As usual, we spent a wonderful evening at the Marghetita restaurant in Erlach. Being in winter, we were welcomed in the charming and warm chalet located on the terrace. The owner of the restaurant, very generous, made our dinner a wonderful time. The dishes were delicious, we were treated to large plates from which we could help ourselves again and again. Thank you for this wonderful service and grandiose welcome. I recommend without hesitation.

The meal of Zürcherschnätzeltes with Rösti was absolutely amazing, we were just spoiled. More than enough, very nice service. The grappa and limoncello provided were also delicious. Thank you for the lovely evening. Will definitely come back

You might think that in a restaurant where the cook and waiter are one and the same person (there were only two of them), you would have to expect longer waiting times and stressed “staff” but no, the opposite was the case! The boss rocked it, she cooked excellently, served in a very friendly and well-positioned manner and everything was beautifully presented. “Big thumbs up” and thanks, I’ll be happy to eat again!!!

Pizza and spaghetti carbonara were both great! The cuisine was excellent that evening. The restaurant was full, the waiter was alone, so there was a slightly longer waiting time for orders.

Great, beautifully decorated restaurant with friendly service and very tasty food! The game plates were really large portions with lots of side dishes. The Pizza Vegetariana (without mozzarella) with burrata was really crispy and good. Pizzas are rather expensive, the large game plates are absolutely worth the price. Clear recommendation 👍

The terrace was beautifully decorated with plants and we were given a menu recommendation at the beginning. Unfortunately, we don't see the prices as justified. The mixed salad was carelessly prepared. Unfortunately, the lettuce had brown spots and there was no bread with the salad. The pizza tasted very good, but unfortunately we didn't get any pepper. The service employee was wearing a T-shirt with holes in it and the table cleaning cloth left an unpleasant taste on the table. For the price I expect hand paper or a towel in the toilet to dry my hands. The only thing available was toilet paper. Unfortunately, the hand dryer didn't work either.

The best pizzas in town! We have been a few times and never been disappointed. The salads are fresh and interesting. My husband had a pasta dish on our recent visit and said it was excellent. Considering how busy this restaurant gets in high season, the quality remains consistently good.

Atrocious service. Without a doubt the worst i have seen in my entire life. The woman who is in charge is undoubtedly the most unempleasant, rude and disrespectful person that has ever worked in a restaurant. After being snippy the entire time, the low point of our evening there was at the end when we were given a check with several items listed at a higher price than what was on the menu. When we picked up a menu and pointed out the errors to her, she proceeded to berate us in the most disrespectful way possible. She yelled and yelled, saying that we had ordered tap water, which gave her the right to inflate other prices (huh?). She cockily boasted that her establishment is so popular, that she can afford to be rude to whoever she wants. Then she yelled at us to leave the restaurant and never come back. Dont worry lady, we never will, and hopefully this review helps people know this and keeps others from experiencing a horrible dining experience such as this. Average pizza is totally not worth being yelled at.

We booked a double room through booking in June (at that time there were more than one rooms left on the booking site). Booked for August 2nd. until 4.8. Three days before our arrival we received a message via booking that the accommodation had informed booking that we could not come because the accommodation was overbooked. We were suggested a room in Bern, which was not an alternative for us as we had specifically chosen this accommodation as we were traveling on August 2nd. wanted to go to an event at Jolimont (and wanted to walk there). It was a lot of stress and I made a lot of phone calls until I luckily found another suitable accommodation. Both booking and I tried to reach "il Giardino" by phone, I then wrote a message via booking and directly via email via the homepage and asked for an explanation. Mistakes can happen and bookings can sometimes be “lost”, but I would have expected an answer (or even an apology). Unfortunately I never received an answer.

We had two dishes which were delicious 😋 the terrace is very warm and the service is very pleasant and efficient. Only remark that we would have, on the rucola salad, tomato parmesan, parmesan shavings instead of fine grated parmesan, would make the salad even better. We highly recommend this place.

