Super Service! The churros that have been available recently are on top! My colleague and I would love to come back.

Portions are quite big, and prices are reasonable for such size/quality. Yet not the best Mexican food I’ve had. Staff is super nice and friendly!

Delicious food, drinks, numbers - goodbye. 1x fat Curlfries poutine and you're full. Next time it will be the grill plate again... maybe somewhere else... Somehow it works here - even without any seemingly superfluous personal communication, conversations are as unnecessary as they are impossible because the staff obviously don't have the time and, surprisingly, they can't even be heard for the tip, what a shame. But time flies and business continues.

We went to US-Mex for lunch for the first time on Sunday. The service was very nice and friendly. If you already have an open kitchen, it should be clean. I also don't think it's okay if you see the chefs preparing the food without gloves, you don't do that in an open kitchen where the guest can see everything. I also found everything not very clean, rather dingy. I lost my appetite after that. Lots of dust on the toilet too. The food wasn't good. With the fries you could tell that the fryer oil was older. Corn casserole was tasteless and way too much cheap cheese on it. Spare ribs were swimming in the marinade. The hamburger is way too dry and tasteless. We were disappointed in everything. It was far too expensive for such a meal and I regret having paid so much money for it.

We made a reservation for 14 people, the table was for 12. They simply added 2 chairs and it was very tight! When complaining they said they didn't have places for 14 people, but then why do they accept a reservation? Was very annoying! There were a few shots as an excuse, but I would have expected more. Very disappointing!

1 liter of tap water for 10.20chf. It’s a joke and the staff is slow and unreliable. Disgraceful experience

I have been a returning guest at US Mex for several years. Last time, for dinner on a busy Saturday, I opted for the quesadilla and curly fries. The 4 of us ate that evening and the food arrived promptly within a very short time. Keller is always courteous and gives you good advice when making your choice. As always, it tasted excellent with an extremely good price/performance ratio in my opinion. The ambience has been the same for years, but it still fits the setting very well. The only deduction is the constant reminder of the 2-hour time window for table reservations. We were informed about 4 times how long our remaining time was. Once would have been enough and we would have adapted to this time ourselves. It would be better not to do this anymore, as it causes stress among the guests, which spoils the enjoyment a bit. Otherwise, as always, absolute recommendation, I'll be back!

You feel like you're on the streets of Mexico! Great food and the staff was very friendly. We'd love to come back!

The service woman with black hair and made lips was very rude! I asked for hot sauce and after 20 minutes nothing came, I asked again and she replied with an “oops” and then brought me the sauce. For the starter I ordered corn soup, before I could finish speaking she shook her head and said “No, there is only curry soup.” It was actually a curry corn soup. The service doesn't even deserve a star.

Very good food. Excellent attention. Nice place with good music and vibe.

Very disappointed, from the beginning the waitress was very unfriendly, she brought my order wrong and incomplete, I do not recommend it at all.

Very tasty and large portions! What I think could be done better is that the meat in the burger is bigger. Unfortunately it sinks into the fine bread. And mention that there is salad in it. :) otherwise great.

Not a place to have a nice meal and chat with friends. after 1.5 hours you are literally thrown out. The main thing is that the table is sold as much as possible, whether the guest comes again is not important. The quality of the salad I ordered is excellent. The children really enjoyed the food and enjoyed it. this is important!

This restaurant was a bitter disappointment. The service left a lot to be desired - we ordered a dessert, but after 5 minutes we were informed that our 1.5 hour time limit had been exceeded and we had to leave the restaurant. A culinary debacle that I don't want to experience again.

This Mexican "juice shop" was a culinary adventure that I would like to forget. The guacamole tasted like it had been squeezed out of a tube package, and the tacos were so dry they could have survived a desert storm. A true culmination of gastronomic disappointments!

Fine food at relatively fair prices. We got our order in less than 10 minutes. Nevertheless, everything seemed fresh and hot.

We had to wait a long time until we were assigned to our reserved table. Two groups that came later were preferred to us and we were left standing. The food, however, was good.

I had chicken fajita at your place 2 days ago and got sick that same evening. Turns out I got food poisoning from the food. Never again!

The food is ok and the service is very nice and informal. However, the chef de service is the unfriendly thing I have ever experienced. Unfortunately, I had to go through this experience several times. So that probably won't change much. This is why US Mex without me.

We had lunch today with my colleague. The food was prepared and served quickly. Was delicious. The ambience was also nice. But the waitress was rude and nervous. When she saw that we didn't want to tip, her face quickly changed (unhappy). She started taking the menu with our items on it. Things from the table were “knocked away”.

