Burger King in St. Gallen

I'm someone who prefers to read reviews rather than write them, but for the first time I really have no choice. 2.9 stars out of a possible 5 says a lot. .The purest impudence!! The prices are crazy (2 individual burgers 20.30 CHF), but if the food is also served cold, it's the worst!! If anyone wants to imagine what it tasted like, then this is it; A 3 day old burger from the fridge! The BK there can be anything but definitely not fresh! I'm just at a loss for words... just pathetic! Avoid the shop...

Waited 30 minutes for a menu that was ordered at the checkout in Burger King. The staff is completely overwhelmed with just a few guests. They should definitely be trained better

Like all Burger King, you should order at the machine. But the staff was friendly, and it worked without it. The offer is really delicious. Better, much better than the equally well-known competitor. If fast food, then I recommend Burger King

Went there twice within a week, but scanning the QR code on the BurgerKing app didn't work on either of the two (intended) attempts (to collect "crowns"). Then I just left without having accomplished anything. I would have liked to order a steakhouse menu each, but I didn't want to "give away" almost 190 Crowns. The employee at the counter couldn't/wouldn't help either. What a shame! Ironically, there was a lot of advertising for the app and myBurgerKing on each of the ordering screens and even pointed out that scanning the QR code now doesn't work, which is ridiculous. Every other BK can do it too(?!): Chur, Buchs SG, Rheineck...

There are several choices for vegetarian Burger. Very good. Big portion, 2 burgers may serve 3pax Asians ppl.

So these new cheddar cheese stars are inedible, sorry. I bought it and immediately threw it in the bucket after one bite. No more.

Terrible service. It takes more than 15 minutes, and all orders after ours were served beforehand. Disorganized. Sarcastic when I said that we were waiting a long time and that the drinks and potatoes had already been served 15 minutes ago. And also when the burger was delivered late, the employee was sarcastic. All in all, bad experience. I understand that these fast food services are tiring, long hours, pay little. But we have already visited Burger King in other countries, and this place and team are unfortunately not qualified. And more than 6 people were working at that time. We went on 02/24/24 around 5pm and it wasn't very busy.

CATASTROPHE. What does the management do for work?

Order hot brownie with ice cream. Received one without ice cream. When I pointed this out to the employee, all they said was that the ice cream machine had been broken for several hours and there was nothing they could do. After a long discussion, I still had to pay the price for the hot brownie WITH GLACE even though I received one WITHOUT GLACE. Why don't you let us know in advance if the ice cream machine doesn't work?!? I ordered at the checkout. This is just a rip off and the staff is a huge disaster. Unfriendly and disrespectful. This Burger King doesn't even deserve 1 star. I hope Burger King closes as soon as possible.

Absolutely crazy! We were told shortly before the end that there wasn't much left to choose from. We agreed to that, but she forgot to mention that the food was cold and old! The fries were cold and hard as a rock. Simply inedible. Just like the burgers and the rest that was sold to us. 35 francs per ton. You don't expect much when you get there, but that's not possible. If I could give zero stars I would. Juice shop.

I recently purchased something from an ordering machine, but even though my account was charged, I didn't receive my food. Apparently there was a system error in the ordering system, the manager explained. Instead of compensation I was told that nothing could be done and I would have to pay again once the machine restarted. This meant that 20 francs were simply lost - I consider that to be theft. In addition, the hygiene is poor: the tables are dirty and apparently not cleaned, a condition that is handled better even at McDonald's. This is very disappointing for a Burger King brand restaurant. I hope for significant improvements in the future

No toilet paper holder, no soap, no towels to dry... The 2nd visit in 2 months and no one seems to care... What a shame

Everything is very good but expensive

One of the worst burgers I've ever seen. Waiting times are intense, often extremely dirty, especially when you look at the floor in the kitchen. Kindness is something else. Not recommended. There's McDonald's around the corner, friendlier and faster.

Horror! I am a big fan of Burger King and I thought I would get the best in Switzerland. I've eaten in 30 countries and today I had the worst Double Whopper in my life. The meat was overcooked, the entire burger was cold and very badly put together. The pig gets better. I don't know when I'll go into Burger King again!

We got a Latte Macchiato. We didn’t really expect much( because it is Burger King), but what we got was under all expectations. It was so bad, the taste was not good and it was literally lukewarm( probably didn’t warm or froth up the milk before putting it in.) We wouldn’t have minded the taste as much, if it had been hot or warm at least. We went to the cashier to get a refund or something of the sort, but they said it was a normal temperature. It was nearly cold!! They didn’t want to help at all. Not happy.

