The food was good, but the portions were not large enough to satisfy our hunger. Children's plate was larger than the adult portions

Typical Bernese restaurant with the warm atmosphere that goes with it. We had the menu, a good zucchini soup, followed by a good mixed salad and a Milanese picata or Viennese escalope. The meat was tender and juicy, we are sure it must have come from a nearby pig. The potions were very generous especially for the price. The waitress was very very nice, fast and cordial. We went there to discover the Kleeb mill, their direct neighbor, and we will return there

We discovered this sensational restaurant by chance. Everything is there for families as well as for company events. The ambience is really created with great attention to detail. The food is excellent and you can order a small portion of everything on offer and don't have to take a huge portion Last but not least... I have never met friendlier staff in my 30 years as a service technician. Bravo A little hint: The children also have a playroom where they can relax. Ingenious

The ambience is just really nice. I like her a lot. Serfies, extremely attentive, in a positive sense. If you would like to eat gourmet food, this is the right place. just really good. The restaurant is a secret type 😉. To the staff you are all great 💪💪💪👍👍👍

The atmosphere at the Gasthof Krone was homely, familiar and hospitable. We felt very comfortable and were pampered. Our children also enjoyed the delicious food and the great playroom. You rarely come across such a special inn anymore.

Nice simple atmosphere. The conditions are polite, fun and accommodating. Food is beautifully prepared and very, very tasty. After frying, the meat was left to rest. The sauces and side dishes were very good and varied. The salad dressing for the nüssler was excellent. We had beef entrecote, horse entrecote and sheep entrecote with saffron sauce and all of them are highly recommended. The Irish coffee sauce is a varied recommendation.

Became aware of this gem by chance and have been a regular guest in Krone ever since. Delicious, hearty food at absolutely fair prices and friendly staff. I'd be happy to do it again... thank you very much and keep it up👍👍 Greetings Thomas Krähenbühl

A country inn like I know from “back in the day” and which unfortunately are rarely found anymore. The staff greeted us very friendly, took off our jackets and accompanied us to the table. In the time it took us to sit down, the serving daughter used this to get the menus from the side table. She lit the candle at the table and asked us for an aperitif. When we said no, we were given the recommendation of the house and the special offers of the day, after which we were immediately given the menu and asked about the drink. The sweet drink is served in a vessel and not in a huge, single glass, which allows the guest to divide the drink as needed and/or share it with the companion. Wine recommendations are very precise and knowledgeable. The food is very tasty and prepared with a good eye, which shows that the staff in the kitchen also know their job and do it with passion. The quality of the food is top and there is a more than good price-performance ratio! The ambience is very well combined between “former” and “new” and it is comfortably furnished. There is also a bowling alley and various events such as lottery, theater and dancing. The toilets are very clean. It was also nice how the employees treated each other peacefully. Here the guest is definitely seen and treated and served in a friendly and competent manner. All in all, it's always worth coming back and enjoying it!

Friendly welcome, courteous service, cozy interior, seasonal dishes along with Swiss classics. Extremely empathetic hostess. Sheep pre-dinner with a fine note of saffron, excellent. Very generous portion of cream schnitzel with noodles. The mashed potatoes could be better seasoned and a little airier. We look forward to a next visit with asparagus and wild garlic.

The country inn can easily be recommended. Philip, the chef, knows his craft, from the daily menu to the gourmet menu. He relies on regional products... accordingly Emmentaler Inn. The wine cellar is something to behold. Tabea, the managing director, runs the business with a lot of friendliness, skill and dedication. The premises are clean, attractive, and the service is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is casual, friendly and cozy. You feel good.

Recommended good cuisine and friendly service

The crown goes to our restaurant at our wedding in 1993. It has been wonderfully renovated (will be renovated even more). Run by a warm, young woman...it's worth a visit!!!

Really good Emmental country pub. Here you can get good and large portions for the money. In the Sääli under the roof there is occasional country theater.
