Ordered 3 different pizzas for the first time, absolutely amazing, not to be compared with the ready-made pizzas in the large distributor! Again and again! Plus sustainable packaging.

Well sorted, friendly staff. Since I have already visited a variety of breweries, I could suggest perhaps only deducting a portion of the price of the tasting when making purchases, compared to other places on the upper price limit.

Amazing place for beer tasting! Price is cheap (12 CHF pp) and you get to taste about 7 beers, from wheat to IPA to refreshing ciders and even whiskies and vinegars! Totally worth it! They also do a really great job at turning the beer making leftovers into food, crips and it tastes amazing! Great place to stop!

Actually a successful place and nice shop. As always, when we are in Appenzell, we wanted to go and post the single malt there. Since it was very hot, we took our dog with us (in my wife's arms). So no contact with anything. Were then turned away from the store at the checkout. It's a shame because the products were all very good. Yes, now I'll switch back to other manufacturers who are friendlier. Ps. Of course we didn't buy anything afterwards. Kind regards, Peter Hochreutener

I am a big Quöllfrisch fan, but this is a huge dissapointment. It should be called beer shop because that is exactly what it is. You go to brewery visitors center and there is nowhere to sit and have a beer. Except 1dl degustation glass for 2.50CHF Which you can have at the counter. Real shame.

A well-guided introduction to the world of beer brewing. Tasting with very competent explanations of different beers. The price for the very interesting event was more than reasonable at CHF 85 for us as a group of 6. The staff is highly motivated, people love their work here and as a visitor I felt the enthusiasm. Really recommended, we'll be back

Hikers be careful! Good beer and a well-stocked sale but unfortunately it doesn't live up to the "thirsty" claim. The tap is actually only served in tiny tasting glasses and there is no opportunity to sit down and linger. A pity!

The newly designed shop is a must for all beer and whiskey lovers. From fan articles to the entire beer collection to fine brandy, everything is available. You can now taste the beers at the bar and take a short tour of the bottling plant. Always worth a trip. Parking spaces directly in front of the house.

If you like beer you should come here quickly. A pleasure here

So far I have only had good experiences with the Locher brewery. If there was a problem with the delivery, immediate action was taken, no matter what, the replacement delivery was there quickly! And the fire extinguisher and the Appenzeller beer are delicious :)

I can only say positive things about the Locher Brewery: - Things always taste good - Packaging is incredibly beautiful. The packaging of CreaCeto (vinegar) is the most beautiful thing I have seen in a long time - the prices are reasonable - sustainability is a given I'm a big fan and always enjoy buying products =)

…and open on Sundays‼️ ...and the service was friendly on Sundays!! Gladly again - even if you don't drink beer🤗 The whiskey and liqueur selection is quite impressive🫶🏼

Beautiful shop, which I found very unfortunate, saleswomen were unmotivated and I had the feeling as a customer that I was almost a nuisance. A pity.

The brewery’s online shop is brilliant. The comprehensive range can be conveniently delivered to your home. Delivery usually follows the day after next and there is even a sampler like chips or beer included. In addition, the prices are the same as in retail stores and shipping is free for orders over 70.00.

Very good beers to buy, but the museum is closed due to Covid

I've already been there a few times and every time it's always a nice sight and a nice drink. Good beers and some quite particular. As if that wasn't enough, they now have a selection of some gins from the area and some whiskies, also from the area. Courteous, friendly and welcoming staff. On Saturday I bought a bottle of Föhn Sturm and a lighter, they gave me a bag of malt snacks, very good. To visit.

I ordered beer from the online store, (7) different pack varieties. The shipping was so easy, it came fast, and intact. With the excellent online service and access to way more variety-- I will only buy beer directly from their e-commerce store from now on! I highly recommend using the online service!

The Quöllfrosch was once really good, now it's just a headache beer, even from a little one. Accidentally bought the Quöllfrösch instead of Ittinger, simply inedible. The rest of the 6 pack ends up in the sink

What a wonderful experience! In spite of covid's worst efforts, we had a great experience. The staff were absolutely superb. Because degustation wasn't possible, we took small tasters ouside, came back in and bought the big 'uns. Money well spent. The two ladies in charge of the shop made us feel like family and we walked out with our purchases and a bunch of freebies. Like Arnie, I'll be back.

Uncomplicated and great customer service!

It was fantastic. We had a great beer and whiskey tasting with a lot of information and also a historical background. We recommend. The shop isn't overly expensive either.

The shop is rather small, but has a large selection of beers, T-shirts and other fan items. The staff was friendly. Large parking lot directly on site. A visit is recommended.

Fast delivery of the beer glasses!

Must see in Appenzell. The source of 99% of all soft drinks in the area; at least felt. A very nice exhibition portion accompanies the sale. This is where the source of the "Water of Life" in Switzerland, the Säntis Malt - Swiss whiskey, rises!

Corona management leaves a lot to be desired. The tour is not carried out, tasting only for groups of 10. Every museum manages to remain open, we did a tasting at the BFM two weeks ago. Hole punches don't seem to be necessary...

Unfortunately, wading doesn't drink beer. Just drove past, unfortunately.

The I dia Pale Ale is simply very, very undrinkable. you almost feel like vomiting. The “beer” has nothing to do with beer other than the bottle. not recommended! One star is already overrated...

The right shop for thirsty people.

Small exhibition store of this brewery, they do tastings starting in June. Nice and helpful staff, great variety of beers and merchandising.

I've been drinking Fäldschlössli for a long time, but I'm from the company at the grill and chilling with my hands and my boss says it's quöllfrisch. dear ufe first sip :). As the bearer of the name eugster where usem appizäll chunt but lives in the canton of Solothurn gez norno quöllfrisch. The beer tastes really good, no matter if you drink 6 cans, you wet Emmer no ice cream. perfect au zumene good mc chrystal snuff esch au emmer es quöllfrisch. Great beer and I hope it's worth the whole thing in Switzerland. I don't think there's anything fresh from the spring and I'd rather not drink any beer.

My absolute favorite when it comes to beer!

Open on Sundays!! Great and also a nice selection of brewed beers. There's even whiskey in a small corner. I would have loved to give you full marks but the prices were a bit high even on offer. Otherwise small and fine!

The “Brauquöll Appenzell” visitor center is beautifully designed with an audio tour. You learn a lot about the art of brewing beer itself and Appenzeller beer and Säntis Malt Whiskey in particular. During the beer tasting you can enjoy various beers from the brewery. Top!

Where are you going to drink an Appentzeller beer better than at the factory? They treated us very well, they have a gift shop where you will want to take everything with you.

Interesting visitor center for the source of Appenzeller beers. Small but interesting with an audio guide! Free entry to the visitor center. Nice beer and souvenir shop.

Very very high quality beers! Schwarzer Kristall is one of the best schwarz beer I've ever drunk!

It is free to visit and you can buy those extraordinary good beers straight from the brewery. If you are friends beers, it is totally worth of visit.

The Locher brewery welcomes guests in a very beautiful and interesting visitor center. You can get audio guides (headphones) there and the numbered items will be explained to you. There is also a nice film about the brewery told in the form of a fairy tale (legend). The brewery has many different types of beer in its range and that alone makes it worth visiting. Not to forget the whiskey trail with an interesting concept.

Great selection of great beers!

A brewery without a tasting room is a sad affair.
