Friendly staff, nice atmosphere

Nice little café in the middle of the old town. Easy to reach on foot. The waitress was friendly. The food is freshly prepared straight from the order.

If you don't go, you're missing out. Super friendly service and fantastic food prepared with a lot of imagination. Prices are affordable. Gladly again.

Garden restaurant, very cozy in a beautiful alley in Olten's old town.

Nice little café which is also open on Sundays. Good selection of small dishes and drinks. Since we unfortunately came from a site without a display board, we took the liberty of asking for the drinks menu. The waitress's reaction made us feel like we were a bit stupid for not seeing the board. When asked about a recommendation, the answer was that she didn't even know where to start. This somewhat spoiled what was otherwise a really nice experience.

We just had tarte flambée for lunch today, it was delicious! The special iced tea was also delicious.

Nice cafe with lots of outdoors space in a courtyard. Good flammkuchen, local beer (bottled not draught).

Ein gastfreundlicher musikliebhabender Wirt, der die Bedürfnisse seiner Gäste kennt. Geht auf besondere Wünsche ein und zeigt diskrete doch sehr freundliche Präsenz. Hat für die Bedürfnisse je nach Tageszeit ein sympathisches Angebot. Rund um die Uhr ein "Zuhause ausserhalb des Zuhauses". Möglichkeit draussen zu sitzen unter grossen Sonnenschirmen - bei milden Temperaturen auch bei Regen angenehm. Bietet regelmässig abendliche Openair Konzerte an sowie besondere Festtagsprogramme.

Very harsh in the middle of the old town. Outside seating is super comfortable.

Wir waren schon häufiger im Grogg. Jedesmal freuen wir uns über den freundlichen Service und das gute Essen. Im Sommer waren wohl einige Aushilfen, denen es an Können und Drfahrung fehlte, aber jetzt ist es auch wieder ruhiger. Man sitzt schön draussen wie drinnen und das angebotenen Mittagsmenü ist sehr fein und recht preiswert mit knapp 20 CHF.

Was there to eat, the price-performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired! I was there for lunch around 12:30 p.m. But it was only possible to choose half of the menu (4 x lunch menu), The reason: the first two menus had run out!? And something like that at lunchtime. Not even a schnitzel from the freezer is cooked through (see picture). Furthermore, the employees are more concerned with themselves than taking care of the customers. (See image) I can only give one conclusion: once there, that's enough for a lifetime! With friendly greetings
