Best gelato in Basel. Every flavor is amazing, but the banana one is to die for! Also the owner was very friendly and introduce us to his favorite ice gelato combination.

The ice cream is very tasty. The owner is also very nice. There are chairs and tables in the backyard.

Decent ice cream but overpriced. 7 chf for two balls! The black cherry flavor is practically a fior di latte with very little black cherry that you can't even taste. The Bern ice cream shop offers the same quality and quantity at half the price. See for yourself...

There is not only delicious ice cream here, but also 14 different delicious spritz variations. Best enjoyed in the beautiful garden. It's really an insider tip with a lovely atmosphere. I'd love to come back!

Very good ice cream but very very expensive 7.- 2 boules, I ate ice cream as good for 2.- cheaper in Ticino, without forgetting that we are on the side of the road, in Ticino we were on the edge of the lake that makes a change the atmosphere

Very fine ice cream and very special varieties, I always like to come by. The range is growing. Coffee is very good. Ice cream isn't that cheap but tastes great, so you're happy to pay more. Insider tip: the small romantic garden.

I'm absolutely shocked this place has so many positive reviews. The ice cream tasted almost like nothing. I took Fior di latte and popcorn (was really excited for this one). The fior di latte tasted like the cheap bourbon vanilla drops that you put in deserts to save money and the popcorn tasted like exactly nothing. Slightly sweet ice cream textured thing. I was so disappointed and ate one bite, then another to try again and left it. Bummed, really 😞

In 5 years Basel is the first place where they don't accept euro notes, what a shame. Still 3 stars at least for the casual atmosphere

Delicious ice cream flavors, a bit small for the price - 2 scoops 7CHF is proud. Espresso wasn't tasty in a paper cup and 4CHF is too much for that, so only 4 stars.

Cozy, friendly people, excellent gelato artigianale, best location in the center of Glaibasel - always worth a visit! And there is even animal-friendly dog ​​ice cream!!!

Went there a few weeks ago and for the price the amount of gelati we got was rather bad.

Very overpriced compared to other places. 10 CHF for three small scoops of ice cream?? And it's not possible to have three balls in the cornet?? The taste is ok but there is better in Basel. E.g. gelateria di berna there you get 3 large scoops for 5.50 CHF...

The ice creams are tasty. My wife had sorbets, as for me, I tried the ice creams. We found the sorbets particularly excellent: lemon-basil and apricot-thyme are really the most successful flavors. Well done!! We will definitely come back tomorrow to round off our weekend.

Really, really good ice cream plus 50 shades of spritz.

Delicious coffee and Brundinos + great service and friendly hosts. They have various gelato flavours, many of them are local which is definitely a bonus to get a taste of here. This place was like a little surprise for us ^^ Oh, they serve the coffee with a piece of biscotti on the side which is also tasty. Give it a try!

In the beautiful October weather we treated ourselves to gelato again today. We chose the varieties blood orange with stomach bread and hazelnut with pistachio - a great taste experience. The staff is very friendly and gave us helpful advice on choosing the many flavors. The price-performance ratio is right for us, because you really get something for your money. The Berliners filled with ice cream are said to be a sweet temptation. We definitely have to try them. So we'd love to come back 😊

So disappointing! The names on the board looked so promising, however the quality of the ice creams did not live up to the expectation. Would not go back. Also more expensive than better places in BS.

Home of the iconic Brundino—a hot, grilled crispy naked Berliner filled with a scoop of ice cream and dusted with powdered sugar. I never want to not be eating a Brundino. These give me hope for humanity. Must. Try. PS: give the coffee a pass; stick with the gelato & Brundinos

Price-performance is not good. The balls are too small for the price. Brundino is fine; But it melts too quickly and the price is also too much. Otherwise; cool place and friendly owner. (+1 star because I like the response to the criticism. Customer friendly).

Very good homemade gelato with some interesting flavours! You can watch them putting together new flavours in their lab in the back on the way to the cute and shadowy backyard. A welcome spot to flee the sun in the heat! The ice-cream war in Basel has a new contender not to be underrated.

They have really unique flavors and all of them are SO GOOD! I had a scoop of lemon basil and a scoop of caramel popcorn. The combination sounds weird, but they compliment each other really well.