Take-away not fully present, so we had to wait over 10 minutes despite pre-ordering. During this time we were treated unfriendly and even wrapped up by the staff without warning! It is neither the first time that the order was not ready on time, nor for the first time that we were treated unfriendly. But the last time was pretty sure.

The service is very pleasant, the taste seems appropriate to me but I ordered some meat fajitas to take away and it was literally a disappointment, because they only came with 2-3 pieces of meat that were incorrectly counted and the rest was all vegetables. It is not possible that this dish is so expensive at 28 francs and they only fill the tray with vegetables, a disappointment

Unhygienic, and unfortunately not polite, wanted to change tables, pointed to another one, but that was only a table for four. Strange that other guests sat in pairs in a foursome. The saddest thing is to tell other guests it's just dust (not wiped for months, for such a shift). Cleanliness is also a business card. Food is always great. Service could be a little nicer. The upstairs toilet is an imposition. It sucks and doesn't fit in with a good restaurant.

We've been here a few times now to eat and just have a drink and would therefore describe ourselves as regulars. Unfortunately, it became more and more unpleasant to eat here and especially just drink something. The waiters/waitresses are really friendly, but the little old shift manager, or whatever role he holds here, is terrible. Totally unfriendly and disrespectful. The guests are simply chased out after an hour, and we were also affected by this. When we wanted to order more, we were refused and this old man very loudly told the waiter (and actually half of the restaurant given the volume and gestures) that he didn't care and that we had to go out now. We definitely don't feel comfortable here and therefore won't be coming back. I can't recommend this to anyone who wants to spend a nice and, above all, relaxing evening with dinner or cocktails. But there are two stars for the good cocktails and the friendly waiters. Food is quite ok.

The red beef burro was tasty. Definitely would eat it again. But nothing like any Mexican food I've ever had (and I'm from Texas and Arizona).

Very often fully booked, which is absolute proof of how good the place is. I've been here a few times so far (I'm new to the area) and haven't tried the entire menu yet. But I can definitely recommend burgers, chili and chicken. Prices are okay and the portions are quite large. Unfortunately, I'm one of those lazy people who doesn't want to make a reservation - so I don't tend to eat at peak times and I'm very happy with the calmness of the service.

We were in US MEX on a Tuesday. We were served quickly and the food came very quickly. Friendly service, the menus tasted delicious. Larger portions compared to the US. You can park in one of the parking garages around US MEX. Before 6 p.m., so we still had a choice of tables. Otherwise it's worth making a reservation.

me and my friends came in, and we were one of the only people there. We ordered and as time passed by more people came in, for some reason the people from 3 different tables got their food wayyyy before we did. And it wasnt even worth the wait, the burger had too much sauce and the chicken was kind of dry. But the cola was really cold so id say smash, i give a bonus star for that. Also my friend almost choked on the fanta??🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

We had to wait almost an hour for our food to be served. Finally, it wasn't even that good. The only Mexican thing about this restaurant is the name.

Outer juice drawer! We made reservations for 2 adults and 2 children, one of the 2 children was a baby. We asked very politely if we could have another table because Maxi Cosi had already received cheeky answers there. After dinner we wanted to order a cocktail and the employee said he would have to ask the boss. He came back and said the table was reserved! But we also reserved the table! What a cheek! Never again

We were there in the afternoon, the service was great, super friendly and patient with us guests. The food was perfectly fine and the sauces were delicious. We'd love to come back.

We had dinner with you. Unfortunately, some things didn't go right. We ordered starter and main course. Unfortunately, everything came together. We sent the main course back. When we had finished eating, service came straight away and we had to leave. The table is taken. I don't think this works. We actually wanted to order dessert. Drink margarita included. So money is lost and the customer is not satisfied. I won't come back again.

Food came out super fast, we came at 11:30 and we were seated and had our order in right away. The food was hot and fresh, flavorful, and filling! There is a lot of food for the amount you pay. Thank you!

I had called the day before to make a reservation, but was brushed off on the phone and told (in an annoyed tone) that I didn't have time and that I should call another time. It doesn't work at all.

Very nice restaurant in a good location. The atmosphere was very nice and definitely left a Mexican impression. The waiter was friendly to us and the food came quickly. Although we only had two starters, the portions were really large, which is why it filled us up quite a bit. The only negative point was the toilets, which were a bit old. Otherwise, this is the top address for Mexican food in St. Gallen!

The food was mediocre at best and sat like cement in the stomach, but was delivered very quickly. However, what shocked me was the toilet. I have rarely experienced anything so disgusting in Switzerland. It smelled like piss and the hand dryer was so broken that I would never use it in my life.

