Proper specialty in Lausanne 10/10

We participated in the training of more than 3 hours*espresso-extraction* where we learned and understood lots of things even after many years of coffee :) Personally, I will reduce the practical experience on the various machines a little in time. 2 or 3 scenarios would be sufficient. It remains a great experience and we will definitely not drink and make coffee the same way again. Thank you Steeve and Davide for introducing us to and sharing your passion. See you soon V&N

Everything here is great. BUT the restrictive hours of opening rarely allow me to enjoy your place, let alone show it to my family or friends. I always end up at Coffee Place, whice is very good, albeit different, and has a less convenient location for me.

From the first visit you feel that you are entering a world that was created by two enthusiasts who are keen to share this passion for the product with you. In addition, they manage to enhance this product thanks to their know-how and their interpersonal skills which give a unique dimension to each visit and they remind us that to have a good time, sometimes you just need to take the time. Finally, the owners offer the possibility of doing barista workshops to learn more about coffee. A workshop that I highly recommend whether you are thirsty for learning or thirsty for coffee!

Always very well received at “ca passe crème”! I had the opportunity to participate in the barista training and I had a great time. I learned lots of things about coffee and was able to practice extracting a perfect espresso 😉 Steve and Davide are caring and very friendly, I highly recommend the training even for coffee novices and I recommend a short trip to the coffee shop !

I have just participated in the “Espresso: the basics of extraction” training. Awesome! We were able to learn the basics of specialty coffee production and then how to prepare an espresso according to the rules of the art with several machines and grinders. Exciting!

I took part in a Barista course given by Steeve and Davide and it was great. They passed on their passion to us through a theoretical course but above all through practice which made me want to continue practicing and perfecting myself. THANKS :)

Too expensive…paid over 15chf for two coffees, and… - sit in the bare window without a pillow, directly on the heating - no saucer, spoon, water, or cookie included - go up yourself to get your drink - being made feel bad to pay by card as they lose margin - 1chf (!) extra for oat milk, which IMO is the same price as cow milk (until you include the climate impact) - wait for 10-15 min for all the other special drip coffees (?) to have finished Their coffees are good, don’t get me wrong, but how does it cost 1-2€ in our Spain/Italy for a quicker service and only missing out on the latte art?

It's a very warm place, the coffee is very good, the staff very cordial, friendly and helpful. I had a nice time.

Growing up in Australia, I have blessed with our cafe culture. While staying in Switzerland, I found it very challenging to find a good coffee to my liking. However, ÇA PASSEE CRÈME made my coffee perfect every time. Always greeted with a hello and a smile, the atmosphere was very welcoming. I ordered a large oat latte, and it always made perfect. The coffee was never overpowering, and the oat milk was frothed to the ideal temperature. My experience here reminded me of home, and I hope my review helps others come to this beautiful cafe. The first time I came with my boyfriend, and it was great! The coffee was very good and the staff were friendly. The second time I came alone and I didn't feel as welcome. I don't know if it was because of the large number of customers, but I felt like I was completely ignored even though I was in front of the bar waiting to order. Just before my order was finally taken, I was ready to leave. The queue wasn't the problem, but I wish I hadn't left feeling so tense. Luckily the coffee was good!

I recently visited " ça passe crème" and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their coffee and their friendly service. Their coffee is delicious and well prepared, with options for all tastes, including vegan and gluten-free options. Although the space was quite small and there wasn't much seating, it didn't spoil my experience as the service was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The ambiance of the place is very pleasant, with modern and stylish decor, making it a great place to relax alone or with friends. I highly recommend “ça passe crème” to all coffee lovers looking for a pleasant, quality experience.

I surveyed many coffee places in the area. This one is by faaaar the best. Very good. I wish they opened a bit earlier, but go here if you can!

I drove two hours to find good coffee. It was worth it 🙂 Cappuccino's milk is soft, sticky, and savory. The texture is perfect👍 The coffee was delicious, so I ordered a cafe latte. It has more milk than cappuccino and is a bit watery. Koreans who want a Korean-style cafe latte can order a cappuccino here. Croissants are also delicious 🫶 I want to go again~ Nous avons découvert un excellent endroit pour boire un très bon café. Les baristas sont très accueillants, gentils and passionnés. Encore merci pour ce savoureux café☕️

Best coffee so far in Switzerland. The cortado was silky smooth . Has a V60 pourover option. Has two pastry options (croissant and pain au chocolat) which was fine as the croissant was perfect. Very friendly service. The place looks amazing, really well decorated. Good vibes.

The staff was super nice, the atmosphere was also very nice, the coffee wasn't to our taste, but of course that's just a personal opinion.

We booked a private workshop to discover the techniques for making the best espresso. Steve's welcome was very warm, in this warm place. He passionately passed on to us all the secrets of the coffee plant up to the use of the machine. Very fun, very complete workshop, we loved the practice! And the coffees were delicious, such good products! Great time, informative and very friendly - we recommend! Thank you for everything !

A cosy, hipster coffee shop that serves barista authentic coffee. The staff is super nice also. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because of lack of wifi, even if one of the baristas was so kind to share his hotspot with me

Only in Switzerland would you pay 7.50 CHF for a filter coffee and it wouldn’t even be good. Brewed far too light - almost couldn’t taste the coffee. I love light roast specialty coffees and the V60 method, but this was so disappointing. Also, they charge 1 CHF for oat milk, penalizing those who try to make more sustainable choices for the planet. Not impressed.

The coffee is delicious 👍🏻 I also drank a cortado (I can't believe there's a cortado!) and it had a clean taste that anyone would like, without being too acidic and nutty. It was the perfect coffee with steamed milk, thin foam, and not overly hot 😊 The staff was friendly and it was a pleasant visit.
