Not welcoming service We were put in a table with strangers without even a small space and the waiter left without asking us if it was okay with us.

After having reserved a table for 1 month. Midday meal on a really low-end plate, soft fries and bathed in Café de Paris butter. Rude waiter. I won't be caught again. How can you keep staff who are so disrespectful to our elders.

We made a reservation at 8:00 p.m. for 18 people in the basement. More than an hour before being served. We ate a Chinese fondue without any flavor, greasy and very dark fries. Cold broth, we had to ask boil it because the meat wouldn't cook. They put the salad bowls on us without plates, and get on with it! Too familiarity of the waiters, hasty service, Forced to eat quickly, and no more possibilities of having dessert, except in a hurry (because the kitchen closes at 10:00 p.m.) Total rubbish! Questionable hygiene. Very high price. To avoid

Good meal served correctly in quantities and good. The rooms were full, obviously a lot of senior regulars, which is a good sign. Swiss prices, a little expensive for a French person but within the range for a local. Clean toilets, brasserie atmosphere, I would recommend without any worries and I would come back.

Very nice and warm place, we were very well received by the staff ✨ The fondue was excellent, we were satisfied without having too much!

For a family meal, we reserved a table + mussels and fries. 30 minutes of waiting for the table and the mussels and fries… there’s more… We were told “bad luck” and not even offered the youngest child’s syrup as a gesture. We'll go somewhere else next time.

Beautiful, friendly and dynamic staff environment

The atmosphere and staff are pleasant. We ordered a fondue. Bread only as an accompaniment and cheese with a lot of white wine so very unpleasant. We didn't finish considering the taste of the wine was too strong. What a shame.

We arrive at 7 p.m. in this large empty restaurant, we sigh while asking ourselves if we have reservations then we are put at the worst table with a draft in front of the front door, non-negotiable. The time before the waiter spoke badly to us. This feeling of... disturbing. Never again.

A restaurant that perfectly fulfills its role as a brasserie. Always open, professional service inspired by the hotel school. The dishes are generous and well made. We can always find fault, but quite honestly given the volume and schedule of this brewery we can congratulate the consistency. Beautiful brasserie atmosphere, good dishes, top service, always there to help, a real sure value which has become a real institution in Carouge.

A little “nice” anecdote that happened to us today at Brasserie La Bourse: Carouge Vogue Day, it’s around 3 p.m., we want to have a drink on the terrace. We head towards La Bourse and ask if it is possible to have a drink (6 people). The waiter replied: “look with my colleague”. His colleague heard and quickly found us a table. Once installed, we waited a good 10 minutes and no one came to take our order. It’s Sunday, we’re not particularly in a hurry. We still started making signs several times, called the waiter (the same one from the beginning) several times and the latter pretended not to see us and walked past us, ignoring us. After 25 minutes of waiting, I turn around and ask the waiter if we can place our order. To which he replied with a condescending air: “yes you can… not to me… but you can”. We ask “who then?!”. He doesn't answer us and goes back inside the restaurant. I had already been told that La Bourse was not the best restaurant in terms of hospitality, and well we had the experience 😅 Never again.

The restaurant offers a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The service is prompt, efficient and friendly. I had the menu du jour; fish tartare followed by a grilled fish and desert. All three courses were nicely presented and satisfying. Many of the patrons were elegantly dressed and the overall vibe was very pleasant.

Sunday, July 30, arrival at 1:33 p.m. at the restaurant to eat with the family, the restaurant closes at 2:30 p.m., so plenty of time to accommodate 3 people with dignity. Race results: - instead of greeting us, the blonde bobbed waitress in her fifties looks at her watch and says ok ok, hurry up, the kitchen closes soon! - foie gras at 25.- of a ridiculous thickness that no adjective can illustrate. - no bread served - no sauce in the carpaccio arugula salad - refusal of many customers including many foreigners before the closing time of the restaurant - lack of class, professionalism and questionable humor (fortunately we are here to make up for cooking mistakes, a waiter told me) - ice cream thrown on my daughter's table - Addition of 130.- Lamentable not to be repeated

The fondues were very good. However, the service is deplorable with non-existent friendliness. Avoid urgently.

Run away !!! Rude staff, 6 perch fillets on the plate, without any taste and bathed in an astronomical quantity of butter! It’s changed a lot!!

You cannot miss this restaurant as it is just beside the fountain. Popular restaurant, and it was crowded during dinner time. Food was above average.

We went on the recommendation of the guy from the hotel where we were staying and the truth is, we went with doubts, since we wanted to eat fondue and we doubted that they would do it, but if they do, although it is not on the menu and it is delicious, the service was phenomenal, when leaving They said goodbye to us with chocolates, if we can we will return.

Really, disappointed I went to eat on Saturday January 28, the quality of service was disappointing. As for a mediocre meal, it is not allowed to serve a slice of foie gras with a rubbery defrosted brioche.

I had lunch there yesterday, January 31, average bone marrow when cooked, but the perch fillets were rubbery and inedible. I asked the waiter to pass the message to the kitchen. No excuses, no returns when paying. Very bad experience which will not be repeated.

I will never come back to this restaurant again. My friend ordered a veal escalope for 45.- inedible but still ate 3 pieces. The waiter apologized and told us they would no longer offer it on the menu. When the bill was added, the schnitzel was there for the total amount. I find it scandalous.

