Café Ccino in Aarau

It's a quirky little cafe inside a textile store. Unique!

A very cozy place to relax, especially in summer. Good coffee with very good salads and other delicacies. The team at Ccino is very exemplary even when the coffee shop is full. Of course there are short waiting times and we try to find a “spot” for every guest. It cannot be the place to be for everyone. We like it very much. Thanks to the TEAM. See you soon.

Saturday afternoon and the manager had no interest in our visit. There were already a lot of guests and there were still two tables available inside (winter). The manager asked us to sit at the "bad" table for two, which was in a draft. When we refused, we were punished with an excessively long waiting time until we were finally allowed to order an overpriced coffee (sorry, it's Aarau and not Zurich City!). We were constantly being watched to see if we were finally finished. When we had finished the last sip of coffee, she immediately sent the waitress to collect the money. It's a real shame because the ambience would actually be super great! I've known the café since the day it opened, I have no idea how things could have developed so negatively. But I will never drink there again. I really hope that my experience is an isolated case and I'm wrong!

Very attentive service, could you do something with the foam from the cappuccino?

Despite the restaurant being full and busy, the service was super friendly and quick. Very clean restaurant, nice and cozy atmosphere.

This quirky cafe is a hidden gem in old town Aarau. Hidden on the first floor of a gift shop and a fabric store, it's a haven for lovers of good coffee. An added bonus is the terrace, overlooking the historic houses of Aarau. Friendly and fast service. There is an elevator hidden in the back of the gift shop.

The Ccino is known in Aarau as a very good coffee spot. I can only agree with this. Today there was no coffee, but because we had 2 for 1 a Birchermüesli and a Rock Shady. The Birchermüesli was very, very tasty! We didn't know the Rock Shady, and it wasn't as good as we imagined. But it was definitely refreshing. The terrace is very nice and in a quiet location. Can recommend it.

Good vegan wraps, with hummus and vegetables! The boss said they would expand the plant-based offering even further! I think it's great, see you again soon at the Ccino.

I was at Ccino for the first time today and absolutely loved it. First the first impression: The ambience is great, suits my taste exactly. Small, very sweet and special. The service was EXTREMELY nice and my bowl and coffee were extremely tasty. I will definitely come back!

My experience at Cafe Ccino was mixed. The ambience was really appealing and cozy, which made the stay pleasant. However, I'm sorry to say that the waffles I ordered were disappointing. For the hefty price of 8 francs, I would have expected them to be homemade, but instead they tasted awful and seemed like finished products. (They were also finished products.) When I reported my disappointment to customer service, all I received was a "sorry" response, with no further effort to resolve the issue or explain myself. That made me even more disappointed, because an open ear for criticism and an appropriate reaction would be important in a good cafe. I hope the cafe improves these points so that future visitors can have a better experience.

The atmosphere was really nice! The waffles which cost 7.50 + extra sauce 1.50 i.e. 9 were ready waffles out of the packaging. So in terms of taste it was a 0. After feedback to the staff, they were very unfriendly and left without any real explanation or apology. A pity!

Were there today and were greeted warmly. But when we sat at our seat, the service lady simply ignored us for 20 minutes. No menu, no ashtray, no service, just nothing. Instead, she preferred to look at us about 20 times and not respond to any calls. Others who came after us were served immediately. We're definitely never coming back. It's a shame, because the ambience and especially the pancakes are really great. But with such service... no thanks.

Slightly hidden café with a very nice roof terrace, very friendly staff and good food. Cozy place in the middle of the city, would love to come back.

Once you've ventured through the baby-colored knick-knack shop in front of it, which you have to because that's the only way to access this café on the first floor, a visit to the quiet backyard terrace is definitely worth it.

Café in a fabric and bric-a-brac shop, with a beautiful garden terrace. Very special atmosphere. You have to plan some time :-) It's definitely worth entering. Coffee a bit expensive for the small cup.

A fine little cafe. REALLY lovely and friendly service and the prices are ok. The Pollo Pesto [Panini] was really delicious. My girlfriend had pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin cake and was also very satisfied.

Best kept Secret in Aarau. The visual most appealing experience sitting on their green roof, and eating the best pancakes in town! Its not easy to find to be honest, you enter through a little all sorts shop and go upstairs... There you will greeted with a warm welcome!

The terrace of this coffee shop looks fantastic and makes you forget time. The service was attentive and friendly. The coffee was first class as were the pancakes I ordered. I absolutely recommend it!

Really super nice coffee, fine breakfast, fine coffee and great offer. However, very unfriendly staff! I ordered a coffee with oat milk and then I heard the barista say disparagingly to the waitress: “Another coffee with an extra request.” When I received my coffee I just said “Here is your coffee with oat milk”... We are in 2021, coffee with oat milk is nothing special anymore and the staff can save this derogatory manner for home. Really great coffee, would have liked to come back but with such unfriendly staff... a shame!

Very comfortably furnished, of course great coffee and the large terrace invites you to sit outside even on nice winter days.

It's a super cute cafe with a lot of charm. Beautiful and inviting. the drinks were colorful, refreshing and sweet. How I like it. I like the special atmosphere, the friendly staff and the fresh and lovingly prepared food. Another plus point for me is that there are lactose-free milk products here - great for cappuccinos. Highly recommended, the small terrace also invites you to have a snack.

The coffee is quite nice per se. However, we were literally "snouted at" by an employee when we put a table in the shade from the sun, without this having any impact on her work. An absolute no-go.

This is a beautiful business for women. On the ground floor you will find lovingly selected gift items for children and friends, upstairs there is a clothing boutique and then the best fabric store within a 100 kilometer radius. Fantastic fabrics in all colors and patterns, as well as ribbons, buttons and other sewing supplies. After you've said goodbye to the huge selection, you can fortify yourself again in the cafe with the best coffee. In summer the terrace is also open. It couldn't be nicer.

Makes the best cappucinos and espressos in the entire canton. I can only recommend it. Compared to Starbucks, there is a world of difference.
