Totally wonderful, possible to get there with an eMTB and just a little pushing, and the place is spectacular. We went there with a 2 year old in a SingleTrailer, a 3.5 yr old on a shotgun seat, and my wife carried a 9 week old, and the welcome, games-corner, and double bunk-bed room were all delightful. Thanks, team!

Small cabin but fairly easy to access

Truly excellent place for families. Fantastic views, games for kids, warm showers, friendly, welcoming and multilingual staff, and cleaner than any other hut I have ever stayed in. Great food too, with local produce and fresh bread at breakfast. Switzerland may not be cheap, but that doesn't mean it can't be great value for money.

Amazing views, valley, glacier or what left of it, good food at affordable prices and possibility to stay over night in 4 or 8 person rooms.

The walk from Zinal to this hut will be one of my favorites for a long time. My children also enjoyed it. Finding this cute hut perched on a hill was a bonus, and a lovely goal with the offer of ice cream and cold drinks. 100% would go again.

Excellent cabane in a beautiful location in this part of the Swiss Alps. Comfortable basic beds, helpful staff, a good (free) shower and a good breakfast. My only criticism is that despite our prior request, the main meal provided was not suitable for vegetarians.

The Cabane du Petit Mountet is a beautiful, cozy and comfortable mountain cabin run by a hospitable family. The room we stayed in was simple, clean and well maintained. Please bring a sleeping bag and pillowcase, and slippers are provided. The use of the shower is included in the overnight price. We had a delicious three-course dinner, in the morning there was a good selection of bread, fruit and cereal, coffee, tea or cocoa for breakfast. Hot milk was also available upon request. Knowledge of the French language is an advantage. Overall, a highly recommended hut.

First and good experience in a mountain cabin. Once you arrive at the cabin the view is just incredible and breathtaking, the best part was waking up with a view like that! The cabin is nice and very clean, some places remain small, like the bathroom, for example. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food at the evening meal and breakfast was good, however I was expecting something more local....

Boring, endless road along the glacier stream. But there is a shortcut to the right. Partly very steep, with high steps and steep steps through bushes and forest. But much more beautiful and interesting than the boring street. The last stretch is extremely steep over loose scree to the hut. The whole path is more or less in the blazing sun. Therefore, it is better to climb in the late afternoon if possible. Very nice little hut with friendly staff.
