Burger King in Zug

Worst place on earth. People there are capable only to get you mad not to serve you food. I suggest to eat from the trash, it’s better anyway.

The food is good, the atmosphere is lacking in comparison to other Burgers King's you can find in Switzerland. Overall, it was good.

The dirtiest branch in Switzerland I've ever seen. It smelled of urine and the tables were dirty. We had to leave the restaurant without ordering out of disgust.

Terrible processes, managers and staff overwhelmed, loveless combination of the burger (Supreme Sweet & Sour), and this menu costs 18.90!!!!!!! Absolutely not recommended

Visit on 3/12/24 - 6:30 p.m. 3 women without motivation. Fries with bacon and sauce like bubble gum. Black chicken wings (see photo). The food/number is not called out, just placed on the counter. Every customer has to see for themselves which food is theirs. Long chicken with indefinable (wrong) sauce. Customers wait a long time to eat because they don't know their food is ready and on the counter.

Very bad service. I ordered a burger at the order machine but nobody was in the kitchen. After 5 minutes of nothing happening, a lady slooooowly came and prepared the burger as slowly. If she said at least "sorry", it would have been better.

Wait too long if you have few employees then hire more or ask at the checkout and don't make them wait as long as I do, next time just go pretzel king I'm faster and good

When you go to a place, a franchise let's say, you expect exactly the same taste and service wherever you may encounter a franchisee. Raised in the USA, I expect a Whopper to taste like a Whopper wherever I encounter a Burger King. I got that here and much more... the service is so much more here... go go go there.

I found my visit yesterday quite negative: 1. You still can't order online in Zug 2. Despite there being few people, I had to wait quite a long time, >12 minutes, for my menu 3. The music was loud, the number that was called out was hard to understand (that's why I stayed close to the exit) 4. The numbers on the panel were not updated; many numbers that had already been delivered were still displayed as pending 5. Because the guests were not informed (not acoustically, because the music was too loud; not visually, because the display was not maintained), some finished food was left on the serving counter and was not picked up, but was cold. 6. Although I stuck to the serving, my menu was rather cold, at best lukewarm and tasted very bland. For example, the French fries were very soft instead of a little crispy. 7. It would be nice if there were fine wedges, like its big brother... 8. The service was friendly, but in my opinion not very efficient 9. There were a lot of napkins, receipts and a few leftovers on the floor, the restaurant was - few guests! - not cleaned 10. My go-to place when I need to buy food for the train journey. The price is reasonable.

Staff cannot speak German (official language). The lady can't read numbers either. And she's cheeky too. Tables not cleared.

The warm veggie wrap had cold, half-frozen cheese and the tomatoes were soggy. With Twint you can only pay from CHF 20, which is an absolute disgrace. The service employee was not courteous and no one can speak German.

Very nice staff especially Ms. Manhong! She replaced my waffle with the wrong sauce on it without discussion. Very customer friendly, would love to come back.

Worst restaurant ever, I ordered take away, old meat was put on my burger and a lot of steakhouse sauce was put on it. Fries cold and old then I saw an employee pouring new Oreo mixture onto old ones and changing the time 🤢🤢🤢 you should send the health department there and it was dirty there too

It's just a Burger King... ok... But hey, it's really badly managed. The only people who are productive are the people in burger production. At the front of the counter? If you order more than 2 times you will be completely overwhelmed. The operations manager is more than unfriendly and makes private phone calls in the midst of the greatest stress. I'm usually patient, but 25 minutes for a burger menu isn't possible! Especially since everything was already on the counter and then it took 15 minutes to make fries...eat them cold, of course... Well... it's a shame...

2 burgers - waiting time 20 min … really?

We came on Sunday between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to take an order, which worked for the time being, but the fact that payment couldn't even be made using twint/beacon or a QR code was questionable for me because other branches already have such technology. Which is a minus point for me personally. In addition, the employees were unable to speak standard German or English to take additional orders (forgot the order, iced tea without ice) and didn't understand anything at all and said yes. And gave a cup of ice cream!!!. Why does Burgerking hire such completely incompetent people? Is the requirements profile not checked? Have the requirements been reduced so much? Or is there no longer any value placed on customer relationships or service and advice? So I was really very disappointed. So in this situation it is not recommended to dine on site at all. Otherwise, if my criteria are followed, I would recommend it.

