Very fine schnitzel and cordon bleu restaurant. Super fine and special offers. Half a portion is enough if you still want dessert. Otherwise, give the meat home with you. 😁 The restaurant was full to the last seat, reservations recommended. Due to the many guests, the waiting time was longer.

We visited the Schnitzelhouse on October 14th, 2023 The restaurant was well attended. Luckily we have reservations. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I can only recommend it.

The food was great! The portions are very large, which is why not everyone can manage them. But you can take it home with you. The service was great! The only thing that bothered me were the mosquitoes and flies. They were everywhere, which wasn't so pleasant. Otherwise great!

My visit to the Schnitzelhouse was really an experience! The selection of dishes is surprisingly extensive and very different from the usual run-of-the-mill offerings found in many restaurants. Culinary diversity is very important here, and I really appreciated that. The service was extremely nice and helpful. You can tell that the team really tries to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, on the day I visited, the staff seemed a bit understaffed, which resulted in them seeming a little stressed and overwhelmed. This was unfortunate because it somewhat marred an otherwise positive experience. It's obvious that Schnitzelhouse puts a lot of attention to detail into its dishes. The presentation of the food was attractive and the taste exceeded my expectations. One small point of criticism, however, is the staffing level, which I think could be increased to reduce the stress factor and make the service even smoother. Nevertheless, I would like to visit the Schnitzelhouse again because the culinary offerings are simply unique. Thank you for your efforts and I hope you have the opportunity to strengthen the service team to pamper your guests even better.

You shouldn't go on a diet but it's delicious on the terrace, not really sitting well

as always - great! Tuesday 12.30 you eat at the bar because all the tables are occupied. By 11:57 every table was full. And you don't wait long. Impressive 🤩

The food, in our case the original Wiener Schnitzel, is perfect. The service was friendly but not present enough. Waiting time rather long. Ambiance outside would be ok. However, we were placed on the side, even without light in the evening. The chef deserves a lot of praise.

Food was very tasty. We made a reservation and waited 1.5 hours for the food. Guests who did not reserve were served first. A pity! This is actually not common... The service staff were so stressed that when there were empty glasses on the table, they didn't have time to ask if we wanted anything else.

The meat is very good. I am impressed by the creativity of the combinations and we will definitely treat ourselves to a schnitzel there again. Especially since the service is also top. The portions are large. You can have the leftovers packed up. The lack of parking spaces and the fact that it was very noisy put a damper on us. Still definitely highly recommended!!!!!!

My wife and I went to the Schnitzelhaus today without a reservation. We received a very friendly welcome and were immediately offered a place. You can order whatever you want from the Schnitzelhaus, everything is wonderfully prepared, presented and very good! Highly recommended!!

If you want to eat really good schnitzel or cordon bleu in the Burgdorf region, the Schnitzelhouse is the right address. The many different variations offer the opportunity to try the classic schnitzel or cordon bleu with pineapple, cornflakes, mushrooms or tomatoes. For groups of four or more people you get the spectacular platter (in the photo) with four different schnitzel variations and lots of French fries. The service has always been very nice and the price-performance ratio is completely fine. The four stars are there because the Schnitzelhouse is good at what it offers!

Completely overrated restaurant. We waited almost 2 hours for the food in a cold restaurant (even though we ordered it in advance). And in the end the food quality was only mediocre. The service was snippy and anything but customer friendly. We'll definitely never go there again.

The schnitzels are incredibly good and you get a lot of meat for your money. One star deducted: With take away you pay the full price (in contrast to many other take aways), but you don't need a table or chairs and you don't dirty any dishes that have to be washed afterwards and you don't sell the toilets either . In Langnau, for example, I pay 36.- for three pizzas in the take-away instead of 50.- at the table. The second star deduction is that when you order fries with salt and fries with standard seasoning, you hear stupid sayings from the kitchen because it now requires two small packages instead of one large one and I just have to pay for it. Or you simply get all the fries delivered with salt, even though you ordered different ones. What kind of restaurant is this where you are told what kind of spice you have to eat?

Before our trip, we found out online where schnitzel was a specialty. We were very surprised when we stopped by! Huge portion at a reasonable price and the best schnitzel we have eaten in Switzerland for a long time... (P. S: With Austrian roots we can judge this well!!!) staff very friendly!

It's not a hit, there's a lack of love for cooking, even if you have to wait 90 minutes, the food can be better. I prefer to cook myself then eating becomes fun again. Sorry, unfortunately this is the case in most restaurants today. For me, good food is only available at home.

Food is absolutely brilliant. The lunch menu is good value for money and the staff is friendly. They have the schnitzels under control😉 It has few on-site parking spaces. If you want to be on the safe side, go before 12 p.m.

When you go to a place once and you like it, it doesn't mean that you'll think of going there a second, third, fourth...time. We went to Schnitzelhaus once and keep going back again and again. It's one of those places you don't get tired of, and don't need a special occasion to go. You just go, and best bring an empty stomach for the big portions. Order a Schnitzel or Cordon Bleu from the menu, then next time order the next flavor.... You know what you get, and it's good. Plus, the place is authentic from top to bottom. Big congrats to the whole team.