Dear US Mex I only had 1.5 hours to eat. So my meal became fast food and my cocktail became a shot. It was a challenge but I did it💪🏻🤘🏻

We came to US-MEX on Saturday without a reservation and were seated immediately. The food came immediately after ordering in a very short time. It was very tasty compared to other US-MEX branches, I can only recommend it.

Had dinner at US Mex this evening. Conclusion: We waited 30 minutes until we were served for the first time, then the drinks that were specifically advertised were out, and when the food came, 2 out of 5 plates were only lukewarm... It's a shame... At least the waiter was friendly.

In general, super tasty, friendly staff and large portions. The food was delicious and you get large portions. I shared the Us-Mex platter with 2 others and it went well. I also shared a dessert with someone. For sharing the dessert we asked for a 2 bowl and we got it. There were also delicious cocktails. The staff was very friendly and the food came quickly. The only negative thing was that they brought an order incorrectly, probably because they misunderstood it (we still got what we ordered correctly), and an additional Latte Machiato arrived, which we kept.

Nothing works on Saturday without a reservation. Special feature: You are told on the phone that you only have 90 minutes. There is little time for starters, main courses and bedside meals. We had a starter + main course. The main course came right after we were finished. My companion didn't think it was that great. You're basically forced to swallow everything down. It really seems to be timed. No table remains unoccupied for longer than 3 minutes. The food was really good but relaxation is different.

I've been coming to US often for the last 9 years and have always been happy, but today I'm shocked! Me and my colleague (who has also been there more often for years) sat at the table at 7:14 p.m., each drank/ate 2 main courses, 3 cocktails, and 5 dl... At 8:19 p.m. the service daughter came and asked us to pay, since the boss had told her to do so, with the note that the guests were allowed to sit for 1 1/2 hours per table..... We also had a full cocktail and Mineral... We thought it was a bad joke and asked her if she was serious and if we could at least sit for another 5 minutes and we hadn't even been sitting there for 1 1/2 hours.... then she said: "I'm sorry. My boss says I have to ask you to leave, but I can put this in a to-go cup for you."... We left totally irritated and shocked.... We find it extremely sad that (if there really is this 1 1/2 hour rule) they didn't tell us this beforehand and even let us reorder and that the boss did didn't come to us himself, but sent the staff ahead, even though we had specifically asked! We have never been "kicked out" after an hour and then with consumption! Very unfortunate!!

The food was very, very good, and it was also a very good price for the food I got. The employee was very friendly and had a lot of patience with me. The food also looked very well presented with the spices on the edge of the plate. All in all really great!

I have known this restaurant for >15 years. Good service and fine food. It is correspondingly busy, but the owner (2B-Visions AG) doesn't invest a single penny and allows the infrastructure to completely deteriorate! The sanitary facilities, for example, are questionable (see photos). It would be hoped that the good sales would be given back to the guests at some point...

Hello, I would like to give a more detailed description. I ordered US-MEX platter to go (2 people). What I got was a huge portion of mediocre store-bought fries and nachos with a little sauce on the side, as well as over-fried mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, and jalapeño peppers that turned very dark. Nothing really stood out.

Super delicious food and very friendly service. In my opinion the price is a bit too high - but it's definitely worth a visit. The portions are very large, so no one has to leave the restaurant hungry.

Unfortunately, the two ladies who worked last Sunday later in the afternoon were more than arrogant. We have been regular customers for many years and have so far been very satisfied with the male service and also with Nina and Domino, but that's what we Had to experience on Sunday is not acceptable. unfriendly, arrogant, unprofessional, without any decency towards us guests, after we wanted to sit in with 6 people because of the rain, we were only given the table directly at the top of the stairs, even though almost all tables were free It would be impossible for 6 people to eat fairly normally. We still waited for 20 minutes and weren't even able to place our drink order. Then we left and said on the spot that it didn't work that way. We were treated as described above chaptered down like little children. However, we are all between 30 and 60 years old! So, after a long time, I ate here again. Everything was just finished and also in poor quality. 2x starters, 1x salad, wrap with chicken and quesadilla, 3x glass of water, 1x glass of cola, 1x sprite, 1x coffee, and that for over 120.-, with 2 adults and 2 children!!! sorry but that's just totally overpriced! This time at least the service was friendly. Nevertheless, you can no longer count on us here! In all respects this works much better in other places!

Good food and you can also just pick up food in the park or somewhere else, fast service and inexpensive. The visit is worth it. If there's someone in the kitchen from Mexico that would be cool. Bye my friends amigos etc.
