Bought chocolate hazelnut cake on Easter Saturday, according to the saleswoman it should be very fresh. Cut open the same evening, totally disappointing! This one was very hard and totally dry, also very expensive!!! Never again!!!

Simple, quick and good lunch menu. On Wed/Thurs there are also pastelets. The cherry cake is simply a must at the end. Very fine!

Google opening hours are incorrect! We were there for 10 minutes, during this time 6 cars drove there that also wanted to go to the cafe. Opening time according to the shop window until 12:00 p.m On Sunday!

Best cream slices I've ever eaten, that's the only reason I come to Menzingen. Staff very nice and helpful. I would also highly recommend it.

I've often stopped by Café Schlüssel and have always been pampered by very friendly service. Of course I can't enjoy my good coffee without a piece of Lucerne cherry cake. All joking aside, I'm of course referring to the Zug cherry cake, which I consider to be one of the best, if not the best. The boss is also very personable.

Everything you would want in a pastry shop with a café. Good selection and friendly service. The quality is good to very good. The service makes every effort to be efficient even under Covid19 conditions. Unfortunately I couldn't locate any WiFi. That's why only 4 stars. I think guest Wi-Fi is normal in a place like this today. Well, we're in the country.

I only drank a peppermint tea. But this one is from Scirocco, I think it's the best peppermint tea there is. And it doesn't cost much, even from the dealer. So only the best for the customer.

Well situated in the center of Menzingen, with a terrace, this is a great bakery/restaurant. Personnel is friendly, service efficient and food excellent.

It's such fine desserts and canapes, a very large selection. The sales staff are also very friendly and the service staff in the café are attentive and friendly. Is really highly recommended.

Nice little bakery, the breads and pastries are good, there is a very pleasant little café adjoining, but with a slightly dated decoration. Be careful, there are not many parking spaces opposite. However, I recommend it for people passing through this very beautiful little village.
