Visited for a couple of drinks pre dinner when staying at the Ibis hotel on the same street. Drinks were good and reasonable value in an expensive country. Inside the bar was very nice with a few tables outside on the street. Barman was very friendly both to us as tourists and others who were obviously regulars.

A wonderful bar with a friendly bar man and very reasonable pricing especially for drinks in Switzerland. Google asked "has it changed?". No. Elmi is still lovely.

Best place in Basel 👌 Darts are played here every Monday and Friday and the best Baar Man in all of Basel. On Saturday and Sunday we watch the Premier League, Superlegaue and during the week the Champions League. Thanks for everything and see you soon 🎯🎉

Everyone feels at home in this bar. The owner is a very familiar, friendly host. You can celebrate birthdays here, enjoy after-work drinks or hang out with friends and watch football. Do you know the regular restaurant in the series “How I Met your Mother”? That's exactly how the Royal feels! 5 deserved stars!

A great place! A true local bar (not pub) that serves local beers and is much cheaper than the places in the centre. It is 200m from the station and on the 16 Tram route. The bar staff are friendly and there is a nice outside seating area.
