The restaurant is located near the lake and can be reached on foot from the train station in about 15 minutes; the casino is in the immediate vicinity. We were warmly welcomed and our wish (which we stated when making our online reservation) for a corner table was fulfilled. As a greeting from the kitchen, a very, very good olive tapenade with bread was served. Afterwards there was a celery soup with croutons, which disappointed us a bit, it wasn't seasoned and didn't taste good. For the main course, my companion ordered a tartare with a vegetable side dish and I ordered a vegan vegetable tagine with celery puree. Both were very good and made us forget about the soup! There are some vegan dishes on the menu, and the wine list offers a relatively large selection. There are some wines in magnum bottles. We were served in an exceptionally friendly and attentive manner and at the end we were invited to the bar for a limoncello!

We were a group of 4 girls and we had a little celebration. The food and service was at the highest possible. The owner (Antony) gave us a little show presentation explaining the specialties of the day. Amazing cousine and fantastic atmosphere. Thank you, Tony, for your warm reception 🥂😘

A place discovered by chance, which is very surprising but which is appreciable. Good value for money and a varied menu of choices that can please everyone. Very modern decoration and a warm place. The restaurant is also well located, easy to reach on foot or by car.

Is it possible to be so good, fine, delicate, tasty, generous and without excess while remaining honest? Yes ! It’s at the Bis that it’s happening!! No trip to Montreux without a meal break in this place.

Placed a little behind a street corner, the restaurant doesn't look like much and yet... Pleasant welcome, lunch menu provided and inexpensive. I had the beef cheek on the server's recommendation and it was really excellent. I recommend the address!

I really like this restaurant, they serve great meat and incredibly tasty cheeks that are not on the menu. This evening, I came just for them, but unfortunately, the evening was not a success, mainly because of the waiting time. I was very angry and refused to pay for the main course, but despite this, the owner accommodated us. We waited for the meal and ate it. I won't lie, the meat was magical, so I will close my eyes tonight and definitely come back.

We went for lunch today. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was great, both the waitress and the chef, very friendly and always ready to have a joke. I definitely recommend it, and the next time we're in Montreux we'll definitely come back.

How to say!! Wow!!! 1. The Bartender with a capital B. Just by listening to him he transmits his passion to you... 2. The waiter, manager, boss, cook I don't know just by listening to him, we want to taste (I mean taste) all the dishes, for my part goat cheesecake etc, for the rest a risotto with beetroot and scallops a succulent discovery and to finish a succulent tarte tatin...and an express perfect dosage and ideal temperature rare these days. In short, perfect does not exist, but I assure you that this team of enthusiasts is very, very close to it. The next time I visit you I don't even want to see the map, I will follow you with my eyes closed for new discoveries. Thank you again and well done, it’s great to see that there are still people who are passionate about our profession.

A friendly welcome, where we were immediately put at ease. A small menu, but varied and above all original... it's a little extra in my opinion... The must is the visual appearance of the dishes.. they have put the package on the quality of the visual.. a super pretty presentation on the plates.. Bamboo straw, recycled placemat, washable fabric bread basket... I like the idea! The taste is there, the quantity too! A little extra for us is that it was the Chef who brought us the main dishes.. Thank you! The small downside: the terrace overlooks the road and there is a lot of traffic... but overall we had a great time! Well done to the whole team, it’s a great discovery!

This owner-operated restaurant strives to exceed the expectations of every guest. The team here utilizes uncommon ingredients and artfully combines bold flavors. The filet mignon is accompanied by foie gras and truffle butter. Certainly, this decadent combination is anything but cautious, and yet they also are able to balance delicate flavors. The Chilean sea bass was subtly sauced and accompanied by a smooth vegetable puree in perfect pairing. The charming owner Anthony brightens the ambiance with his welcoming humor. We joked about the vintage of a bottle of sparkling water. It was a delightful meal made even better by exceptional hospitality

Could have been a great experience if the waiter didn't bring a latte with cow milk after an all vegan dinner and me asking twice if they have/can make it with plant milk. I guess it might have been because he doesn't speak English well... still no excuse as he should have told if he didn't understand, not just randomly bring something. The other person (maybe the owner?) was very nice and explained the menu and all. Wish he had taken the order. The vegan tagine was tasty, the burger patty a little dry. The vegan creme brulé with pineapple was delicious.

We have been there for dinner without a reservation and the owners were kind enough to find us a table. We have been impressed by the offers in the menu. The host also surprised all the tables by detailing describing the main options in the menu with a teatrical applombe, very nice idea. The service has been prompt and nice. The guys know how to make feeling comfortable their guests. Food wise we started for the suggested foie gras, just delicious. We follow up with a asparagus and shrimps risotto, with feta cheese, and a lamb fillet with mashed artichokes. Both servings were generous and super tasty. We had to compliment the chef for all we had. Finally, two coffee and an home made apricots sorbetto were followed up by an offered limoncello. The wine list is well served, tho I went just for a glass of a local bio red wine. Highly suggested for a tasty dinner in Montreux!

A place in Montreux to enjoy good company as well as good atmosphere and food. I ate the house hamburger. Excellent. Also try the cocktails they offer. Very friendly staff. I recommend.

The restaurant is good, although the menu does not offer a very varied choice. Nevertheless, the food is good. However, the service is very slow, which can be a bit disappointing for customers. If you are looking for a place to enjoy good food without rushing, this restaurant could be an option to consider. However, if you're in a hurry, it might be best to look elsewhere.

