Biotope in Yverdon-les-Bains

A real disaster… again and again. The place is very nice, but the food is not good, always the same, the offer is even more and more limited and the service is astronomically slow. And, if I may, respond to Aude who complains that the “children’s menu” is fries and nuggets for 8CHF: “… we are not a fast food restaurant but rather an establishment which focuses on the quality of the products . » is completely off the mark. A restaurant that focuses on the quality of its offering does not offer “nugget fries” as a menu for children. If Biotope is not a fast food restaurant (we all know that because in fast food there is fast) do not offer the same food as the worst fast food restaurant.

Really very very nice staff, but the It remains to be seen again, I ask for the children's menu and I am told that it's just fried nuggets for 8 chf! Who decides to make the menu! No drink or at least a dessert to see a Games at this price I'm going to McDonald's next time super disappointed for a first time. Besides, my child didn't eat at all, the nugget was overcooked in the fryer and the fries were seasoned with condiments. Children generally like fries plain, not with mixtures! So we had to buy something else from outside Too bad

Too bad that the only dish which was suitable depending on my wife's allergies could not be served, as a result we had to go to the restaurant which is next door 5 meters away (La Fabrica) my wife was able to eat what she could eat and I couldn't have what I wanted, evening off to a bad start, yet it's the same kitchen and the same chef, I think we'll go back there again.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, however half of the counters and fridges are turned off in the self-service area, so it feels a bit abandoned, the dishes aren't crazy, I had "wok" vegetable rice but it was overcooked and not seasoned enough, very little choice of dessert.

The setting is nice but I took the Asian dish he offered and there was nothing Asian or good about it. The dishes offered are also not those available. The poster gave the choice between shrimp, chicken or vegetarian but in the end it was either pasta and vegetables or rice with chicken.

The cocktails were nice at the start of the summer season but during our last visit they decided to change the size of the glasses [very small obviously} + drop in quality & choice without drop in prices 😅 When we expressed our disappointment the bartender retorted that it was completely normal... Question yourself quickly otherwise you will close! 🙄

Too bad... there would have been potential to do something great... But unclear instructions, lousy service, equipment already out of order, not clean, dish not crazy...

Very nice restaurant, beautifully decorated. Counter service, quite slow. The cook doesn't ask customers how the meat is cooked, which is a shame. Otherwise, good, well-cooked products.

too bad the place is super nice for families, but the dishes served are mediocre and mostly frozen.

You have to order before going to Kindercity 😂😂😂 Super long, no order of arrival! 50 min wait for 4 nuggets, 1x basket of vegetables and a pizza....

Could be a nice place... But at CHF 3.50 for a glass of tap water... CHF 1.50 for a kidney of bread (no... we couldn't call it a slice).... a staff who just coldly says no, we don't accept cards ... and above all a more than basic dish of the day, far too expensive for what is served (so to say... it's a self-service restaurant)... and above all a dish of the day in which the cook had to leave out both the salt shaker and the stock of salt... probably to encourage customers to consume more glasses of tap water at 3.50 a glass... We were there once with colleagues since we work less than 100m away, no one from the company will go there again. The place could have been nice.

It's good but the prices at the salad buffet are totally crazy. 1.50 per piece of bread, that borders on disrespect... There are much better and cheaper options, not to mention that it's self-service..

Arriving in disaster without eating before a movie screening which takes place in 30 minutes, I ask what can be offered to me with my lactose intolerance and the lack of time, neither one nor two a super friendly and dynamic waiter "Damien" offers me a salad that he lists for me and asks me if it suits me, 8 minutes later I am served, TOP it's the kind of place with the dynamism that we appreciate. Warm up frozen food. They managed to ruin a pizza. They call wok a risotto (99%) with some vague remains of vegetables and some crevetes done in prehistoric time waiting on the counter. The chicken breast is decent.

Informal restaurant-pub inside the Yverdon technopole. Quick lunch break. Courteous staff, nice environment. The mushroom risotto wasn't that great.
