The beers are excellent and all those composed of different aromas are very well balanced. There is something for all tastes, moods, seasonal desires etc... It's a shame that the draft that you drink on site after a purchase of 100.- is not offered...

Excellent beer, very reasonable price. A REAL craft brewery and not one in name only. A young couple took over 2 or 3 years ago. They are full of ideas and very friendly. Go buy, encourage and support this small family business.

Brasserie Artisanale Broyarde, or BAB, is a small brewery located in the city of Payerne. There are a few nearby city parking lots. In this area is a train station and plenty of restaurants and cafes, which are good options since the brewery does not serve food. The BAB bottled beer is available at several local establishments, and indeed the cafe just next door features one of their beers on tap and a couple in bottles. This is a good option in case the brewery tasting room is closed. In fact, if you intend to visit the brewery, I recommend calling first since they seem to keep unreliable hours. The brewery occupies a short two-story concrete building with black trim and white doors, and has a flat roof. On the side are multiple black signs for the brewery featuring their white castle logo and yellow script B’s. Inside is a tasting room with a couple small circular high top tables and a walkup wooden service bar. They typically carry their three flagship beers and occasional seasons for sale. The brewing equipment can be seen in the room behind the bar, and also partly through the windows on the side of the building. They have short stainless steel brewing vessels, small stainless steel fermenters, and a small circular bottle filling station. It is not a large operation, and the brewery is cluttered with brewing supplies and beer memorabilia. Their beer is good, and I especially enjoyed their relatively strong (7.5%) 15-30 Ambree.
