Bolero in Luzern

Everything excellent! The food was excellent and the service was courteous. Unfortunately it was a bit noisy due to the presence of two larger groups. Thanks!

The four of us had dinner at Bolero the evening before Good Friday. Everything was wonderful, the food, the ambience and especially the attentive, nice and humorous service. I would particularly like to mention Alex, he was always in a good mood, had a joke with us and was always there for us and very accommodating! The very fine olive oil that is on the table is highly recommended. We immediately bought a 3 liter canister of it. The olives and olive paste are amazing! We all ate very well. Thank you for the great evening and a piece of the holiday moment.

Very attentive staff, excellent food & pleasant atmosphere. The iPad with the menu selection was very convincing, including a detailed list of the wines with their origin, etc. The non-alcoholic sparkling wine (thanks!) was also very good.

They call paella what is not paella, anyone who knows what paella is will be disappointed.

The BOLERO restaurant is a Spanish restaurant with a predominantly Spanish menu. Very high-quality products are freshly processed. Super friendly staff, very helpful and flexible. As a vegetarian, I have the special advantage that I can put together my own vegetarian plate using a tablet (which is available). Starters and desserts are served to the guest in an extremely attractive and friendly manner. At the end there was a very tasty treat made of delicious liquid chocolate with a cookie tube. Breakfast is served at BOLERO and is hard to beat in terms of variety and freshness. Special requests such as scrambled, fried or boiled eggs can be ordered from the always friendly staff.

One of my favorite restaurants, super fine food and good service. Price-wise, it's on the higher end. Nice restaurant. Early reservation is an advantage.

Food was in general good, but somewhat overpriced and service was disappointing. Our waitress (Z.) was not polite, pushing us to order fast, even though there was more than 1 hour before restaurant closed, and not answering other questions. The rest of the staff were actually quite friendly. Regarding food, they mistook our side dish order brining potato croquettes instead of mashed potatoes. The octopus was a bit dry and lacking some kind sauce. The soup and tuna tartar were delicious. Overall was okay, but could have been much better.

Simply GREAT TOP TOP... I've eaten here several times now. Extremely top class!!! The food is amazing, the staff is super friendly, the prices are a little higher, but more than fair for the proximity to the train station, the ambience, the staff and the great food. I will come back!! I'm already looking forward. It is simply a pleasure every time you visit! Also worth mentioning is the breakfast buffet. Simply overwhelming. The offer and everything. This should be the benchmark for many other restaurants!

I visit the Bolero regularly and I am always very satisfied. Whether tapas, paella or other dishes, they are always delicious. Staff is very attentive, friendly and authentic.

Great paelleas. We have been here more than once and will come back. Vanessa served us great. The toilets are very nicely done. The house wine is very good.

We liked a lot this restaurant. It’s really beautiful and well located, the people is kind and attentive. The food was not incredible, but was good. In the beginning they offered a start, bread with sauce. We order for starters a pastel de bacalhau, croquete of trufa and the schrimps with the garlic bread, and was all very delicious. The main dish was Paella for two, and was not so tasty like it should be. The rice was not incredible, the sea food was not very tasty. Anyway, we paid 135CHF for all, with 2 beers, 1 cola 0 and 1 expresso. But the atmosphere and the vibe was really good.

Was there to join my friend birthday. The restaurant is very clean, modern and chic design. Food is really delicous. Tapas is nice and very tasteful. Paella is really yummy as well. I did try the veggie & seafood paella there. Staffs re really friendly, professional & attentive. Khanh took care of our table and really nice. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends in Luzern.

I was there with my family and when we entered we were escorted straight to our table and it was really fun to look at the menu with the iPads and see something different. Very nice staff, especially Sharom as she served us. Large portions but unfortunately no own parking space. I would look forward to an answer.

Nice restaurant with delicious food. The Secreto Iberico in particular exceeded all expectations.

Mussel wasn't particularly good. Aperol spritz didn't taste like anything, little Aperol, strawberry caipirinha was also very sparing with cachaça, tasted more like children's syrup. Service was very attentive, fine greetings from the kitchen. Paella for 1 person or more is great. I'd be happy to come back, though I don't order anything from the bar except Prosecco or red wine.

