The feeling of arriving at a friend's house every Saturday morning. Farah's "with love" resonates for a good part of the weekend! Excellent traditional bread with controlled cooking. Tons of treats in sizes that would put the coop and Migros out of business.

Visiting this small bakery is like spending a few minutes on vacation in Morocco. The first time I went in, I came out with a smile on my face. The owner has a huge heart, which is reflected in her welcome and her products. I go back there regularly for its tabbouleh or other midday snacks, served generously and always…. " with love ". The breads are also worth a detour for those who are tired of supermarket breads. And when it comes to local pastries, it's a killing, but high in calories! A little surprised by the poor reception received by some, this in no way corresponds to what I experienced, but it is true that this bakery also works on the emotions of, in my eyes, its very endearing boss. My favorite bakery in Lausanne. Everything is very good.

I called this bakery to simply ask if they had any Moroccan pastries. I wanted to be sure before going there because the journey is about 20 km. I was attacked by the receptionist. She told me that I had to come there and not ask questions over the phone. I will never buy a single thing from them. This behavior is shameful.

It's the best bakery in the world! The lady is very, very nice, always cheerful and funny. My colleague and I were in Lausanne for an internship, unfortunately we discovered the bakery too late. But we went there two days in a row, because the food is so good and the atmosphere so nice. There are also great omlettes, samosas, borek's, fruit juices etc. , all of which were excellent.

This morning, I was with a friend who often goes to this bakery and therefore offered to accompany her. When we arrived, we encountered a terrible scene. A gentleman who was with his child was being insulted by the manager, who gave him the finger while screaming. I don't know what this gentleman's fault was, but nothing justifies such behavior in a shopping place, especially in front of a child.. I read a review from a month ago which says that the manager can be clumsy in case of stress.. There, this is not It was not simple clumsiness and if the crowds are too stressful, you have to change jobs. My friend and I turned back, shocked and embarrassed by this situation. We will not come back.

Too good and also a warm welcome

After reading a few reviews and knowing this bakery quite well, I would like to make a summary. If the opinions are so divided it is mainly because Farah is alone at the sale and the stress which affects her in the event of a large crowd makes her dry, clumsy and a little too direct. She puts a lot of pressure on herself. I understand that this might offend some people. Farah has a strong personality, very generous and which gives a unique charm to this bakery, and a very varied and homemade assortment.

Very unpleasant welcome from Mrs. Farah. If you want to eat there, you better go your way! I looked at the card and the prices to pay with my change. I receive the very disparaging remark that I have looked at the prices carefully and that I should pay more since I consume on site, however nothing is written. She tells me she prefers takeaway customers. However, I didn't ask for anything and she still told me that it's hard for everyone. So what? There is perhaps different treatment for men, because the gentleman who arrived after me and ate there was not entitled to this remark! Madam, I advise you to remove your tables and also put the prices for drinks on site! I wanted to chat with Madame Farah who didn't want to know anything. In Morocco, having been there 4 times, the welcome is extraordinary and frank. Too bad, I stayed 20 minutes.

I have lived in the area for three months and finally decided to stop in. I wish I would have visited sooner. This place is amazing! The lady working there was really nice. She asked if it was my first time there, which it was, and she showed me all of the products. With a large drink menu and a large selection of breads and pastries, one can certainly find something there. I left with some pain au chocolat and cookies. I’ll be back to try the other items.

Unpleasant manager and not even good products.

Warm and welcoming service always received with a smile. Daily fresh and varied breads, croissants, sweet treats. A few tables to have a coffee croissant, sandwiches and salads to take away. She takes the time to chat with each customer and it's pleasant.

The manager is great, kind, polite and generous. The Bakery is well located. Moroccan tea is excellent. Lots of choice for all tastes. I highly recommend.

The products are excellent, I've been there several times, but I won't go back again. Unfortunately, the latest reception wasn't the best and honestly it didn't surprise me because I've only been living here for a short time, but I'm realizing that kindness/tolerance/welcome isn't exactly a widespread mindset. For those who have not yet had these experiences, I absolutely recommend them for the quality of the products.

The lady who works there is very nice, gave me a piece of bread and a croissant too. On the other hand, I don't think it was fresh that day.

This bakery takes you on a journey! Daily with treats and very good artisanal breads (with chickpeas, nuts, figs, plain to name a few). And for special occasions the unique Farah will prepare truly divine couscous for you to order (of course always "with lots of love)! I highly recommend trying this unmissable address in Lausanne - I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Great welcome, ok price, very pretty setting. On the other hand, pain au chocolat and croissants were too salty. (I have never eaten such a salty croissant) and the braid is all dry. Too bad because everything else is top notch. We thought we had found the pearl.

Imagine a bread that keeps because it is left to rise for 3.5 hours. Rediscover the bakery of yesteryear, but above all the colors of work done with love. You should not go when the lady is stressed.... we made a big order and we refused it because we asked for a payment.... serious lack of politeness and respect for the customer, there is no point in having good products if we can't manage the estrés. At the end we took away the order that was already ready to pay and invited us to go to another bakery. Me and my girlfriend didn't want to argue about 5 croissants and 3 sides so we went out without anything....

One of the best bakeries in Lausanne. The sandwiches are homemade, varied, hearty and made with very tasty fresh vegetables. Salmon, ham on the bone or even koftas are delicious. There are all the essentials of an excellent "traditional" bakery there, but the tea room, the cafes and the exquisite Moroccan pastries give the place an atmosphere and charm unique to Lausanne. You will not find a better welcome than that offered by Farah who is particularly generous and smiling.

There is a secret pleasure there, an assurance of finding meaning in the day that begins. This bakery offers all that and more: freshly baked rolls, a small terrace and very friendly and welcoming staff. Moreover, the bakery is located at the top of Valentin hill. This is your reward for the effort you endured. All you have to do is enjoy.

Bakery with a super friendly owner who always has a kind word for everyone. Good products with many dark breads and a wide variety of pastries. Not always cheap (pain au chocolat 2.70), but the quality justifies it.