A lovely welcome! A great discovery! Warm setting, lounge and cozy atmosphere. As suitable for a couple as for an evening with friends. (In our case we wanted a rather “separate” table for our 10th birthday and this request was respected) The map has been carefully thought out and we can say that the result is more than up to par! They do not distort the dishes, always respect the codes while offering a little harmonious twist for each of them. They bring that “little something” that we wouldn’t have thought of. We can say that they have rather unique propositions. We also noted the quality and freshness of the products and the presentation of the dishes, which were greatly appreciated. For wine lovers, you will find a menu with a nice selection. No proposal was put there “by chance”, in fact, upon seeing the wine list, we gave up on purchasing a bottle and asked for a food/wine pairing. A service that is “handsome” without being intrusive, a perfect balance. One thing is certain, we were not disappointed and we will return soon.

Very friendly place, smiling and pleasant staff, pretty plates nicely presented, just a small downside for the tomatoes and buratta served a little too cold. But I will go back with pleasure and thank you for the smile and the kindness in the service, it's becoming rare!

It is good, food is good, wine selection is good, service is very good...but 4.7 rating on Google Maps? No. It is unfair to many other much better restaurants.

This was the highlight restaurant of a 10 day France/Switzerland trip. The food was amazing, the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is amazing. We enjoyed everything we ordered, loved the wine and cannot express how appreciative we are of the hospitality. We would take the train to Montreaux again just for this restaurant and owner!

Warm, friendly welcome, careful cuisine, quality vegetarian dishes apart from the 3 oysters that my daughter ordered on 12/17, non-existent oyster fork and when leaving the restaurant poisoning and vomiting undoubtedly due to the oysters!

I had a burger with fries and a little salad. I have to say the burger was very tasty. The waitress even asks how you would like the meat. The atmosphere was very cozy and the service was also very good and friendly. The menu is available in French or English. If you want to eat a delicious burger in Montreux, I can highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is great with very good prices but the service is extremely low. I've been 3 times there and there is always a similar situation with this Saturday: Everything was tasty and nicely decorated. But it's pretty obvious that this restaurant needs more people so that they take orders faster. We ordered our food one hour after our arrival even though we didn't ask for something to drink so we made pretty clear that we want our meal. After we ate our main dish our dirty dishes stayed there for at least 30 minutes. After someone took our dessert/coffee order 3 times (asking again every 10-15 min) and after we received 2 of the 3 coffees since the other one was forgotten once again. I was trying to find someone to tell it for at least 15 minutes. The manager there, was really good at his job and was trying to do everything from recommending us things, to do bookings and taking dirty plates from around the place so that he helps the rest, but it was still not enough because as I said before they need more people to work. It was actually an image that was making it difficult for us to eat and relax since we were feeling stressed with watching (almost) everyone running and trying to do as many chores as possible. The restaurant had a magician if someone wanted to be amused. He was really kind and funny. Some people just make you realize how much they like their job with how happily they do it. We enjoyed it! But still it seemed weird to us how they had hired someone for this job and not also 1-2 more people for taking faster orders and preparing the tables at least for the weekends.

Great discovery! We ate really well with super friendly staff! Special shout out to the bartender who made us custom mocktails! Just a slightly long wait between main course and dessert, especially for simple ice cream sorbet.

An incredible experience! This restaurant is a rare gem! The room manager is exceptional, very professional and responsive to each of his customers' needs. He did not fail to come and see us regularly even though the service was always full! Two magicians were there to entertain the tables and the bartenders concocted original and delicious cocktails for us! The meal was just sublime!! I recommend and we will return if the opportunity arises for sure :)

Good food. Nothing to say. Everything was excellent. Too bad the service was too long and not organized. We had the excuse of a sick waiter. But still, 3 hours at the table. You have to be motivated! Just improve your service organization and you're on top. The setting and atmosphere also very cool. I recommend.

Cool spot, nice music, and lounge vibe. I got the burger, and it was really good, they ask you how you want it cooked, it's tasty and all the ingredients tasted fresh. The fries portion was generous and crunchy. The host puts on a real fun show.

You’ll have to take my word for it that I never do this, but our dinner here was so incredibly good that we ended up coming back the very next night to try all the items we didn’t get to on the first round. Every single dish we tried was absolutely delicious, but the appetizers (heart of burrata, goat cheese cake, gazpacho, and a special cold watermelon soup with feta) were particularly fantastic. The service is paced to spend a few hours savoring your meal, so plan your schedule accordingly - you won’t be disappointed!

We eat well in this restaurant with super nice decor and very friendly service. The menu is full of surprises and we can see that the Chef is working hard. The burgers are super well served, what's more, they are smiling and friendly and give a new impetus to the way they serve guests. Why not. The boss is really classy and takes care of his customers. Either. However, sometimes it's a bit long. Between dishes, or even to come and take the order. And that adds a little grain of sand to an evening that was all in all a very successful gastronomic experience.

Magnificent dishes at fair prices and for all tastes! The fresh goat cheese cheesecake style, a treat, to lift you up at night! Burrata on succulent tomato compote! The dishes are also up to par! The beef fillet Wow! And the accompanying ingredients are the extra touch (often neglected by other restaurants, these were really good). All this with a smiling and motivated service! In short, we will come back :)
