My daughter just brought me a ham pretzel from the Brezelkönig. What a joy. Everything perfect! It was sooooo delicious!

Very friendly service and the cheese pretzel and cheese baguette we bought were still fresh at 9:30 p.m

The service in this shop is simply top notch every morning I go to this shop and get my espresso and I get a lye croissant and every time for two years I am very happy the employees are absolutely amazing the products are very nice and friendly They're always fresh. I'm generally very happy with this business. I hope he keeps it up

Very disappointed for the second time! Pretzel was hard and not fresh. The range has become smaller, as have the pretzels. There is no comparison to before. It's a shame but I won't do that to myself again.

I got a möstlibretzel that was so stale, it was crunchy. When you pay 8.40-. for a little sandwich, you'd expect to have something fresh at least.

Last week I was able to be surprised again by the new monthly hits and, as always, the staff helped me with questions and gave me options and recommendations depending on my taste! :) The staff is always friendly and the quality of the food is very good. I always like to stop at Brezelkönig again!

It often happened that the pretzels were rock hard.

Today, as I often do, I bought a hot dog with mustard. To my surprise, the bread was hard and absolutely not fresh, and there was practically no mustard in it. My hunger with anticipation was followed by frustration. I hope that was an exception. Apart from the rudeness of the seller. I must have had a bad day... I'm hoping for something better... or maybe better luck?

I order a sparkling water and a hot dog with mustard...it's pretty straightforward. What do I receive? ....a water without and a hot dog with ketchup.🤦🏻‍♂️ With so much incompetence, I'm not surprised that everyone is talking about a shortage of skilled workers.

I used to like to visit the Brezelkönig in the underpass. Over time, it became apparent that small pretzels were mostly 'sold out' and suddenly the price was raised. This is understandable in the current situation. But I find it incomprehensible that the staff hardly looks at the customers, doesn't apologize when half the product range is sold out and is generally not as friendly as it used to be. This afternoon several customers in front of me didn't receive what they actually wanted to buy. Small and large pretzels were sold out, tomato mozzarella bread was no longer available and the hot dog was ultimately cold and with chicken sausage because there was no other choice. I hope this improves soon and as you can see from the rest of the reviews, I'm not the only customer who notices changes.

I can also just join in. 1) The quality has decreased massively. (edibles) 2) coffee is OK 3) Service depending on who is there is OK but often actually unfriendly 4) Have you ever tried eating a butter pretzel that feels like it weighs 500g? incredible! 5) some older pretzels are processed, but they are distributed nicely with a system so that it is not always the case tomorrow is (guess) 6) In my opinion, employees wear clothes that don't fit, why are there no work clothes?? Trainer pants look dirty and unhygienic. 7) the broom in hand to clean up and not a second later the product is served... I don't even do that at home. Anyway, good luck with your “concept” I'm definitely not going anymore.

It's a huge disappointment, I was allowed to buy a chocolate pretzel for 3.60CHF (which is pretty cheeky). But honestly it wasn't worth it to me, it was dried out and hard as a rock.

The bread was dry (certainly from the day before) the veggie hot dog was spoiled (it tasted like that) and inedible. Never again. From now on only pretzel king dietikon the rest is a lack of quality.

Just take it the way it used to be... what a shame... and also a new app that really knows how it works...

The staff on Tuesday evening July 26th, 2022 was extremely unfriendly. The hot dog didn't ask whether it was pork or chicken. He handed the hot full of sauce into my hand. Simply an outrage!

The quality has decreased massively. I have the feeling that the pretzel and sandwich have become a lot smaller and only have half as much topping. But the prices keep rising. I was looking forward to my lunch today. In Zurich Oerlikon there is a gentleman who is simply the best, he does everything with love. I'm a regular customer too! But I was just a few minutes ago today, February 15th, at lunchtime at the Bretzelkönig in Winterthur train station getting my hot dog and it was so disappointing, the gentleman with the glasses is such an unfriendly service!!! Incredible!! I asked him if he could warm my bread a little. At first he didn't hear it. I want to believe. But when I asked for the second time he told me "we don't actually do that" I told him in Zurich I always get warm when I ask about it. And he said no not everywhere!! I told you!! The chicken wienerli wasn't quite warm either. It tasted like it was raw. I didn't dare go back because of that bad-tempered gentleman with the glasses. So my hot dog quickly went to waste. The name tag wasn't readable either! In the end I had the feeling that this gentleman was doing me a favor. I'll never be the pretzel king at Winterthur train station again!!

Especially in the morning there is a gentleman working who is very prompt and quick, which is an advantage when you have to get on the train. But he apparently already knows various orders from regular customers by heart. Very charming. Products have always had no complaints so far. I love the Pretzel King. However, an incident has now occurred several times with the same employee (short dark hair). 1st visit: I asked if they had the pretzel with cheese and pepperoncchini. Answer: No, we don't have that. I then asked if it was available at another retail location. Answer: No idea. -> Competence and knowledge about your own company? 2nd visit: I asked if I could have lots of cocktail sauce in my hot dog (I love the sauce). I even offered to pay extra for it. No Answer. Finally I got a hot dog with about 2 teaspoons of sauce, everything stuck to the bottom and the wiener was even cold. 3rd visit: I ordered a tomato mozzarella sandwich. The mozzarella was already dark yellow around the edges. So I immediately showed the sandwich to the employee and asked if I could have another one. She said no, I had already touched it. I'm sorry, but that's how they lose customers.

Brezelkönig Winterthur (both locations at the train station) is terrible. I love Brezelkönig. But the service (especially down at the train station) is TERRIBLE. Unfriendly and impersonal. You have the feeling of being a nuisance. I also don't understand the fact that they don't offer SALAMI ONLY pretzels but have pretzel bread with salami. When I asked her if she could make one for me, she said, "No... we don't stock it anymore." Turned around to chat with the other employee. How difficult can it be to take out the salami and put a bit of butter on it and do the customer a favor. The customer expects at least the minimum for the price. I will avoid Brezelkönig in the future and make sure that friends do the same. And it's not the first time. A pity. Very disappointed. Shame on you

Staff is very unfriendly. I think when you come as a customer you should receive a greeting or a hello and not just be addressed as (what do you want from me) and no thank you or goodbye. I think those who work at Brezelkönig in Winterthur should behave like the man in Bülach who is there in the morning. The service at the Brezelkönig next to the Coop is very unfriendly, especially the woman. If you order a normal hot dog then you get a sausage with a bread for a sandwich and not for a hot dog, the bread had something very ugly on it. Coffee is always okay and the price is very fair. An Indian/Pakistani woman and an Indian or Pakistani man are very friendly and extremely customer-oriented. Always receive a small tip👍. It's nice to see that the lady prepares the bread with gloves, removes the gloves when taking the money and puts them back on for further preparation. This Bretzelkönig is well located between tracks 4 and 5 on the platform. Good choice. 😋
