Very good service- attentive, kind. Put attention to the comments for the booking and prepared requested setup for the dinner. Atmosphere is relaxing and calm, cozy. Food is good, but nothing special, some courses are even too simple vs its positioning. Overall- good place for special event or cozy dinner! Pet friendly!

A birthday lunch with the team. Nice aperitif in the Baar, sharing lunch inside in the great atmosphere and then coffee in the sunshine with a view of the lake basin. A wonderful location, great service that makes everything possible and beautiful, fine food: thank you!

Nice location, especially with a window seat. We thought live jazz from the bar next door was cool (although quite loud). Service friendly and tried hard, but obviously too few staff and no chef de service with enough overview. Drinks delicious. Food ok, but rather bland, and: 2 out of 3 had stomach pains that night - not a good sign. There's still room for improvement!

Highly professional staff with very good food. However, you have to be a fan of loud music because of the bar. The live music is great. 😃

A bit disappointed in the Moules as they were dry and the frites were cold. They said they were busy but there were many empty tables. Atmosphere was nice.

The service was nice, rather inexperienced. The moules were beautifully presented, tasted really good, but the broth and the moules were only lukewarm and some were undercooked. The Tarte Tatin was delicate.

The service was wonderful, all the employees were extremely friendly. It's been a long time since I've had such incredibly good service in Lucerne. The food (moules et frites) was delicious. Would like to visit the restaurant again for other dishes. Pleasant and very nice atmosphere. Is a very nice location. (Perhaps a detail and an subjective opinion, but the outfit of the employees in the restaurant also ensured a good interaction of the given experience.)

We had a fabulous evening at Brasserie Juliette, thank you to the team! Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to our table. Sebastian our waiter was polite and welcoming too. We ordered a bottle Prosecco to start followed by a bottle of an abundantly full body French wine which was decanted in a really elegant decanter...while we waited for our friend. The menu was refreshing and tantalizing - really enjoyed the 'Sharing Plates' approach. Flavour was excellent and portions was generous too. We ordered to start the Lobster Bisque and Scallops, followed by the Mussels in white and Entrecote to share among us three. Desert was the Chocolate Lava and Cheese Board. We had a good celebration of my wife's birthday and dinner with a friend we have not seen in 6 years! PS My only suggestion that would make it perfect is to have ''Duck Confit'' on the menu! The food, ambience and service was perfect...keep it up!

The Brasserie Juliette is located in a respected 5-star hotel in Lucerne. Unfortunately, the ambience speaks more than the kitchen can contain. The menu is interesting and special, compared to comparable local restaurants. Unfortunately the food was bland/boring and carelessly prepared. If you present an entrecôte with French fries and Café de Paris sauce without any decoration (e.g. some vegetables), it doesn't look very appealing in terms of color. Unfortunately, it also looks like a restaurant owned by a major distributor. It is best to serve sauced dishes such as moules on a soup plate rather than a flat plate in order to avoid any stains on clothes and placemats. No, this experience did not convince us. A pity!

Fabulous dinner! The seafood platter was excellent along with the fois gras and the lamb lettuce salad. Friendly and attentive service!

A great experience last night! Excellent cuisine! A warm welcome, an efficient and friendly team! A very special thank you to Elena, always caring!!!

We were warmly welcomed in a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly, but unfortunately understaffed. So we had to wait a long time (20 minutes) before we could order the aperitif and it took another long time until it was served. The food was okay, but there was a mishap with dessert. Instead of three desserts, we only got one. So we had to watch each other eat and we couldn't enjoy the coffee with dessert. The repeat order, for which we again had to wait a long time, was probably in the kitchen for a long time. The ice cream was already quite runny. The brownies were also significantly smaller than the first plate. We found that the dessert was a bit clumsy, without any decoration (mint leaf or similar), which we thought was a real shame for a place like this. All in all, first and last impressions are very important and unfortunately they were both a bit disappointing for us...