Digital reservation is possible on the homepage. Except for the ribeye (medium=well done), all dishes were very tasty and beautifully presented. I don't think there's any worse food in the world

We stayed at Cascada Boutique Hotel and decided to dine in BOLERO Restaurant. It certainly didn't disappoint us! The restaurant was nicely presented with good music and ambient lighting. They don't do paper menu and instead we were given two tablets, which contain all menu items with photos and even videos. This is really a good idea as you know exactly each dish/cocktail looks like. We were firstly given some bread and olive spread whilst we waited for our food. My partner and I chose to share the main Shrimp Tortilla as starters between us and it was perfect! Our mains - Ribeye Steak and Lamb Shank were also delicious. Our waiter Lou was BRILLIANT! He has good menu knowledge and upselling skills. The service was very attentive from start to end. The bill was a bit pricey as we spent over CHF 180 for two of us but for the quality of food and service we received, it was worthy. This is one of the best restaurants in Lucerne and I would recommend it to anyone that visits the city!

I surprised my lovely wife with lunch at Bolero for her birthday and the Bolero team delighted her with a great dessert surprise. Thank you very much again for this great unexpected surprise, it was really successful and we were both very happy, and by the way the service was extremely friendly, attentive and perfect. The food was freshly prepared from A to Z, seasoned with love and served with joy and we enjoyed every bite. Even though we don't live in the region, we will definitely come by again. A wonderful restaurant near the railway station. Spanish food cooked really well like in Spain. Romantic atmosphere. If you have a birthday the waiters sing a happy birthday 🎂 song to you. Above expectations. The best service I have ever seen in Europe.

Amazing choice to eat spanish dishes in a trendy and modern restaurant in Luzern. The waitress Rita was very friendly and the food was delicious. We took the Paella Marisco with the addition (very much recommended!) of grilled octopus. We will return for sure if again in the city!

An hour wait for a cheap paella is standard here. This store is complete nonsense.

The service staff is extremely friendly and the food was excellent. We had the tapas menus, which were very diverse. (Tofu, burrata, fish, meat, mussels, pulpo, etc.) My biggest highlight was the pulpo. I had never eaten such tender pulpo before.

This lunchtime we were able to enjoy a very fine menu again. As always, the service is friendly, helpful and very well trained. A big thank you and compliments to the entire Bolero team.

The service is awesome. Food is great. The white sangria is definitely my cup of tea. I would definitely visit again when I come to Luzern next time.

We had dinner with a group of 5 people and paid a total of over 1,000. So it's really in a very high price range. We are of the opinion that at this price the performance should be corresponding. The service was totally overwhelmed and we had to keep reminding ourselves that we would like to order something. The place was full and for that reason the atmosphere wasn't exactly inviting. Very little space between the tables and generally a rather loud background noise. The food is good, but we have to say that we don't think the price/performance ratio is correct. A paella pan with dry chicken and rice for 44.- is clearly too expensive and not acceptable in such quality. The duck breast was rather tough and what was definitely missing was some sauce or at least more spices. All of the dishes lacked that certain something and, above all, a touch more sophistication would have been appropriate. When we paid we were simply sent away without saying goodbye or saying thank you! You can't accept that, especially not when you pay such a high amount. We will not and cannot recommend this restaurant under these circumstances. We would be happy to receive an answer.

Having dinner at Bolero was an exceptional experience. The paella we ordered was simply delicious, with a perfect mix of flavors and fresh ingredients. The staff were welcoming and friendly, adding a homely touch to the atmosphere. The menu was varied and delicious, and the restaurant was well maintained and clean, which helped make dinner even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, a gastronomic experience to repeat and recommend to friends and relatives. We were completely satisfied!

If you want something other than the traditional Fondue, the location is perfect.

Spanish food eaten in Switzerland... the octopus was really delicious... I think you have to ask for a little salt in the paella to suit Korean tastes. If you just order it, it's too salty.

Considering the price in Switzerland, I won't talk about the price. The paella was delicious and the steak was good, but I recommend medium rare rather than medium. It seems that when Switzerland asks for medium, it is usually well done.

Food was good quality. Prices tend to be high. Long waiting times to be served... For example, we had to wait 15 minutes after arrival until our drink requests were accepted or 10 minutes until we received a refill of bread to go with the tapas...

The food was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the staff. They were very attentive and very friendly. Ms. Huchas brought joy to our table with a smile. If you are in Lucerne, you should visit the Bolero. We recommend that you make a reservation in advance.
