Bode - Bäckerei & Konditorei in Birmensdorf (ZH)

Very nice pastry shop, clean and well kept. Very professional and friendly service. Parking available on site. Large buffet of both sweet and savory dishes. It's worth stopping for a coffee and a croissant. Prices normal. The service is very fast.

Unfriendly, exorbitant prices....

The birthday cake we ordered looks nice but unfortunately we can't eat it. Price 66 Fr. Ok. We specially ordered without alcohol and without gelatin. They still used animal gelatin. Otherwise the cake won't hold up. That's ridiculous. Unfortunately my daughters picked up the cake because I had left it there. What do you do for allergy sufferers? Now I'm standing there without a cake. Thank you.

Very friendly service and fine coffee!

Unmotivated, unfriendly service. The ice cream I ate there was so old that I had stomach pains all evening and the following night. When I called in the morning, the employee only apologized briefly and assured me that she would pass it on to her boss. She didn't want to know any information from me. So I have to assume that such a complaint is ignored by this company.

Rather expensive. But still delicious. Service is quick and friendly.

I live right around the corner and am there every day. I can only recommend. The price is in the upper segment, but the quality is top notch.

Unfriendly service. All employees without motivation! Coffee inedible and too expensive for self-service! Baked goods are good. It's a shame there is no alternative in Birmensdorf.

Despite consistent quality and already high prices, certain products inexplicably increased as of January 1, 2023. My favorite rolls from 1.60 to 2.00 CHF. That's 25%. There is no justification for this.

Unfriendly service. However, certain employees are friendly and competent. When I picked up the cake I ordered, I was not informed about the additional charge of 10.- more. This is very incompetent. The ground team didn't even accept it, just a: “Yes, I understand”. Selection and coffee is very good and tasty!

Soooo fine. I enjoyed a cream slice. Super fresh.

Good place for 'coffee and cake' in the center of Birmensdorf.

My friend and I visited their branch today at 1:00 p.m. The saleswoman who served us wasn't very friendly. Our vegetable dishes were "half warm"! I found the music and volume to be very loud! The recurring whistle signal from a machine was even annoying the guest at the neighboring table. All in all, not a pleasant stay.

Service is often unfriendly, feedback is neither taken into account nor is an apology heard. Croissants and Weggli are often from yesterday and almost inedible. Patisserie are good, but far too big for one person.

You can comfortably enjoy a cup of coffee with delicious sweets here.

Great baked goods and bright interior for Käffala

Attractiveness is missing. But it has what is necessary.

The products are very good, but the service is much worse than in Uitikon, it needs a little leadership there. There is plenty of seating but it is less personal and the staff is less helpful.

Probably the best bread in the area. Bode currently has 4 locations: Uitikon, Birmensdorf, Stallikon and Zurich (Albisrieden). The Uitikon branch is even open on Sunday mornings.

Great range of bread, pastries and cakes. Nice cafe.

Nice to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The butter croissants are particularly good, and the coffee is unfortunately Swiss - but cheap.

Fine confectionery products and only mediocre coffee (in my case espresso). Despite not being overly busy at the counter, abandoned tables were not cleared and cleaned. The upholstery material of the upholstery group in the corner is quite greasy and dirty. Already very well attended at 3 p.m.

Village bakery with a well-placed, beautiful cafe. The special hot chocolate is wonderful.

An excellent snack! What is recommended is the tuna sandwich, the egg canape, turkey sandwich as well as the coffee and cappuccino!
