Café de Paris in Interlaken

We usually go to this place, but since the closing of the restaurant next to it, their pricing is getting very absurd. The taste of the food doesn't suit the pricing at all. I took a cheese burger and the steak was not even fresh, even the lidl burger steaks taste better. And my friends chicken burger was the same, the chicken steak was very dry. It was very hard to eat. The presentation was nice but the taste was really average and not suitable for the price.

The food is great! Service is fast! Prices are reasonable on Swiss average.

During my honeymoon in December 2023, I walked past this restaurant with my wife, but we didn’t eat, but the atmosphere of this restaurant attracted me, and I took a few photos of it. This is a fate, I hope I have the opportunity to come here again and I will have extra time to dine in and enjoy the delicious food! It's a beautiful atmosphere, thank you for being part of my memories!

A big compliment to the kitchen! Here the menus are prepared with a lot of love and dedication. This also applies to the lunchtime offers. These not only taste great, but are also beautiful to look at and prepared with attention to detail. And that with an acceptable waiting time. The menu salad is already convincing. The main course seems to be delivered straight from the stove, the plates and food are still so hot. This is probably one of the best offers of its kind in the region. The friendly and attentive service staff seem to easily contribute to the positive experience. Definitely worth a visit again.

Our dinner was delicious! My son was delighted to have his pasta with shrimps ! All the meals were very good! Very good in all senses !But their staff are the best!!

Charming, pleasant restaurant in a beautiful "tower house" that dominates the entire street, with a very nice garden terrace, good service and a more elegant ambience, which is also comfortable and cozy inside. The prices aren't cheap, but since it's close to the center of sporty-chic Interlaken, everything is completely fine as it is! The Café de Paris - a clear recommendation from us!

The food was delicious - the lamb tenderloin was delicious, as was the spaghetti bolognese. Large portions, excellent service.

I ordered cream of tomatoes and honestly I haven't eaten such a good soup for a long time, very well seasoned. For the second course, I ordered Rosti with bacon and egg. I was not disappointed here either, the quantity went hand in hand with the quality of the dish. I rate the food 6+, the service is very friendly and handles my orders efficiently.

So far everything is pretty good. We particularly liked the speed of service. No long wait and you will be served. The food was great and the portions were large. The IceTea appears to be a house blend. This is recommended.

As a restaurant it may be a good offer, but as a “cafe”, not much. The Catalan cream we ordered was the worst I've ever eaten in my entire life. It was cold, tasted like orange and the sugar was partially burnt on top.

I've been going to the Café de Paris Interlaken for years... for a while there was a lot of unrest in the team! But one day the boss really and rigorously "mucked up" what was urgently needed. "HAT OFF" Since then there has been peace and quiet...! The Café de Paris is not just a high-quality place to eat and drink, you feel like you're part of a big family... the staff are always nice, friendly and correct. And who knows how small the kitchen is and what wonderful plates (excellently and very neatly decorated) come out of this kitchen, it's almost a miracle! That's why I tell "EVERYONE" who ate or drank there and wasn't satisfied, tell the staff, they will take you seriously and correct what wasn't good... "Mistakes are made everywhere where work is done" but that's why we all learn! Jürg

I recently visited cafe de paris in Interlaken, hoping to enjoy a relaxing coffee break after a satisfying breakfast. Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment left much to be desired. As it was raining outside, my partner and I sought shelter in this café. We noticed that many locals were simply grabbing a coffee and enjoying it by themselves, without ordering any meals or lunch. Intrigued by the cozy atmosphere and seeing the locals' casual coffee breaks, we decided to enter the café around 11 am. To our surprise, the staff members there insisted that we sit at the bar table only and ordered lunch sets, despite our intention of only having coffee. Feeling a bit taken aback, we ordered one mussel set and two coffees. However, it was evident that the staff members were displeased with our decision, as their facial expressions displayed clear dissatisfaction.

Food is too salty for Koreans’ taste. However, if you tell them not to make it too salty, it tastes like water. Be sure to ask for it to be salty in moderation. Not to salty! The food is expensive, but it's a great place to eat with great atmosphere. When I looked at the menu using Google Translator, it was all in German. Mental crunchy Still, the servers were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. A restaurant worth visiting only once!

We came here because most other restaurants are closed in November. The staff were welcoming and friendly and they spoke English. We ordered Wiener schnitzel 4/5: the portion was big and the sides are good Cordon bleu 4/5: crispy and full of swiss cheese. Rösti with sausage 4/5: the potato rosti was kinda bland but the onion gravy and the sausage were excellent Chicken nuggets for kids 4/5: crispy and big portion House white wine 5/5 Overall, lovely atmosphere and nice staff but a bit expensive.

