more spaces available. Without a doubt the food and cocktails, as well as the service are 10x better. We had the Mezze plate and Shawarma plate which were both fantastic. What an awesome idea.

We were there for dinner today and were treated to a variety of delicacies from Lebanon. So lovingly prepared, incredibly tasty and with great service. My guests and I were very satisfied and I am always happy to be a guest here.

It is a nice outdoor place. A bit like Frau Gerold but more private and relatively less people. Their food and drinks are good. Staff is also friendly. The location, to me, is quite hidden. While the surrounding isn’t what I prefer but the place is a gem :)

The place is super cool, here you can enjoy really good vibes and a fantastic and welcoming atmosphere. The owner and his staff are absolutely nice and kind [even their cute cat, Bagheera]: the owner chatted a bit with us, telling his story and explaining the dishes and their cuisine. He is a really friendly and kind person. About the food: everything is really delicious and the portions are really generous: we all left the restaurant with full bellies and very happy and satisfied. Delicious, cozy and uncomplicated. Here you can enjoy a good meal with friends. What's interesting here is the delicious combination of classic grill and mezzeh. So it can definitely happen that you eat some hummus with the Wiediker sausage.

This summer I was in the urban summer garden Binz & Kunz in Zurich's Binz district for the first time. Here you can enjoy refreshing drinks, cold and warm mezze, meaty and vegetarian dishes in an oriental-inspired oasis. Even with a children's play area! 👍🏻

Location was great. We had a company event. Of course it's not easy to make everything fit for such a large quantity, but unfortunately my skewer of meat was still raw inside and the rest was ok. Unfortunately, I have to say that I have had better Lebanese food. It's great for drinks and chilling out.

Was there for a National Day event. Well done. Normal drinks menu. Decent prices. Anyone who wants can also eat. Unfortunately a bit remote, even though it is in the city. Various stops within approx. 10 minutes on foot. Definitely go by again.

I’ve been there a few times for a lunch buffet. A very nice place and definitely a good value for money. Meat is not always cooked well (too dry), but there are many options to choose from. Definitely recommended!

After a year back here. Just a lovely place. Great ambiance not as crowded as in the inner city. All drinks are super tasty and everyone is nicer and friendly. My favorite summer bar in Zurich. And the Lynchburg Lemonade and the Margaritas are awesome!!

A small oasis in Zurich with fine mezze and good beer. It's self-service and you order at the bar. The drinks are served in plastic cups, which is a bit lacking in style. You will be notified via a “beeper” after preparation and can collect it from the kitchen. But the food is worth the effort.

I was in this place thanks to my company that organized the nice event. the most important that I saw is the vegan and gluten free food, available almost in all the plates and also the grilled pork and meat was delicious. Nice people and nice staff. Really good also the alcoholic cocktails and moreover that was fear is so cool! I will come back once

In winter, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere in the newly constructed building in the middle of the industrial district. Oriental carpets cover the floor and thus support the orientally emphasized menu selection. Very efficient and friendly service, which makes you forget the slight slowness of the kitchen! (But this didn't bother us!)
