British Cheese Deli in Zürich

Staff is great and Christmas selection is superb! They also have a few non alcoholic beers and cider, as well as excellent cheese of course!

I personally don't think much of British cheese, apart from a few Blue ones, but there is Irn Bru! Service super friendly. (Yes, not the most helpful review I've written)

I love the British Cheese Deli Im Viadukt so when I learnt they're doing an online delivery service I was absolutely over the moon. I have now used them twice, ordering some of their delicious cheeses and stocking up on lots of their British goodies, and both times have been exceptional. Ordering and payment was easy, customer service was excellent, and delivery was super quick! Love this place!! Thank you for being awesome!

I went there for the first time recently to taste the oatcakes which remind me of a trip many years ago. I was well advised and also bought the blue cheese and onion jam that "go together". Excellent!

Once again for an aperitif at the Englishman's. A wonderfully cold beer and a piece of cheese...what could be nicer? It was a pleasure.

Excellent choice of products that aren't available in Switzerland and the sausages, bacon and black pudding are to die for ..........not literally!!!

Less craft beers now. New owner so has changed a lot. More UK expat food, biscuits etc. Still enjoy going when the right staff are on.

Helpful staff, great cheese and bacon was a bonus.

Now complete with a good range of British products not usually available in the supermarkets. Excellent cheeses (have a cheese board with a beer and find out!), great service and happy smiley faces.

I've been using the online shop for years, and both the cheeses and service are second to none. I hope Mike is able to keep going through the double whammy of Brexit and Covid-19 - he's so enthusiastic about British cheese, and this is a labour of love.

Best place in Zurich for British cheeses and a wide selection of British beers and ciders but the staff are the best reason to visit. They know their cheeses and beers as well as making a friendly atmosphere. Do try the YPA.

The best place in Zurich (probably in all of Switzerland) for UK cheese. Also always a very good beer selection. Mike the owner is always happy to help with the selection.

I went there on Wednesday at 17:00. There were only 2 other customers, yet i had to wait for 5 minutes at the bar for the lady to acknowledge me, as she was helping a child do her homework and couldnt care less about the bar. Bad service. I asked if i could try some cheese and she gave the thinnest, smallest, almost transparent cheese pieces I have ever seen. Not sure how i was supposed to taste anything. Will not be coming back. Specially when there is a cheese shop next to it, and i can get a beer 5 meters away. Disappointing.

Unfortunately, the scones were very dry and the clotted cream was certainly not cream but dry crumbs... a shame and 9 CHF for that... Never again...

Cool little nook at the market with great selection of British cheeses, two taps of British or local beer and a fridge of cans and bottles. Prices are amazing. Not a spot to miss, especially paired with British pies just two stands away at the same market

Great cheese as well as many other tasty treats (including a selection of fine cider).

Not only does Mike have a great selection of cheeses and assorted other delicacies from the British Isles, he also provides great service and cultivates a relaxed and casual atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

Lovely shop with excellent products, highly recommended ! Big fan of their Cheddar Cheese and craft beer selection. Also great to have a quick bite over lunch time.

Excellent little bar and cheese stand in the Markthalle. Very nice selection of British and British-style beers. Plus, they do a great cheese board that offers an excellent range of flavours. The staff are great for a chat. Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful find in a really cool neighborhood in Zurich. The proprietor is very knowledgeable about beer and his adjacent business, The British Cheese Centre, offers a terrific selection of U.K. cheeses from small producers. Markthalle is a relaxing place to have a nosh on an afternoon walk around the city. I would highly recommend British Beer Corner!