Excellent customer service and food. There was Portuguese lady I don’t recall, she helped us with our needs in eating. Must say the best dessert and breakfast ever eaten else where. Thanks a tonne :)) we had cassata,strawberry milk shakes , vanilla and chocolate ice creams , cheese and veg omelettes and baguette sandwich. Couldn’t resist had to take away another strawberry milk shake. Soooo delicious !!! This morning.

Café de Paris is in the center of Interlaken on the market square. Parking nearby. Parking garage well labeled. Reserve for 2 people or more.

Their coffee is delicious, the waffles with fruits, and the ice cream are delicious. Their prices are good in Saudi riyals, approximately 90 riyals.

Food was ok and nice. Service normal. Food was ok. Was expecting a crisper rosti but it could just be a different form of it. Soup was a tad salty for me but again personal taste. Overall great!

Cafe de Paris, a lovely cafe with a welcoming atmosphere. The attentive and engaging staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. However, despite the visually appealing presentation and generous portion of prawns, the spaghetti crevetten I ordered turned out to be disappointingly bland. I had to resort to adding salt and pepper to give it some flavor, which was quite disappointing.

Restaurant quite well located in the center of Interlaken. However, the service is long and the price-quality ratio is not very good. The desserts are good.

The staff was friendly. The food was delicious. We had a small problem with our dessert but the waiter responded quickly and friendly. The mojitos without alcohol were very good.

Very nice garden terrace, got a table straight away even though everything was reserved, Greek salad was delicious and very large. Drinks cheap, prosecco for 7.00, water per liter for .5, salmon tartare very good, my cordon bleu, the cheese was too recent, outweighed the ham (not edible! Service top, accommodating!

The rudest staff I have ever dealt with. I don't know if its because im arab. But the waiter was absolutely disrespectful. We asked if they have an English menu since its not in English. He started yelling about how we don't need to read. “JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES.” SEE. IT'S EASY. NO NEED FOR ENGLISH”. While also slamming the menu on the table and turning the pages aggressively. Weird behaviour. Disgraceful. I don't know how people like this get a job at a tourist attraction while also being impolite. Only if i could rate it zero stars. I would have. Literally the worst treatment I have ever seen in my life. The waiter was shouting and hitting the menu so we could understand. We felt that he was dealing with children. If I had given zero stars, I would have given it

The food was not that tasty. Veal sausage was very tightly compressed. Rosti was tasty. With a vegetarian burger we expected a vegetable burger and not a meat substitute. Should be mentioned on the menu. It was too expensive for price/quality. The staff was friendly. We expected more from this restaurant.

Unfortunatly arrived late at 10am for a breakfast which was not offered by that time, but they offered other all day available choices. The waiteress was so friendly, nice and accomodating. Food and service was superb. Reasonable prices as well. Wish if they coukd serve breakfast for s longer time.

I never thought I will see skin colour based discrimination in Switzerland (amazing country in terms of inclusivity). Cafe de Paris staff last evening were the one big disappointment in an otherwise great trip to Interlaken. The grey beard staff and the really tall guy offered 3 different tables to a group before us. However when our turn came, they said rudely it will take one hour when apart from the empty table there were others clearing their bills. I asked the staff if I could speak to the owners and he muttered something about getting a table ready soon. The lady behind us had left in disgust by then and I also left after. Have left feedback for the cafe owners and the mayor. Hoping the staff realise their mistake.

Food: (Wrap Exotic) was served cold. It was then heated in the microwave (wrap was very soft and spongy) Service: would recommend a service course in Bern. When the food came I had empty my glass... and it was like that until the end. Maybe coffee or dessert? Question was not asked. No ashtrays on the terrace... decorations out of place

Frankly, without being pretentious, it is the most delicious restaurant I have eaten in.. Literally everything on the plate is delicious.. I ordered a crispy chicken burger, which was excellent, frankly, and easy to chew. The potatoes were perfect, crispy and soft on the inside, and the salt was balanced. The vegetables with it were the most delicious and delicious. I ordered pasta with it, and to be honest, it is the most delicious pasta I have ever tasted in my life, from its appearance to its feel. It is dull, but the taste is frankly second to none, and you should not miss Coca-Cola, especially their Zero Coke.

Steak was very tender and food was good. Seating outside was nice. Dessert with vanilla, chocolate, and pistachio ice cream was yummy.

quality food and drinks with nice service! we had cordon-bleu pork, prawns, shnitzel (a little too thin tbh) beef pasta, salmon tartar and all was nicely cooked and served. definitely a nice place for dinner with good ambiance!
