Good food, but way too expensive

Burger at the top! Smashed burger, well grilled meat. Good portion of fries with 1 sauce of your choice. I recommend!

Definitely the best burgers in Vevey.

As for breakfast, the hot chocolate is sublime. It's real with the possibility of choosing between dark, milk, or white chocolate flakes. The organic coffee is also excellent as well as the pastries.

In Vevey, the staff are top notch, friendly and efficient, I tasted the heritage burger, it was a limited time version, it was just incredible! My only disappointment is that he wasn't there today.

After waiting 15 minutes I was finally able to place my order, then it took only 5 minutes to cook my burger and fries, which really helped to compensate for the wait… then, WOW! What a great burger!! Strongly competitive with Five Guys, Holy Cow and Non-Stop. My goodness, they make great burgers! Oh my, oh my, oh my!

My partner and I are disappointed with the quality-price of the food. 50frs for 2 menu, frozen fries, poor quality pre-cooked roll, canned champions..and no table service. The concept is nice but that stops there. Best served at holy cow for example. But nice staff on this side, zero comments!

Hands down the best burger in town! Juicy, tasty, just right. I've even stopped making burgers at home now that these guys are in town. That says a lot. And the fries are perfect.

Very disapointed. The employee touched the trash can and continued to make my burguer with the same gloves. Then there was a piece of bread that he used for my burguer which was about to fall, he removed it and ate it in front of me. Eating on my meal that I just paid for not very hygienic respect 0 too. Black Tap with its milkshakes are super good and original. Unfortunately the “stand” is in the Manor Center…we have limited space for multiple stands including the Black Tap. This is also an inconvenience for schedules. In addition, there is less choice of milkshakes than the one in Geneva. Too bad he doesn't have his own place.

Super nice experience. The two super friendly servers, great food...a little return to the USA!!! The truffle mayonnaise sauce pffff, delicious. I highly recommend The only little thing but I'm very annoying about that is the fries a little more cooked would have been perfect...

Honestly, very good burgers! The meat is excellent and the ingredients are quality. The price is a bit more expensive but justified. The fries are good too! The staff is friendly. This black tap has it all. Food, quality/price, staff. On the other hand, only 4 burgers on the menu, we quickly had the tour… But for me the big problem remains the schedules. Doors close at 8 p.m., last burger on the stove at 7:50 p.m., you have to rush at 7:20 p.m. to get your burger, it's up to you if you want to eat there but it's tight. I am not a person who eats at 6 p.m. you will excuse me, but a fast food restaurant which closes at 8 p.m. and which is closed on Sunday... the infrastructure to be reviewed... in connection with Manor perhaps... would it be preferable to open a small place? A place that works this well, you can afford it, Geneva and Zurich close at 10 p.m.

I wanted to eat a burger today, I came from Lausanne for that. But when I saw the cook without a mask sticking his fingers in his nose it really took away my appetite.

Definitely the best burger in Switzerland. Even better than Five Guys. Juicy, fresh, all meat patties and artisanal buns. Perhaps a little too much sauce but delicious nonetheless. Don't believe the reviews about hygiene. The staff were friendly and sanitary throughout the process. Prices correct for Switzerland at CHF14 for a single and CHF18 for a double. Recommended. Please open a franchise in Lausanne.

Normally I love a black tap burger but I was really disappointed this evening to be told that I couldn’t be sold a vegetarian option as they are permanently no longer available. This needs serious review.

Excellent burger on the other hand I went there on a Sunday at 7 p.m. and I found the door closed even though on Google and on their site it is indicated that on Sunday it is open until 8 p.m. in Vevey. A bit annoying to travel 1 hour round trip to find the door closed...

Arrived Saturday at 7:55 p.m., I was very well received by a great team, the burgers are excellent!

The burgers are good, but the service, attitude and hygiene are horrible. 1. First of all, the vegetarian burger was removed from the menu and we asked if one burger could be done without meat (intolerance -medical reasons). We got comments on our order and a refusal. We kindly asked what could be proposed instead and after a negotiation finally got the burger and an angry look as a bonus. 2. The gloves should be worn at this type of establishment at least by a cook. 3. I understand it's is very hot in the kitchen, but please try to keep your mask on or at least change it after sneezing... When both people don't use gloves, don't wash hands, don't wear masks properly, but on the neck are constructing your burger, you wish the owner would see what his "Black Tap" turned into. 4. The cashier touches money and then helps to put the sauce on a bun, holding bun in his hands.. It would be also great if he could use his foot to open the trash and not his hands that he didn't wash for the 40 minutes, that we were there. I think the most important in any job is the attitude and here it was horrible and neither solution oriented or customer oriented at all. I think staff could benefit from a good training.

I went there three times. Three times they no longer had the vegetarian burger. Huge disappointment. 😳 Macdo does better….

Pretty expensive but the best tasting burger in Vevey. The meat is so so juicy and cooked to perfection. They also have sweet potato fries to die for and a big selection of sauces too.

Friendly staff and top-notch burger in New York style, it's beautiful meat with flavor, toppings and sauce too. The fries are good but nothing more, after going there 5-6 times they are generally a little soft and small. Even if they were included with the burger no problem but if it's to pay 5.- plus I prefer to take a Double unless I really want fries. As for Milkshakes, they are incredible, really good. They make them in a simple or “crazy” version with decoration and whipped cream etc. The Crazy ones are worth trying once for the delirium because they are beautifully made but they are really huge and difficult to consume and especially to finish... so good for sharing between two people? The simple versions are just as good, cheaper and much more reasonable.

The service is really not incredible, see you again! And the price of fries 9 CHF is too expensive and they weren't even good. I had heard a lot of good things about this brand and that must not be valid for Vevey. Not to mention that I had specified without tomatoes and as you can see in the photo there are some big ones... I wouldn't go back there again.

Not bad burger but terrible service. The little young man (17-18 years old) was poorly polite and did not respect any hygiene rules. The order was 19fr, when we gave a 20 note, the young man THROWED us 1fr on the cash table. Then, he touched the burger buns with his unwashed hands and without gloves (!!!) to transfer them to the work surface. When he saw that he had mayo on his fingers, he wiped it on his t-shirt and then continued with the second bread. Unfortunately I won't go back there again

The times are wrong because we came yesterday thinking that the establishment closed at 9 p.m. but at 7:50 p.m. we could no longer return. Too bad it will be next time but disappointed to have been fooled by Google.

Good New York burger. Plus at an affordable price. The fries deserve a second bath to be crispier.

After tasting their old fashioned with double meat, only one observation comes to mind: WORST HAMBURGER OF MY LIFE. Meat as thin as paper and tasteless, tastes like a pan, non-existent sauce and soft fries. Excessive price (18CHF + 5CHF fries) for this "hamburger" unworthy even of McDonald's. As someone who wanted to try their restaurant in Geneva, I'm not going to rush there, that's for sure.