Dear brasserie team When we made the reservation we were already looking forward to the mules and frites à discretion. Unfortunately, the evening afterwards didn't go as planned. We were greeted politely, seated and asked about the food. The aperitif and the starters (goose liver terrine and beef tartare) were excellent😍. Then the misfortune began. We were served mussels that were intended for another table while we still had half of our starters in front of us. Most of our 4 portions of mussels, which we ate as a couple, were tough, leathery, sandy and probably neither very fresh nor washed (we found a large stone and a water snail in the mussels). The fries, all the drinks, the dessert and the service at the end were great. The service left something to be desired from the aperitif to the end of the main course, despite there being enough staff for the number of guests. Unfortunately, the price was disproportionate to the service and quality that was offered tonight. We would be happy to be surprised by your skills another time.

Unfortunately my experience at the restaurant was disappointing. The food left a lot to be desired, in particular the duck liver was stringy and the mussels had a strong fishy flavor. A colleague described the meat as being like the sole of a shoe, which was particularly unfortunate because it was a pity for the animal. These culinary mishaps marred my culinary experience considerably. In addition, the staff was extremely unfriendly and unaccommodating. We didn't feel welcome and felt the need to leave the restaurant as quickly as possible. Overall, the visit to the restaurant was a disappointing and not very pleasant experience

The food - a seafood platter - was from the previous day. The scallops tasted like nothing. We ordered fried potatoes and got potato wedges!

Food and service was amazing. Great entrecote, great lobster, nice wine in a relaxed setting with lake view.

Nice Service and Delicious Food, my kid want sausage, so they give him a sausage/fries special plate, appreciate!

Entrecôte, lobster soup and Bœf Bourgignon tasted very good. I wouldn't order Coq au vin again because it wasn't spicy enough for me.

Lifestyle in the Brasserie Juliette We had an excellent evening at the Hotel National, Dariane & Patrick treated us to a sensational dinner. There was one culinary highlight after another, sensational starters, moules et frites & double entrecôte. The kitchen has your job under control. The range of wines also leaves nothing to be desired; whoever puts together the wine list really has something to offer. We will be back.

A very pleasant moment, warm service, fine and tasty cuisine.

Even though only half of the tables were occupied, we had to endure long waits between courses. This was probably less due to the dedicated service staff than to the overwhelmed kitchen. Reason: a lot of room service orders!?! The wine we ordered was only served when we asked again. The extremely friendly service staff apologized at the end for the long waiting times. Due to the quality of the food and the exceptional ambience, we will definitely give the restaurant another change - but then the service will have to work.

Service very friendly and attentive. Ambience beautiful. Unfortunately, the food cannot keep up with the good service and the beautiful room. Food almost not seasoned, hardly any salt, meat sometimes very tough, risotto really catastrophic even though the first plates were returned. There was no serving cutlery, which always has to be provided with the sharing concept. Dessert very good. Nevertheless, we had a very nice evening.

Unfortunately the food is not at the level of a 5 star hotel. Frozen scallops, fish was fried very dry, long waiting times. Service was very attentive and friendly.

Excellent ambience, although we would have liked to have seen the lake despite the Christmas decorations ;-). The food was wonderful, only adding the fries to the entrecote with the sauce was a shame as the fries became soft. There was also no description of the cheese on the truffle fries; we would have ordered them without cheese. The service was very courteous and quick. The only thing that was missing was when we had the food on the table, a brief glance that would have answered our questions, but that is also a minimal drawback considering the many guests. All in all we enjoyed it immensely, I will be back soon! Thank you very much Bradderie Juliette team!

I was. very disappointed. My husband's birthday. Nothing came of my request to surprise my partner. despite ordering dessert. Excuse me. Nobody will ever take me there.

We enjoyed breakfast on Sunday morning. Until 11 a.m. it is possible for external guests to order breakfast, either à la carte or from the buffet CHF 39.- / person including hot drinks. The quality of the food was excellent! Egg dishes were freshly prepared to order in the kitchen (included). Freshly squeezed fruit juices and even Prosecco rounded off the experience. The service was very courteous and friendly. The ambience in this historic house is unique - with a view of the lake. We will happily use this breakfast offer again. Thanks!

Unfortunately the kitchen could not meet our expectations. Both meat courses were al dente. Café de Paris tasted dominance of cloves. The service slow. Risotto and giant prawns were good. Service staff told us jokes that would be more appropriate in a Bear / Angel or Eagle restaurant, but not in a restaurant that offers high standards

What a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel National! First we were able to enjoy an aperitif in the bar with these beautiful piano sounds before we had our dinner in the restaurant. The terrace was beautiful in summer, but Juliette also exudes wonderful vibes in winter. Keep it up, dear Juliette team!