We arrived there by chance after a walk around Jolimont. We ate very well and the service from 2 young people on the terrace was perfect. If we pass through there again we will come back with pleasure

We had made a reservation for the terrace and when we arrived we were told that there was no room on the terrace. So we had to eat inside. Otherwise the pizzas are very good, but still a little expensive.

We were in Neuchâtel for a weekend. However, since all hotels were fully booked due to a volleyball event, we chose the nearby hotel in the lovely town of Erlach, which is easily accessible by car. Charming restaurant with terrace and garden - stylishly furnished. 1:1 as in the photos. But what couldn't be topped was the friendly staff. Excellent hostess. Food was great. Fresh and delicious. Your wishes were read from your eyes. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The restaurant was full of happy faces. We couldn't have imagined a better hotel. Parking lots available. Thank you very much again for everything 🫶

We stayed one night including breakfast. Everything was so beautifully presented and the homemade rolls were very tasty. The lady was helpful and nice. I can only recommend it for good food and as a B&B🥰👍🏻 thank you for your hospitality 😇

Following an afternoon walk in Lüscherz, all the restaurants being closed, this led us to Erlach and allowed us to discover the Margherita restaurant "to be recommended" A warm, friendly and attentive welcome in a friendly setting. A welcome that “many restaurants have forgotten” This convinced us to book for dinner there. When we returned for supper, always these same intentions towards us. On the food side, a salad mixed with more than 10 fresh vegetables, cut, prepared in different ways and dressed with great taste in order to please the customer, all with a very good and quality sauce. A continuation in the same line, well presented, very good, with no neglect on the quantity of ingredients specific to the Dish. To finish, a “free” chocolate mousse, even after having eaten too much and moreover not being my favorite dessert. She was just very, very good. To advice To return Many thanks again

....Just a quick trip to a restaurant with my colleague for an ice cream... That was a very special experience!! A pleasantly shady garden restaurant, separated from the environment with large bushes, we were served in a very friendly manner by a very attentive waitress. The Crema Catalana was served in an original terracotta bowl (like in Catalonia)☼☼☼ It was simply a poem! This restaurant actually deserves 5 stars +++! Honestly I didn't have to. Nevertheless, I visited the toilet... It was sparkling clean and very clean! Some 5 star hotels could take an example. Langenthal -Erlach 85 kilometers. Nevertheless, I will definitely go to Margherita again soon☼☼☼!!!

Cappuccino is served very specifically at Margherita = highly recommended ;-) and Erlach is worth a visit anyway.

On our bike ride we managed to get a table right on the street because of the Fischknusperli sign. We then had to first draw attention to us by waving after we hadn't been noticed for 10 minutes. The food came quite quickly and was good. Unfortunately, the good mood disappeared when we received the bill. For two portions of fish crispy with a water and a cola you had to pay 95.-. The fish crispies were perfect, but the side dishes were nothing special. Unfortunately, bag salad, normal fries and 5 fish crispies do not justify the price of 42.50 per portion in any way.

SECRET TIP! The terrace, hidden behind idyllic plants, invites you to linger. The service was very friendly and attentive. The best for last, we were blown away by the taste of the food, again! It wasn't our first visit and definitely won't be the last either! Highly recommended…!

We were pleasantly surprised during our visit today. The pizza with buffalo mozzarella and truffle oil was excellent. The service was also friendly and personable. The only thing we would have liked was better and sharper pizza knives.

The coup was good, although not like the one on the card (no tree nuts on it). Instead of a small one, I got a big one. The faucet in the women's toilet was broken or so difficult to use that hardly any water came out. Almost got locked in the men's toilet because another door was opened that blocked the toilet door...

Friendly & uncomplicated & clean The price is rather high for a room in an apartment with a shared bathroom. The breakfast offer exceeded everything! Slightly smaller bowls with less quantity would also be sufficient. We hope the food won't be thrown away afterwards. Certainly a place for big breakfast lovers ;-)

Rarely eaten so well! Everything is just right here... we were treated to a very high level of culinary delights, an excellent wine list, the staff were exemplary friendly and accommodating, the boss was very personable and hospitable. Even if it's not a stone's throw for us to drive from Thun to Erlach, we will definitely come back. Great restaurant!