Despite it's a good place usually I was surprised by the bad service and unpleasant waiter that had a running nose on top my plate! Dishes were ok.

We ordered 2 tartares as well as 2 zero cokes for the modest sum of 80.-. I would have been willing to pay that price for a real tartare but I think it's the worst I've eaten. The meat was of average quality and the taste was really not good. (no taste despite returning to the kitchen). Sorry, but you'll have to train your cook. It's impossible to discuss because there's so much noise and the frying is borderline disrespectful. So we'll never set foot again. Good luck to the next ones. Fortunately the coke did not disappoint me.

Impossible to understand a place like this. It has its closing time marked several times on the walls at 23:00, tried 2 days in a row to go to the restaurant at 22:10 and they always say it’s closed, just nonsensical.

Pleasant and fast service which is a plus when you are a little pressed for time that day! Vegetarian boletus risotto is very good, however the chicken on the Caesar salad is a little bland - it would have been great with fried breaded chicken.

A little disappointed with the cooking of the meat on my burger, I asked for it to be cooked to medium point but it remained relatively dry, I hope you will be more careful in the future.. It hurts a little to pay around 30.- for little pleasure in the mouth.

This evening we had a blast! The perch fillets were delicious, the sea bream was delicious and the lemon tart was wonderful. The wait was a little long because there were people, but the plates were generous. Reasonable prices, it's a pleasure.

Beautiful place to sit outside, the food was delicious too. But it's a shame that there's only one vegetarian dish - that's simply no longer up to date. The waiter was really annoyed that we wanted to pay separately - even though there were only three groups at a large table. That wasn't a nice ending either. Three stars for the good location and the quality of the food!

Nice terrace on the market square, excellent cuisine, friendly service, good value for money. My grilled sea bream fillet with wild garlic pesto was perfectly cooked and my guests with the chicken supreme were also decidedly satisfied.

Very decent dishes, qualitative although a little expensive, servers for the most part friendly, but remind the bleached blond waiter that if he learned to keep his mouth shut and not force his hand and show off to customers, he would have gotten his tip.

Indeed, the food is appreciable, refined but nevertheless remains classic (in the originality of the dishes I extend but in all cases good). 📜If you don't know what to choose, however, looking at the complete menu that you will discover, the staff will give you very good advice and for my part I recommend the large shrimps 🍤 for sea lovers or the entrecôte 🥩 for the meat eaters. I had a Viennese veal cutlet called elephant ear, but it must have been cut in half or it was a miniature elephant. Not very tasty and disappointing. Squid ink pasta also tasteless but The vegetables were good. My companion had 4 giant shrimps, including two small ones which were also bland and disappointing. Nothing more to do with the restaurant I knew a few years ago. The only thing that isn't disappointing is the bill.

I ordered a rib steak that I sent back twice and it was always rare! even though I asked for well cooked. I even cut it in front of him and he told me it was well cooked even though it was rare again! I wonder if it’s the waiter who doesn’t know how to write or if it’s the cook who doesn’t know how to do his job. If it continues like this I would prefer to buy a sandwich at Migros.

The quality/price ratio is not profitable for the customer but for the restaurant yes. However, in my opinion, everyone should be able to find something for themselves. Even if the plate is rather well stocked, the taste is not great, the service mediocre despite the speed of the dishes served. Plus it really felt like we were crowded on top of each other, I could clearly hear the neighbors talking. The server we had was really unprofessional, fortunately replaced by another one who was much more helpful and pleasant. I won't go back there. 84.85.- for so little, the benefit you make is clearly present but I didn't find what I was looking for. Good luck to those who go.

Excellent… Very good and very expensive! Eight small perch fillets on a plate for 35.- and white Toblerone mousse 9.- and a St.Pellegrino 6.- coffee and a ristretto. Total 85.- 🤯 but once again, it was very good! The least, minimal service, really not very welcoming this server!

I ate the dish of the day: Chinese fondue, fries and salad. I had a crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was excellent. The staff is friendly. I will come back to eat there!

Good, fast and efficient service. Quite a few choices on the menu, typically traditional brasserie dishes. And as is often the case in brasseries, a little noisy but it adds atmosphere.

Decent food at acceptable prices, but inattentive service (note that I’m not the kind that insists on service “with a smile”, just basic hospitality is enough).

The Christmas menu is average: the main course arrived dry. This had remained under the warmer for a long time. Big wine scam.

I arrived at midday, alone and without reservation. The man at reception tells me that there is no more room. At the same time, a couple enters and asks if there is room. The man checks in the computer and on site and finally finds them a table. All this, in front of me! It's inconceivable to have been treated like this because I was alone. It just doesn't happen! I really enjoyed myself at the Café du Marché just opposite. Delicious and great customer service!

Place to avoid, poultry supreme with morel sauce, dry meat, I'm still looking for the morel mushrooms which were reduced, dish cooked in advance and reheated in the oven before serving, very hot plate and barely put it in!!!

My god, what a disappointment for a Sunday lunch! Endless service and not the most pleasant. Hot plates because the dishes are reheated in the oven before being served, as evidenced by the sauces frozen on the plates. Dishes without flavor even though the descriptions were flattering. Damage.
