Ordered: - Verkehrshausburger & fries - Monthly beer (*beer love) Conclusion: - The burger is definitely one of the best I've had in Swiss gastronomy so far. Clear 5 stars. - The fries were to my taste and therefore completely fine. - The beer was a Tonnebiere Inda Pale Ale from St. Ursanne. Top! Prices are okay. The quality (burgers) is top.

The man who seemed to be the manager was so rude... it was baffling. Service is not great but the waiters are busy. The food is average, but the burger was really good.

Food was very bad prepared and low quality of products. Service just ok, doing their job as they can. Location is very good and place itself looks good.

Excellent welcome for our family of 4 including 2 young children! Very well received, very attentive waiter, good food. Pleasantly surprised for a place where there is so much traffic. I recommend, we had a great time!

Great restaurant, despite the restaurant being full, great service and very fine food. We ate bowl and roasted bratwurst.

We waited 45 minutes before being served, they got 2 dishes out of 5 wrong. The rice was very salty. The vegetables on top of the flammenkuchen were raw.

The brasserie in the Lucerne Museum of Transport really impressed me. The burgers were incredibly tasty, juicy and perfectly prepared. The service was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and first class service.

We spoiled our stomachs - never again. I visited here with two children in March 2023 and we ate French fries with chicken nuggets later in the afternoon. The food tasted like old, rancid fat and I considered rejecting it. Unfortunately, we ate the food that tasted bad and the next day we all had stomach problems. We reported this to the Museum of Transport and the samples taken from that day were examined in the laboratory. Since the samples examined were unremarkable, the catering department at the Museum of Transport denied any connection between our complaints and the rancid food - how practical. We will never come here again.

We received a very warm welcome, the table was as requested when we reserved it. Both the starter and the main course (The Burger-Verkehrshaus) were, as on our previous visits, super good. Burger with fries (27 chf) You can expect a lot more for the price. Eat only lukewarm. Buns burnt and soggy. Fries just lukewarm, not seasoned and soggy. Once and never again. Next time again in one of the big fastfoot chains. It's better and cheaper there.

Very friendly staff. Rösti unfortunately oversalted and not crispy. A pity. Tarte flambée is good for that.

Yesterday, after an afternoon at the Museum of Transport, I went to the brasserie to pick up a quick meal. I was there with my two tired little children and the service staff was very accommodating. My youngest accidentally caught her hand in the automatic sliding door because she grabbed the glass when the door opened and it pulled her hand in with it. This can happen with any automatic door. The staff was incredibly helpful and immediately brought me ice in a bag with a cloth wrapped around it. When they saw that it was bleeding a little, they also brought a plaster! I didn't try the food myself, but my girls loved it! What I was happy about was that the chicken nuggets were made from real meat and not some kind of sausage meat or something. Thank you very much again to the great staff and for the seemingly delicious food! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

We treated ourselves to a small snack at 2 p.m. after the walk from the train station to the Museum of Transport. The service was very accommodating (e.g. with free tap water with the wine) and friendly. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our delicious food and great wine!

Fischkkusperli were ok. However, the service left me with a largely unmotivated impression, the French fries were too salty and I'm just not a fan of flavor enhancers. There would have been room for something green on the plate, there would have been room for a tomato - so naked I found it quite unloving - even for the price.

Very friendly allocation of space outside with a view of the park and the lake. We enjoy a delicious pasta dish 👌🏼 The way to the toilet for my 81-year-old mother is described carefully and in an appropriate manner (escalator). Thank you for the quality and the richness of quality of life!

The food was very tasty and the service went smoothly. Price-performance was ok, and the location was okay too. Toilet was a little too far away.

Sunday lunchtime. It happens very quickly, which is definitely a positive thing. Fries soggy. Pasta dried cold in the buffet. Salad buffet rich and tasty. Enough for a quick snack without any special taste requirements

Everything was fine until...we wanted to pay... We were 6 people, the amount was 242.50 The lady asked us if we should do it through 6, we answered no, we would like to pay individually... She left us the bill and said "I'll come back when you've done the math." That deducted...a point from you. A pity...!!! It was a young lady with long, red hair. Maybe..you could talk to her!!!

The brasserie is very good and can be recommended. The staff very friendly. Salads, soups, menus and desserts good. The taste of the meat was also very good. Unfortunately a little too dry/tough. But the birthday cake cost the two stars and was only served after we had paid, when we were about to leave and go to the Museum of Transport🥴

Good catering options in the Museum of Transport. Lots of tables, outside area available. Food is good for a self-service restaurant with these masses that need to be cooked.

