I have frequented Nordbruecke just to check and double check if it's an ok place and it really is a toss up. I have had ok times and I've had terrible times there. The best way to know for yourself is to look at their clientele. I will note that there were some amazing people working there but they seem to have left for some reason... in my opinion, enter at your own risk.

We arrived at 1.15pm on Sunday for Brunch and for 32 chf per person you should have eggs of your choice + hot drink and food from the buffet! But unfortunately there was no cheese, bread and cured meats, the eggs were even finished and we changed the menu! They told us they filled the buffet but they only filled the tray with cheese! We recommend organizing these Brunches well with the vast choice and abundant food until 2.00 pm as written on the sign outside the bar! Very expensive for a limit of food.

The service has declined over the years. The quality of simple drinks (Aperol Spritz) is underground. Too sweet, too much water. It's on the bottle! The warmth has been lost. The staff are happy to have fun on site and are happy to chat with each other, but the guests are increasingly less welcomed. The prices are constantly rising, but unfortunately the quality is decreasing. And some employees: they should better hide their disappointment about the lack of tips. Friendly, good drinks = tip. The staff definitely needs a proper introduction to mixing drinks.

It has a nice historic atmosphere however the food are extremely overpriced. We ordered two of the day of the menu and they served us too late, we have waited a lot and they barely checked our table for our requests. The waitress was nice and helpful in english but the rest did not seem to care a lot. The spaghetti sos was greasy, the veggie plate was only cauliflowers, they served salad and soup which were nice. In conclusion, i do not recommend this place.