I paid 16.85 CHF for the menu with "MW2 Skin", but the cashier wouldn't give out the "number code" for this skin, so I had to take action. I grabbed my "MAC-11 with stock" out of my backpack and had to send the cashier to the so-called "Gulag" in a 1v1. LG Drizzy

The food tastes either very tasty or incredibly bad. A few weeks ago I had a burger there which was very delicious. When I asked for the same burger again a few weeks later, this time it tasted very much like raw pork mixed with high-proof whiskey. I find this problem very unfortunate.

10 minute wait to be served 3 cold burgers. I ordered it as a take away, with a napkin in the bag. The taste is better than that in other Burger King branches. Had experienced better service and quality in the past. Next time, and I would recommend this to everyone, visit the MC on the market square or the Neumarkt in St. Gallen Or - if you like BK and are mobile, you should go to Herisau.

I've been twice, always waited so long plus both times they forgot to give me what I paid for. when i told the cashier, he told me i was wrong, i told him to check. they are not kind and have very little desire to work. poor quality and high prices. never again

Food was good. Unfortunately, a voucher was not accepted by the app, even though it could only be redeemed in the Zurich market place, so it should have worked in St. Gallen

Was on Sunday 8/20/23. at 8:50 pm with my cousin at Burgerking and we both regret it. We ordered two small menus and waited 20 minutes. The burgers were cold and the meat had some black in it. The staff was very unprofessional and unfriendly. One cleaned and served us food with wet hands. When we went out to eat, someone came and started securing our table and the other tables and chairs with chains, which meant we couldn't even eat in peace. At 9:27 p.m. someone came out and told us that we only had 5 minutes left because they were closing, even though the opening times said they were open until 10 p.m. They really should find better staff. We didn't feel comfortable at all.

Fast food should be quick and cheap; neither is true.

Unfortunately I had to wait too long for the food. The staff was overwhelmed by the rush. I was forced to give my receipt to an overweight guest in order to catch my train.

Even though there was no one in the place they got my take away order wrong. The chips were missing and an ingredient was also missing from the sandwich. Paying €35 for two sandwiches, even wrong ones.

A true shame. 2 PAYED and complete menus with an absurd price: guess what, the employee forgot the fries, which have been cost 6 CHF (absurd if you think that’s a Burger King menu). The most crazy thing is that this place can still be open with all of these bad comments. If you were in Italy you would have closed immediately. Thieves!!

20 minutes for a small menu? And then there were unfriendly staff (to be precise, the ones with the Austrian accent, they didn't have a name!!!!) Why call them fast food? Is it common for a restaurant/takeaway to open the chairs a quarter of an hour before closing EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE STILL GUESTS AT THE TABLE? Certain rules of etiquette are common sense. Unfortunately, this is not even the case with your staff.

Two years ago, I could confidently say that this place was ok. Today, however, I can say that it will be my last visit. tldr: got orders wrong with increased frequency, bad quality, no improvement I can only forgive getting my order wrong so many times. I can forgive giving me chicken wings instead of my chicken strips. But I cannot forgive the attempt to short change me a drink, 4 nuggets and a packet of fries I paid for. I am tired of having to return to the counter more frequently to show them my receipt and tell them what they got wrong everytime I visit. 😡😡😡 I ordered 3 different take away menu today. The nugget that I was served today in the first menu was rock hard and the chicken wing that I only noticed that I was given instead of a second nugget set that they served in the same sachet, tasted rotten with heavy spices trying to hide the fact that it was no longer good. And the third set of nuggets and fries was missing. The large amount of tissues in the bag really scewd my sight and led to deception of what was not there. This time, I've really lost trust. Only that one African guy actually did his job well. His food was fast and tasty. It was so fast that my order was ready within 10 minutes. As someone who used to work in fast food, his speed was impressive, and the taste was bonus. His fries were crispy... I haven't seen him around in a while. So, now I have been only getting half soggy fries the past few months without any improvements and longer waiting time for poorer quality. I can forgive one off texture soggy fries once awhile, but to be served such horrible quality consistently is not something I will tolerate anymore. I really do not recommend this Burger King to anyone. If you're looking for a meal with equivalent price but better quality, I suggest you head to Migros restaurant nearby.

The food is a matter of taste but the service is not that good. My colleague wanted to order 2 menus from the little pieces of paper that are usually in the newspaper and then got angry because it was still more expensive than usual, so he only got 1 menu and I had to Explain to him that something like that shouldn't be allowed and that he would rather leave it out in the future and won't go there anymore.