Waiting times too long, I'm always late for school

Meat wasn't cooked through, the sofa table wasn't cleaned, everything was dirty, so much for hygiene, the burger bread wasn't good either, just made quickly and quickly, very 0 APPRECIATION, they get the money and we have to take in and receive dirty food!?

Train the staff properly, is it really that difficult to put the right size of fries in, I only noticed it when I got to the shop, so often you pay too much and put in the smaller portion, it's not a difficult job where you have to Doctor's degree required, but is it too much to ask for at least the food to be served correctly as you ordered and paid for it???!

Today I thought that despite the many bad reviews I would visit the BK in Zug because the BK app said that there were currently summer deals. To my disappointment, my bk doesn't work to collect points. Afterwards I had to realize that the summer promotions didn't work either. When I asked, the only answer was that if it didn't work, it wouldn't work or that the campaign wasn't running yet. Why is this in the app then? So I left the restaurant without buying anything. What's even more disappointing is that my voucher is no longer in the app because it appears to have been redeemed...

It's really sad here. In terms of taste, this Citizen King is the worst in Switzerland. Especially here in Zug, where Bürger King has its headquarters, there should be the best branch 😢. Never again.

Like every Burger King store, it was clean.

We've walked past it many times. Tried it today. Swiss Selection Whiskey Burger: A few crumbs of red cabbage. The cheese directly on the parry. Dry. Zero melted. Otherwise OK.

Is real Vegetarian burger ( not plant based, thats horrible) available again.? I was recently in Budapest, there was Vegetarian burger available in Burger king and was really excellant.

The branch in Zug is so dirty that it resembles a battlefield. Not a single table is clean for eating. I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like.

It is very hot inside the premises, it seems unhygienic and unhealthy to me. Self-service machines cannot be used. Cleaning on the terrace is poor. The meat is black. The drinks are hot. I wish I had read the reviews before coming, WHAT A DISASTER!! PS: I see many similar complaints from customers and they don't solve anything...

Very small restaurant, a bit dark to be honest

It is understandable to make a mistake in an order once, but this happened the last 2 times we ordered. Last night’s order was the highlight though, everything was wrong! When we called the restaurant they said they can’t do anything, only if we go there in person. Ridiculous. Never again ordering from you.

They don't care about the food... Been there 2-3 times, and I have always been disappointed (cold burger, cheese not melted, etc...) Staff just does not care much.

So much incompetence gathered in one Burger King! Every time they manage to forget items on delivery.

The ambience is okay, but that's really deceptive: the order screens were broken and this problem was hardly acknowledged when it was mentioned. The cashier was probably still new and therefore a little overwhelmed by the rush of guests, but made no effort to work a little faster given the circumstances. Organization in the kitchen is a disaster, everyone works at the same speed, namely slowly and that's how it was For example, burger buns piled up in the back of the kitchen. The employees at the front of the counter were overwhelmed and had no idea what order included what. Finally my steakhouse burger arrived. Unfortunately it's starting to get cold. I lost my appetite after about a quarter of the meal, the bread had dried sauce in some places, including some that isn't actually in the burger. Very gross. You could taste the burger about every fourth bite. Never again.

Cleanest BK I have ever been. Quantity is very generous in the burgers. Staff friendly. They deserve the 5 stars. This is not your typical dirty and bad French/German Burger King at all.

It's a shame, the range has been reduced enormously, there are no longer small burgers for small appetites and snacks. Very long waiting times because there are too few staff.

Every time I wait forever for my food, but really every time. I also see everyone complaining about the long wait times - how can it be that years later it's still not better?! In addition, you cannot pay with Twint and there is no click & collect either. Get a little more modern and faster, MC Donald's in Zug does it a lot better! Update: since I couldn't pay with Twint at the machine, I had to pay at the checkout. I waited almost HALF AN HOUR before I realized they were waiting for my payment?? Any normal person would assume that you pay when the food comes? Please build another Burger King nearby. That's not possible!!

