.. An absolute gem in the heart of Amriswil. One of my favorite restaurants because of the very pleasant, cozy atmosphere, always a friendly greeting, from then to the waitress to saying goodbye. The offers are diverse, individual, seasonally appropriate and simply delicious, no matter what time it is for breakfast/meal/snack/cake. Whether it's warm or cold drinks, something to toast or a summer smoothie, I love this place and that's why I really recommend it. I always enjoy coming back! A connection with joy, enjoyment and relaxation.

A very, very stylish restaurant in the middle of Amriswil and the adjacent flower shop makes you feel like you are in the middle of nature. Great food, super attentive and friendly service. Definitely worth one or more visits.

We were registered for a café and croissants. At 9 a.m. sharp the door opened. We received a very friendly welcome and were assigned our reserved seats. And the waitress was standing next to the table and wanted to know if they wanted espresso coffee. And presto, there were croissants and drinks on the tables. Even when we said goodbye, we were very kindly invited to come back again.

I particularly like the selection of really high-quality and regional products. The breakfast (Gipfeli, 3 slices of bread, muesli, jam/honey and butter) is beautifully put together in terms of appearance and taste, the service is completely uncomplicated and friendly and responds to individual requests and you can enjoy your breakfast in a special ambience. I can't understand reviews about portions that are too small and a poor price-performance ratio, the portions are absolutely sufficient and the products are really, really good.

Wonderful location, friendly service & lovingly prepared, fine food.

The food is good, but the price-performance ratio is not good at all. For breakfast (14 CHF) you get a taste of nothing. The latte macchiato is served in a 2dl glass and you pay extra for each additional thin slice of bread. Don't go again.

Super friendly, motivated and nice staff. You immediately feel at home in the beautifully designed cardboard box. Breakfast was prepared heartily and quickly and tasted wonderful😊 I can absolutely recommend it!

The bistro is run by two likeable young men with a lot of passion and attention to detail. Particularly worthy of mention is the exquisite wine and beer selection. Very tasty cocktails, my favorites: Basil Smash à la Morris and the Bern Mule. Great coffee with beans from a local roastery. The bistro is also characterized by its cozy atmosphere. I can only recommend the bistro!

Absolutely adorable! With French flair and very attentive ladies, not to mention the fine food. We had the big breakfast. It was almost too bad to eat, it was so lovingly decorated! We will be back!

On Thursday there is always a salad buffet, your soup and main course are served from the kitchen. With coffee and drinks within the price range of approx. CHF 55 for two people. Always beautifully presented. Unfortunately there were a few meat dishes in the daily menu. Always worth an experience!

Very cozy bistro/café with adjoining event hall (cultural forum). With the cozy vintage interior, the good cuisine and the friendly staff, it is unique in Amriswil. Unfortunately closed on Saturday evenings.

Something I can really vouch for is the desserts. My boyfriend and I were there for the third time and tried something new every time we visited. It was definitely not just the attentive staff that was a huge hit during my visit, but also the good climate. The location is really easy to reach! The good transport connections make a food trip quick and easy. I found the commandment extremely appealing.

The bistro is an enrichment for Amriswil! Jeannette Fusco designs the restaurant with a unique flair, changing to the appropriate monthly theme. The employees provide service with a lot of passion and charm. There is certainly no kebab in the Bistro Cartonage, but there are fine specialties, selected and prepared by the boss herself!

Never had such a bad kebab. What is sold as yogurt sauce is actually mayo. There is no trace of lettuce or onions.

Homely atmosphere, good and cheap food. The staff is friendly too... I like it here ☺️🙂