2 Vegetarians, we were with our 3 children. Pleasant staff. Children's dishes value + quality =! cheap price. Homemade cooking.

Arrived too early for a seminar in the conference center and everything was closed. Waiting at the table in the entrance bistro with the cell phone in hand was bearable, at least because of the warmth. And then the people in charge of the restoration offer me a coffee! Because you're there anyway, according to the host! A gesture of hospitality that is no longer an everyday occurrence and that I really appreciate! Thank you very much!!!

Food was OK, not much choice for children. Unfortunately it is very expensive! I paid more for 2 portions of crispy fish, 1 tarte flambée and a bratwurst (not such large portions) than for the entire entrance fee, and that is already expensive. But the service was very friendly

Had reserved a table for 5 people. When we arrived at the time the table still needed to be prepared. The reason was that we didn't know whether we wanted to eat outside or inside. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. In my opinion the portions are too small, a handful of fries, four fish crispy. I had a burger that was still raw inside. When asked about it, the service staff said: "It's beef and doesn't need to be cooked through." Hello! This is minced meat, which can have a significantly higher germ content after processing and therefore needs to be fried! The staff would have to be trained. The positive thing was that we got water at the table straight away. The staff was always friendly, the view of the park was nice, the salads were freshly prepared. There are two stars for that... but no more

I quickly grabbed a packaged ice cream and realized that it had been defrosted and refrozen (⚠️). Always be careful with packaged ice cream, especially if the cone is strangely soft, despite having been in the freezer. You will save yourself unnecessary stomach aches…

Menu changed at 14:00 which meant that we couldn't get the things we saw at their online menu. Food was okay.

Food good, but prices massively too high!

The positive thing is that the bad food comes in small portions. If I remember correctly, chicken nuggets and fries cost CHF 17. The portion is not enough for adults. On the sandwich for CHF 7.90 you will find 1(!) slice of ham. But the reputation seems to precede the restaurant. So you're sure to always find a place. There is a star for that.

If you want to enjoy a little holiday feeling in a well-kept, cozy garden restaurant with a wonderful view of the park and the lake, then the brasserie of the Lucerne Museum of Transport is the right address. We enjoyed that today and were warmly served by Jeannette Christoffel with a fine glass of wine and a small snack. We will be back.

Very nice place. Simple and good food.

An absolute must if you have children with a wide range of interests. The Museum of Transport is so big that you should be there in the morning. It is also interesting for adults and very versatile. The old railways and the Swissair plane are really great.

Food is quite a small portion for the price...bad air...and only whining children...I recommend something else for a leisurely lunch.

Price/performance leaves a lot to be desired, Coup Denmark, 2 small ice cream balls and a little chocolate sauce, the portion was significantly smaller than the children's/hariboo Coup with more ice cream, but 1/2 as expensive? Thank you, probably won't see you again.

Nice place. But with Kids it's better to go to the self service restaurant. Also, this is accessible without paying entry to the museum.

We arrived at the museum hungry and saw the Brasserie. Our whole family really enjoyed the design concept which is warm and welcoming; the food was wonderful, very affordable, but very well presented and delicious; the service was fantastic! Everyone very kind and took a great care of us and our little boy. My parents who came from abroad to visit really enjoyed their experience and food and the service and even some view over the lake. Would love to come back here again!

I'm sorry, there's no other way. Unfortunately! Hygiene: the tables are cleaned with the same protective cloth. Paper and disinfectant would be better. This is how you transfer all the dirt from one table to the next. To put it this way, simply creepy. The service, slow and not coordinated. Please modify. I will report the hygiene observations to the BAG. Thanks.

The service was very nice and accommodating! The food was beautifully presented and was very tasty - a relaxing lunch break on an intensive museum day!

Good food, quick and uncomplicated service, the Hungarian waitress was especially nice.

5 stars to the loving service, but we and our food were forgotten and we had to eat raw meat afterwards because it was prepared too quickly. The fries were also fried in oil for too long and the burger was bloody. That's really a pity. We went home disappointed with stomach aches

Nice restaurant. The waitresses were all nice and accommodating. Big compliments to the kitchen. The eye eats and everything was perfectly presented and prepared with love.
