But: Miserable and careless preparation, the meat was burnt on the outside, raw and dry on the inside, the side dishes and sauces were cold - a shame about the beautiful meat! five of us had dinner, starting from the fact that here you should find the best meat and the best cooking, I can say that one dish was ruined by too much heat from the grill" meat burned in strips) the rest of the dishes were good and well done, service medium, they were unable to coordinate the courses. They got the bill wrong even though they offered a dessert because it was the last one.. Experience made ... closed.

Was at Lugano for a few days in Jan and came across this great restaurant. If you are a steak lover, this is a must go restaurant. Well grilled tender juicy steak, nice ambience with great wine selection and great company, what more can you ask for?. The steak portion was quite huge and minimum per serving is 200g. The sauce and side dish will need to be ordered separately. Although a bit pricey but worth the price and don’t forget to order the truffle fries and complete the meal with a dessert (recommend the cheese cake). Would like to come back here if I am back in Switzerland next time.

We met for a working lunch and the atmosphere is truly special, the whole place has unique and refined furnishings! The staff has the right tact to make you feel welcomed in the best way and capable of giving the best advice (small tip: ask for the particular meats of the day which are off the menu). All smoke, no fire. Excellent marketing strategies but unfortunately the quality/price ratio is extremely low. For a place that should specialize in meat we were disappointed, especially with the final bill. For the same price I would rather eat well in a luxury restaurant.

We recently had lunch at this location and were extremely satisfied with the quality of the food. The meat was delicious, cooked to perfection and definitely worth the price paid. Prices were average for the quality offered and for the area. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive to our needs, adding a touch of hospitality that made the evening even more enjoyable. The furnishings of the rooms were rather simple, reflecting the spirit of the cuisine. Despite the spartan appearance, the environment was pleasant and welcoming, adding a certain charm to the context of the meal.

It was a pleasant lunch. All the meats are very good. Even the hamburger (meat on which many restaurateurs save money) was excellent Swiss beef, tasty and well cooked. Given the quality of the ingredients, everything was not filled with sauces but well balanced. The friendly and competent staff, the beautiful space: between elegant-modern and casual. I also recommend it because the price is definitely in line with what you would pay in other restaurants (and in many grottos) which perhaps don't even offer the same quality of food and above all service. I absolutely have to go back for dinner and try one of the menus!

We visited this restaurant yesterday. Two T-bone meat ordered 2 kg for 4 people. The meat was awful, unable to eat. We have asked for hot stone in order to cook it more, it did not helped us. Meat was cooked very bad or quality of meat was poor. We said this to staff and manager and no reaction. They came with reply to us: but every body is eating this meat. At the end they came with the bill 536 chf. The worst meat for such expensive prices. I will never come back.

We stopped by for a drink. The sad note was that for 2 aperol spritz you pay 19 Fr. but you get just water and ice.

My friend and I just left this restaurant on October 17th at 9.40pm, we are Brazilians and we like good meat and we understand well the frustration we had in this restaurant, a prejudice for both of us the poor service and the meat was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside the rice was hard and without salt we ate it all because we were very hungry we worked all day we didn't have time to eat so we went to look for an excellent restaurant without even paying attention to the price we just wanted to eat well in the end we paid 200 euros and we were nervous and completely dissatisfied

The service is exceptional! I read some poor reviews and was going to miss it, but the meats live upto the hype. The grill is so delicious,meat is perfectly cooked to medium as per our specification that no sauce or veggies were required. The manager and entire staff were so helpful, extremely courteous and will make us come back to Lugano for more.

Overall my experience was mediocre, albeit sufficient. The staff is professional, the quality of the meat is excellent but from a grill I expect impeccable cooking. I asked for rare but I received medium/rare. I sent it back twice but nothing, they couldn't bring it to me in blood... too bad.

Honestly the worst stake we have ever had. We ordered prime fillets and they were so chewy inside and burnt from outside that they were inedible. Then we have ordered some spaghetti for our little one and she could not eat it as it had no seasoning and was sour. I very rarely leave reviews but we paid so much money for our dinner and nothing but wine was good on our table - I just had to leave this review. Would have given a 0 star if I could. Waste of money.

Disappointing! I had asked for my Ribeye to be cooked rare and got it medium at best. Furthermore, the meat was tasteless. Not acceptable from a restaurant that prides itself to be all about meat. Service was average. For the quality of the food and the service prices are too high.

Hectic resti, quite a mess and more appearance than is. Meat platter for 2 people was really poor in quality. The meat was completely raw and the stone plate was cold after a few minutes. The meat was like rubber after a few minutes. The side dishes were also very lean. The visit is not remembered well.

It's a shame because the side dishes and the choice of wines are good. But in a place that has chosen to cook meat as the setting of the restaurant it must not happen.

More than negative experience. Dinner with friends, simple without too many pretensions if not given by the good reviews of friends. Poor and arrogant service from half the team. Hurry, noisy and abrupt gestures characterized table service. Dishes served incomplete that did not comply with what was described on the menu. Unacceptable! Not having finished the dish we asked to take it away to avoid waste. We were told "of course" and 1 minute after it was taken away it was thrown away! Made available to do it again, however, a reduced and burnt portion was delivered to us. Given how the restaurant sells and what it costs, it was a real disappointment. Rejected.

Great experience! In the center of Lugano, I recommend parking at a distance and proceeding on foot. I had lunch with two colleagues. Starter, main course and dessert. Nice, stylish location, I really liked it. Polite, friendly and professional welcome. Excellent food and costs appropriate to the services offered. Obviously the meats are their strong point. Ok for debit and credit cards. Ok for disabled people and wheelchairs. I'll gladly return. Highly recommended

I booked lunch time for 6 people for 7.30pm, around 4.00pm I called again to move the booking since we wouldn't be able to arrive at the scheduled time. I was given an unkind response. Two of us went for an aperitif in the Wine Bar next door (which belongs to their chain) and when they all arrived we moved to the Restaurant. We all ordered raw meat as a starter and different cuts of meat as a main course. The next day all 6 of us felt sick and spent the day in the bathroom. To be fair, I called the restaurant to report the issue, because it can happen and at least they were aware of it. From "Nico" I was told that it was impossible that it was because of their meat and that "we were certainly having an aperitif somewhere else". The place is very nice, and during dinner we were served well, it's a shame for what happened and above all for the answers we were given.

Nice, spacious and welcoming place inside, during the summer months tables are available on the square away from traffic. Good food and friendly staff, you can see the attention they have for the customer and the expertise in the sale and preparation of the meat, strictly Swiss! However, I was expecting to find fresh slices of meat in the salad with the turkey, not cold cuts.

Good food but bad waiters. Too nagging, we didn't even finish eating because maybe there was still something missing on the plate and they immediately started, while my friends at the table were still eating, asking if we were finished and even taking the plate while we were finished. We had to say twice that we were still eating and within 10 minutes they came more than 3 times to remove the plate that we gave to him out of exhaustion. Too nagging

Given the menu on offer, even before tasting you know you are in a place where you are dealing with people who know meat VERY, very well. The service was impeccable to say the least, kindness and courtesy even though I was anything but in evening clothes (alas), personal choice of piece of meat, exquisite Tomahawk, french fries with cheddar and bacon (which together with the tomahawk is a bit of a I will be accused of blasphemy, but they were all there and they were truly of a superior level), as well as a wide range of starters and other little gems for which I will definitely return, in the heart of Lugano in the rain, I no longer knew how to distinguish it from crocodile tears on the way home. Excellent place, hope to return soon