The à la carte restaurant in The beautiful Hotel National has undergone a new concept. Juliette Sharing Brasserie is the name and we absolutely loved it. In the classic old fashion style, the hotel bar is probably one of the most beautiful bars in the world. In terms of cuisine, we are based on classic French cuisine and culture. But last night we were really excited about the new concept. Traditionally, we usually order several courses and with this concept, ordering different dishes and sharing them is in our spirit. Yesterday Friday evening the restaurant was fully booked. Caring for guests is very important here. A huge compliment goes to the Chef de Service Patrick. Professional demeanor, knows his job, has an overview and knows exactly when a dialogue with the guest is appropriate. His very friendly nature rubs off on the entire team and the wonderful atmosphere is characterized by the cheerfulness, know-how and stress-free behavior of all specialists. It was incredible, I've never been to a restaurant like this in Switzerland. I'm shocked at what I didn't know before. I've lived in Lucerne since I was a child. The food was incredible, every piece of meat exceeded my expectations and the side dishes were also excellent. The staff was inhumanly friendly but not in a fake way, they were really like that... 5 stars are actually not enough for the rating. Will definitely come again and again!!!

We ordered salmon but it wasn’t cooked so we didn’t eat it and requested to return it. I was shocked that the waiter dyisrespectly asked us to pay for it even when we did not eat it. I have been to luxurious restaurants all over the world but never been poorly treated like this.

The food is very tasty, everything fits together. The sharing plate is a must! You don't have to share if you don't want to. "Juliette" is what we needed! The terrace is beautiful and cozy, finally someone has thought about it and furnished it stylishly. Next summer is coming!

The main course was only served after 1h45. The Entrecote Cafe de Paris was cold and tough.

We received such a warm welcome and service, even after the third time this summer, the young and very professional team works with attention to detail. Their friendly, poppy demeanor just invites you to come and visit them.

One of the most beautiful places on the lake in Lucerne with a young, well-organized team. The idea is to share the dishes, like a tavolata. The dishes can also be consumed individually as a starter or main course. Fair prices round off the experience! I will gladly come again!

A new “sharing” concept for a French brasserie,… what more could you ask for! Being able to taste lots of revisited classic dishes is a real pleasure. The dishes are excellent and made on site (outdoor kitchen), welcoming and professional service, a fiery atmosphere (even with a DJ on Thursdays until 9:00 p.m.).

Nice, attentive service, nice ambience and excellent dishes: the fact that you can order these in sharing size is a big advantage; Whether you order to share or just for yourself: the number of dishes to be enjoyed is larger than with a single "full-size" main course. The food here is fantastic and well worth booking. The atmosphere is super pleasant and the view of the lake during my lunch took my experience to another level. This is the third time I've been to the restaurant and the service team is always very friendly and attentive! Dishes always arrive quickly and the food is simply delicious. It’s impossible to visit Brasserie Juliette just once!

We have been to Brasserie Juliette twice now and are very satisfied each time. The menu consists of seasonal dishes and the sharing dishes in particular are very lovingly prepared and deliciously seasoned. The service staff makes a very good impression, they are very courteous, friendly and well trained, making your stay a great experience every time. The most beautiful terrace in Lucerne! The ambience and the pleasant atmosphere right on the lake invite you to linger and the food was delicious. The waitress gave us great suggestions about the sharing concept and served us very friendly and attentively throughout the evening 😊 Juliette’s beef tartare, the delicious entrecôte from the grill “Café de Paris” and the green asparagus with fried potatoes are particularly recommended. I will be very happy to come back!

It’s nice location and good food but the restaurant still fails in the 21st century to understand that there are 65% of the population who are NON Smokers but yet they just can’t create an non smoking environment and spilt the space into two sections -

The ambience on the lake promenade - Lucerne's most beautiful location - is hard to beat! There are few comparable tables with such a view of Lake Lucerne and the shipping scenery! On the terrace you feel like you are in a French brasserie in the middle of Paris, the staging is wonderfully successful. What was positive was the pleasant space between the tables. Our dishes were perfectly prepared and also impressed us in terms of taste. The service was very courteous and friendly. A visit is highly recommended!