I have always found the employees to be friendly, as they are staffed to a minimum, but they seem to be under constant stress. Why is beyond me though - perhaps through online ordering? Orders in the restaurant are okay, but on average every third order is missing something or has been mixed up... the calculation is of course correct. I also think the Uber drivers are great, they are all great and on time (at least for me). Uber service is great and fast. Why do I mention Uber? Because something is missing in every second(!) order and is simply exchanged like "We don't have it there, he orders from us, he'll fit everything in anyway.". Hello?! For sums of 50-60 Swiss francs (when ordering for two people) the order should at least be complete! It is clear that fast food orders are not the same as in a restaurant. But incompleteness without reference is really cheeky! Reading seems to be difficult: for example, you order a Long Cayun Veggie Burger, you get some veggie rösti stuff. Wt*? Anyone who comes off shift, is not demanding and is nearby can stop by. Otherwise: today was my last order from you!

Wanted Vannile Shake, staff couldn't operate device. I wanted a strawberry shake, but it doesn't exist. Then I wanted a code for the toilet. It's not possible, I have to consume it first. What else can I say. Absolutely incompetent staff, no wonder they rarely have guests.

Delicious food and the burgers are definitely something you have to try. For example the steakhouse burger menu. The service was good and the employees are friendly. It bothered me a bit that I didn't receive quite the correct order. (Wrong sauce and Nutella ice cream not received) Otherwise great👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 4 stars👌🏻

A young woman (a little darker, I think a Turkish woman) was very disrespectful to me today, but RIGHT! I ordered a long chilli cheese burger from the machine and didn't pay attention to what it was called. [Receipt didn't come out] I went to the checkout and she called my number. I didn't notice my number at the machine and asked what was in it. She shouted loudly at me that I didn't know what I ordered and was VERY RUDE. THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS!! Food was good but just THROW THE CASHIER OUT!

Had to wait quite a long time because several people ordered at the same time. Seemed a bit under-translated for the evening. In addition, the toilet is almost always closed or blocked with chairs. I ordered the steakhouse burger as a menu, unfortunately the bacon and fried onions were missing, but the bun was filled with ketchup. But the toilet... No soap to wash your hands & drying them wasn't possible either because the box was empty. There were maybe five guests with me at the time...

Hello, the employees work very slowly. I had to wait 40 minutes. The food tasted like cardboard. I do not recommend this place to any Swiss citizen. Other inhabitants of the world should also stay away.

Cramped and unclean-looking space. Waste containers in the restaurant were clearly overflowing. Order is taken with annoyance. There's a wait for almost everything, which is okay because it's freshly prepared. Unfortunately, every order is loudly shouted by the staff into the restaurant to be picked up, which further detracts from the atmosphere. Due to different preparation times, some dishes are no longer warm. Guests have to go to the counter several times because there were no straws, forks for salad, napkins or towels for the fingers (chicken wings) on the tray. Shows a consistent lack of interest. We observed that many guests' orders were not completely fulfilled. Our chicken wings were borderline dark on the outside and not completely cooked on the inside.

No non-carbonated water on offer. (My children only drink water...) The nice employee offered me tap water in a burger king cup. When I agreed she wanted to charge me 3.90 each for the cup. The employee gave me a shrugging gesture that she had to do it that way, it seemed to be the instructions from above. I think that's a no-go. I went to the shop opposite and bought 2 bottles of water.

Dry food didn't come as ordered

More staff than guests, but still a long waiting time. Food only lukewarm, bacon in the burger almost raw... Fries and cola are available on the tray. Burger comes 8 minutes later and fries are then cold. Staff just can't handle it!

Staff very friendly, but when consuming on site for 2 people you only receive 1 straw (2 drinks) and no napkins. Was brought to the table. There was a smell in the men's room that made me gag. I just wanted to wash my hands. Dining area was clean and tidy. I would have accepted an advance warning. In fairness it would be 4 stars. There will be a second chance. Sometimes it's just a bad luck snapshot

I got surprised by the salad. It was delicious and in pretty excellent condition; I loved it.

Saturday November 5th, 2022 at 1:05 p.m. I had dinner with a friend, but that was a big mistake. 2 x chicken burgers were cold and after complaining, the staff was unfriendly, then heated up in the microwave. Catastrophe!!! Table and wall completely dirty. No more Burger King at St. Gallen train station!!!

Junior meal, fries and burger ordered for 22.70 CHF. Shift change during the ordering process. Junior Meal had Fanta instead of water, burger for 10.90 was simply forgotten. No queue that would justify stress, but why the shift change in the middle? Under all hell. Quality as you would expect, the burger was also delicious.
