Local and traditional cuisine. Superb cheese crust and rösti. Homemade pie to die for. Friendly and friendly service. Excellent value for money. Generous dishes, a very warm welcome, attentive and caring staff. It’s beautiful, it’s good, from traditional dishes to local products. A treat every time. The place is calming, for all generations. Pétanque, park for children, animals, walks (digestive or to whet your appetite).

I loved getting to know this typically Swiss and warm establishment. Everything was very good, the pleasant waitress their wonderful tarts (cooked wine tart and meringue red fruit tart) I wanted to order them again and again. Great range of Lioba teas, especially the warm one. Looking forward to going back. Thank you for this pleasant time spent at your home. 😍💯

Magnificent place: THE setting is magnificent, the service very friendly and the meal excellent. We were able to eat gluten-free without worry. The röstis were very good with very tasty goat cheese. Just a small downside: no individual portion of fondue for my daughter who is celiac and who cannot mix her fondue pot with the others... and the extra potatoes even though she didn't eat any bread...

This is not the first time we have come. Excellent meal, knowledgeable staff and beautiful location. We recommend!

For a birthday, we reserved a meal for 34 people. The performance was extraordinary from start to finish. Excellent welcome, consideration of our requests, excellent cuisine, very good quality of products, kindness and professionalism of the staff, lots of little touches. We had a great time and our guests left with lots of good memories. We look forward to returning.

I organized a meal for 35 people for my birthday in August 2022! We have been preparing this party for several months and met Mrs. Chablaix, the owner, who has always listened to us and been keen to give us satisfaction. Meal and aperitif served in the large typical room on the 1st floor, roast pork on a spit and its mushroom sauce, creamy potato gratin, local cheeses served "on the sleigh" and finally... meringues served with cream double in the bucket! This meal was a perfect success, the service attentive and simple. Thank you Buvette du Mont-Chesau and see you soon for another visit.

Ideal for walks accessible to as many people as possible. A priori bikes and dogs rub shoulders without too much tension. Visit to the farm for adults and children alike: cows, goats, donkeys, ponies, chickens, doves, rabbits... And finally the reward after all these emotions: a homemade pie served with a smile in a pleasant setting ! It's worth the detour!

The food is ok but the service is horrible, rude and disorganized. You should be friends with the waitress to be taken care of politely. Otherwise, prepare yourself for a cold, long and rude service. Also check your invoices carefully because they make mistakes when they have more than 1 order to place… August 1st wasted thank you very much

A timeless place where nothing changes: cheese dishes, industrial sodas and ice creams. Very good salads, but there should be large and composed ones. Two sizes of cheese crusts, the small one is more than enough. The bread crusts are a little too fluffy. Very friendly staff. Very beautiful view.

A Sunday evening after a sunny day where there were a lot of people passing by. Despite everything, we were received by very smiling and friendly staff. Above all, we ate an excellent (fortunately small) royal cheese crust, to die for.

We went there at 9 for Mother's Day. We arrived at 12:00, seven of us took the menu offered, one a cheese crust and the other rösti and ham. We received the entries at 1:45 p.m. The menu items arrived at 2:20 p.m. and unfortunately the 2 people who took the à la carte dishes did not receive their meals. We ask because we have already eaten half of our plates and the owner asks us what they had ordered.... after another 15 minutes one receives their dish but still not the other. After another 20 minutes the last person finally receives their dish. We have all finished our plates 30 minutes ago and one of the guests is finally starting her meal. It's 3:00 p.m. and we still haven't had the desserts. Not to mention the drinks, which we had to wait for hours, with mistakes each time. Too bad, the carrots were already cold and I think the potato gratin was not homemade. If you can't handle a service of this size, perhaps consider taking fewer reservations in the future. Personally I find this service scandalous and we will not come back here.

We went for Mother's Day, and we were very disappointed. The service was poor, we arrived around 11:45am and started eating at 2pm. In addition, our order was wrong so we had to wait again. No apology from the boss. We ordered another bottle of wine, which never arrived at our table. Even when asking for the bill, we had to go and pay at the “bar”. A lot of people were waiting for their orders. We won't be going back!

Too bad... terrace and charming place as well as the young waitress. After 1h30 of waiting I asked for my order so waited 1h45... the röstis were good and it started again with a Frappé for dessert which was prepared once the bill was requested. Above all, no apology from the owner who left the dish and the Frappé nor obviously a small gesture for the bill.
