Cabane Du Pêcheur in Erlach

Perfect fish crispy where you can taste the freshness and quality. Also, the fish crispies aren't dripping with oil like many other places. All in all great!

The fish is absolutely fantastic. Crispy biscuits are not typically deep fried like in other places. Crisp and edible fish, just right. Beautiful and cozy atmosphere in Erlach, just before the entrance to St. Peter's Island. We always enjoy coming back.

Service friendly and attentive. The pike perch is good, but the fillets are too big (not always). Cheese slices are great.

Couple 30 years old We come every year to the Fisherman's Cabin because the perch fillet is very good and the HIT plate is very large with several versions of perch fillet. One of the best restaurants in the region for this. Beautiful terrace, very pleasant in summer. Despite the crowd, things are going relatively quickly.

Fish platter with tartar sauce is mega and super tasty. Almost too many people at peak times. Even if you have to queue and wait a bit, it's still worth it.

Very good meal of the fried fish mixture and for a very reasonable price. Nice refreshment bar, it's a shame that the town of Erlach charges such prices for parking on a sort of muddy wasteland and that you can no longer park in the paved park.

Very good food. The only bad thing is that there is a long wait, there is a long line, because you order everything at the window.

Prior to getting on the boat to Saint Peter Island you may want stop here for a basket of lightly battered and fried fish. Caught fresh by local fishermen and expertly prepared it will lift your spirits and give you strength to explore the mystical island.

The Cabane is always worth a stop. Good fish and friendly staff, what more could you want?

We love coming here to eat fish. We love baked zander, perch, whitefish and pike. Simple... but simply good...!!!

Exceptional perch fillet with fries, I think the best in the Neuchâtel region, golden and light, I recommend accompanying it with a nice salad. You can't book so it's better to go during the week, from Friday and it's more difficult to find a place. Open all summer until October, it's a simple place to eat well with family or friends.

Actually, the food and the restaurant would have earned 5 stars if it weren't for the perch fillets from Poland and the pike-perch pieces from Estonia. It's a shame, I expected that a fishing hut would also have its own fish (at least from Switzerland).

Super bad experience, we order 2 cocktails, and when we finally receive it (after 25 minutes), we find a mayfly wing stuck to the side of the glass. We then bring the glass back and the staff remove the wing with the straw already put in the glass and bring it back to us. Great restaurant. Great food. It would be nice if there was an absolute ban on smoking in the entire restaurant, inside and out. That would make the stay even more pleasant.

We come to eat here twice a year. It's always delicious and even though you can't make a reservation, you can always find a place. We recommend. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

But that's probably a question of taste. If you prefer to be served by a waiter and eat on a table with a white cloth overlooking the lake, then you have come to the wrong place.

Nice place on Lake Biel. The cabane hit was superbly prepared. If you want a direct comparison between trout, zander, whitefish and perch, you've come to the right place. Waiting times are reasonable for such dishes and locations. Staff friendly. Children's chairs available. Drinks and beer as well. Always my pleasure.
