I discovered this little bakery, which has a lot of charm and a very warm welcome, during a little tea with a friend and I really enjoyed it! I was also able to taste their bread and it was delicious!

We came this afternoon, we wanted to eat a dish, the waitress told us to look in the window, unfortunately there was 1 sofa and three pâtés left. Why didn't she want to serve us a cooked meal when she served customers who came after us. Damage

The staff is really attentive and welcoming, the owner communicates her good humor, and the typical wooded setting adds to the charm of this remarkable brand. Absolutely recommended! And if you're looking for a daily lunch special, they have a suggestion every day for a really good value for money.

Very good bakery, The welcome and service were excellent.

A pleasant and warm atmosphere. The staff very welcoming. The breakfast formula was rich with a variety of local jams, great apricot juice but everything was sweet, no savory options like cheese or egg. The wholemeal balloon bread was the freshest.

Because of the many positive comments, instead of having breakfast at the hotel, we went to have it in this pastry shop which, at first glance, seemed excellent. This Saturday there was a breakfast platter for 10 CHF. While waiting, we also ordered a small rum baba and two sweet treats. After a relatively long wait, after seeing people who arrived after us being served before us, our trays arrived. Nothing exceptional in the presentation or in the unfriendly service, this could have been made up for by the quality of the products. The croissant and the bread ball were stale. I stood up to remark: “No, sir, the croissants are fresh, everyone has the same ones.” While grumbling, the person in charge replaced them with a milk roll and another croissant. The milk bread, although fresh, resembled the milk bread from the neighboring supermarket and the croissant only slightly less dry than the previous one. Apparently, the pastries are not made on site and we have, I hope, fallen on a bad day. On the other hand, the baba is exceptional and the sweets are first rate. In summary, excellent pastry, bakery and poor service.

Too bad...the croissants and bread we were served for breakfast were either stale or just plain bad. Apart from the smiling person who brings the breakfast tray, the two other waitresses are very unfriendly. We first sat at the only free table, for four people. A little later, a table for two became available, and a group of 4 people entered. We got up so that they could sit at our table, under the eyes of the staff: not a smile, not a thank you from them. In addition, we were served after several customers arrived after us… In short, a disappointing and unpleasant experience. Only positive point: the pastries (petits fours) are delicious, but do not compensate for the lack of friendliness.

Opens early and serves some great pasties and quiche. Coffee is excellent, highly recommend this place to start your morning and the ladies who work there are super friendly…even though my French is terrible 😄

We ordered a fruit cake for 15 people, it was really delicious and ordered on Saturday at the end of the day for Sunday!

I love this bakery. The suggestions are excellent and so is the rest 😋 the staff is super friendly. We are always welcomed with a smile and a friendly word. It’s simple, I feel at home there 😊 I highly recommend the Octodure Tramway.

I called to find out what price this cafe had for a sugar paste cake. I called 4 times over a month to get news. The last time I called the manager of this place clearly told me "Anyway you are calling for a cake that is supposed to be made for the month of December I don't see why you are in a hurry and also you are asking me a cake for 15 people but because of COVID you can't be more than 15" to which I replied "If there are 10 or more of us it's our concern not yours I'm a customer who asks you for a cake you don't "Don't interfere in my private life." I was left with a very bad impression of this place and therefore for me I will never recommend it to my loved ones. Madame Gâteau is much more professional!!!!!

Coffee from a machine?!?!?!? Pastries and bakery goods are super fresh, but coffee is almost ‘instant coffee’ quality level. Comes from a machine, and is in powder form... not fresh brewed. It’s what you’d expect to find in an airline lounge, basically dispenser coffee.... not fresh brewed.

I went there today for dinner with one of my colleagues. I ate a Grimentz Pan (cornettes, cheese, ham and mushrooms, all au gratin.) It was very good! This establishment is worth the detour! Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos.
