Bistro Coco in Genève

A restaurant with excellent starters, including a tuna ceviche with cucumber to die for! The dishes were a little less successful, the combination of chicken and large pasta not being to our taste; similarly, the salmon tartare included so many ingredients that it lost the salmon flavor. We should come back, the wide choice of the menu allowing other original taste experiences. The staff is very friendly. A big downside: the noise! The materials used are beautiful but the lack of fabrics (carpet or other) results in a permanent hubbub which is very disturbing.

Nice decor, we feel good. I love the benches. Varied menu and parking space in front of the restaurant.

The food is really delicious at Bistro Coco. Prices on the menu are a bit high but their choice of daily specials make this a great place for lunch. The lasagna was outstanding and the cheeseburger really good.

Not a warm decor, a very empty restaurant and the waitress who was initially charming then who picked on a trifle and behaved inappropriately. We won't come back again.

Restaurant with modern decor with a covered terrace. The menu is small but still offers fish, meat and various vegetarian dishes. Fast service and smiling staff. However, the welcome was cold and we had to wait before we were seated at the table. The food was good quality but really nothing more.

We celebrated the birthday of my son the food was excellent so much variety and real good tasty food !!! We all took different dishes we are a family of 6 … and from the tartare to the agneau with purée au truffe !!mmmmmm!! To the cheese burger and French fries… excellent!!! Than we had the cake with the surprise candle !!!! The waitress was soo helpful and nice, amazingly quick service and a wonderful kind and homey feeling you get from this lovely lady that serves!!! This restaurant is a dream!! I love it and highly recommend !!!🌸🌸🌸

A bistro as we like them! Magnificent setting and delicious, homemade cuisine!

Former (Chez Gregory) and current Bistro de Coco. The food is not bad but it is very ordinary, I asked for the meat of my burger to be cooked medium rare, but it was overcooked and burned all around. , the sea bass fillet was ok, industrial apple strudel, good ice cream. The waitress was friendly and very dynamic, a little noisy.

The place has changed its name and is now called Coco. The food is excellent and the room is small which gives a very nice atmosphere! Come with your eyes closed.

I left the restaurant before eating (first time this has happened to me), because I felt insulted several times by the waitress, who made it clear that what I was saying was not true. I could not stay in this restaurant, because I cannot tolerate this. The person had misunderstood or not understood something on the phone (which I had clarified, however), they could have at least admitted that it is possible. Or has she never made a mistake in her life perhaps? I left without aggression, but not happy with this unacceptable attitude for me. Mr. Restaurant Manager: before giving your opinion, as you were not present, neither on the telephone, nor during this problem on site, I invite you to call me (you have my number) so that I can give you my version. This way, you will have the version of your waitress and that of your almost customer. It's always easier and honest to give your opinion when you have both versions ;-)

Very good address! Refined cuisine and warm atmosphere, I recommend it to all those who love good traditional cuisine.

I found the place by chance but wanted to try as it seemed nice and wasn't disappointed. We sat on the terrace, it was nice and cozy. The daily menu was a veggie soup with croutons, which was amazing- rich, creamy and tasty. The second was a tuna lasagna, surprisingly good and light. The portions were big. Service was nice but a bit slow as there was only one lady for the whole place.

We came across this restaurant by chance while looking for a place for lunch. And it was a great discovery! The setting is aesthetic and welcoming, the staff is very friendly. We ate well and enjoyed a gin and tonic beautifully served with lots of multicolored fruits!

From my first visit to this restaurant, I was immediately hooked. I appreciated the quality of the menu, just the length needed to have a small range of flavors while maintaining the freshness and quality of products and preparations. I appreciated the portions, generous but not too much, exactly what is needed so that once the cutlery is placed, I say to myself “this is just what I needed” and not leave with my arms against the table. stomach after stuffing myself with fries. I appreciated the service, when the kind waiter apologized for not having the wine we asked for but bounced back by offering us another bottle which was also an excellent proposition. He knows his menu by heart, probably also because the one who prepares it with taste in his kitchen is none other than his wife. A restaurant made up of a small, knowledgeable family can only be a success. And please, don't get too impatient if the waiter takes a long time to come to your table, he's probably very busy and blowing up the pedometer, so kindly remind him that you're salivating at the thought of a quick taste his dishes. A little special mention for me, the ultimate burger fan, who takes his hat off to this perfect blend of eggplant and pesto which I myself had the idea before and which has become my ultimate burger! After 3 years of study at the Geneva hotel school, believe me, I know what I’m talking about! This bistro deserves these 5 stars. And what I like less are the people who get off for free with 1 undeserved star, but they don't know what they're talking about.

I give it a 5 but I will have to give it a 4.3, it's a good restaurant which deserves to be known but which needs to improve several points. Great discovery this Friday evening! It starts with a friendly and smiling welcome, then good, well-presented dishes to end with equally good desserts. Incredible discovery, all the dishes offered were tempting. There is also a wide choice of daily specials which is rare. The service is impeccable and the staff attentive to your needs. A nice terrace in the sun. Parking spaces in front or nearby. I can only recommend this restaurant.

We discovered this establishment via La Fourchette, what a nice surprise! A fairly simple terrace, but the tablecloth and fabric napkins are a real plus, they are becoming a rare commodity in Geneva! The welcome is friendly, the dishes are presented to you on large slates, it has its charm. The starters are absolutely transcendent!!! We had the Genevoise burrata (special mention of the turmeric honey and ginger that accompanies it), a simple and effective goat's cheese salad, a watermelon and tomato feta salad as well as the tomme vaudoise baked with truffle oil. It was a treat! For the main course we tried the wild prawns and perch, nice but not incredible compared to the wonderful starters. The service was fast, smiling, pleasant and very professional. Thank you, we’ll be back soon to devour starters galore 🙂

We were welcomed very warmly by the team, in a friendly setting. The cook uses local and fresh products, and offers “homemade” cuisine. Excellent. I tasted the marrow bone as well as the cordon bleu and I enjoyed it! During confinement, the boss even made us cheeseburgers to take away while it was closed, and they were delicious. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food. It is obvious that I will return there and I happily recommend this address.

Indeed, a very nice discovery. A small neighborhood restaurant with a little something extra. A varied menu, gazpacho, tartare etc. A very interesting 3-course menu for 39.-. Above all, there was a truly warm welcome. A great experience! We will return.