Never again!, that's really sad here. In terms of taste, this Citizen King is the worst we've ever been to, the paddy's are reminiscent of McDonald's, there's nothing left with grilled meat, they're wafer-thin and so dry, then overloaded with mayo and ketchup and lukewarm, so let it be better . The cleanliness is not guaranteed!, there are leftover food everywhere on the floor, and the tables are not cleaned after customers visit!, the toilet is also horrible and the employees don't care about ensuring cleanliness. Then another fact that this Citizen King doesn't accept the app actions makes me wonder if this is still Citizen King?. Last but not least, the children's toys in the menu there are cheap cardboard waste so very poor. We were very disappointed. This burger king doesn't deserve the name. The operator at the counter is on the phone... Eat, sosolala. Chicken wings very 'dark' on the outside, barely cooked on the inside. Fries are still just going through. With one exception, the staff seems completely uninterested in representing the employer even halfway decently. All in all, no recommendation for this restaurant. A fast food disappointment. This wasn't the case the last time we visited, a long time ago.

It`s a Burger King but i would not call this one fast food. Bring some extra time and make sure you have a second option for your train connection. You will be missing your first one for sure. You will not get a straw with your drink unless you ask for it. Did you ever try to hold a 0.7L Paper Cup with no lid and drink from it with one hand? You should, it is fun :-D (Important to mention that straws are made of paper which is great, but i want one ;-) ) I am sure there is a concept behind burger king franchise shops. Maybe this one should call the mothership.

Food was good that's why 2 stars. Service and the rest a disaster. At least they apologized. There were few customers there. But I won't be visiting this branch again.

The slowest fast food restaurant I've ever been to. The location is actually perfect for picking up something in the fifteen minutes you have between the train and the bus. But once again we didn't finish eating before we had to get to the bus.

It was an absolute catastrophe there on Sunday evening, it was empty but I had to wait because the man at the checkout was busy on his cell phone even though he saw me. Then I gave the order. It took an extremely long time to take the order because he didn't know where what was in the system. There was no one in the kitchen so the gentleman went to make the burgers himself and didn't even wash his hands after using the cash register and using his cell phone. Then the burger meat came, the meat was too cold and the ingredients were missing. Not enough fries! Extremely dissatisfied, no response, nothing.

Burger King in Zug is the worst place you could go. They are very unorganized and incredibly rude. I have been their multiple times and somehow they manage to mess up my order every single time. This time I waited more then 12 Minutes for my order while others that ordered after me got theirs in 2 Minutes. It is unbelievable that they cannot do their job right. Burger King ist fastfood but it definitely wasn't fast.

The deputy boss was unfriendly, despite the information to take away, it wasn't packed properly, no cup holder, no bag, fries were open and oversalted. After pointing this out, a labrikes came ok....

Terrible machines that either don't work at all or have malfunctions. Employees at the counter are overwhelmed when you want to order there. This is the second time this has happened to me at this Burger King. I don't go there anymore.

I waited 25 minutes for the order, part of the order sat unheated on the counter for a quarter of an hour. The staff avoided eye contact and gave me the impression of being unfriendly and stressed. A pity.

Forgot fries and toys in the junior menu. Explain that to the child. Juice shop, it would be better if you hadn't reopened at all.

The one counter employee with the standard footballer's hairstyle seems to have escaped from a prison canteen. Anyone who wants to order at the counter is not greeted, given an electric look and then turned away in the most hateful barracks tone possible. Today I experienced this treatment myself. As a further critical criticism, I would like to say that the quality of the products was, in my opinion, always very convincing. Unfortunately, just one such experience is enough for me to no longer take it into account locally in the future. I recommend that frenchising providers occasionally carry out an anonymous quality control of their restaurant, because I am sure that such conditions are not part of Burger King's concept.
