Café Miyuko in Zürich

Small, cute cafe. Delicious scones and good milk drinks. The staff is very friendly and also animal-friendly, which cannot be said about the guests. We were there on Saturday without a reservation and had to wait a bit until we got a seat. Luckily we got a place. The prices are rather high. We'd love to come back :)

Finally made it to Café Miyuko - A cute little hidden gem in Zurich and definitely worth checking out! I went on a gray wintery afternoon for a little treat and ordered the Golden Milk with Soy Milk and a slice of the Chocolate Passion Fruit Cake. Both were absolutely wonderful! Presentation and flavors were both top notch! The Golden Milk was nice and foamy with so many fragrant spices. The cake… wow! Just wow! Chocolaty enough to satisfy your chocolate craving without overpowering the other flavors, and perfectly balanced with a light and creamy chocolate-maracuya cream. Positively surprised by the lightness of the cake. Such a wondeful treat! The ambiance is snug and warm. I didn’t get a chance to see the main seating area due to a private party. I sat in a little spot around the corner from the counter. Cute but quite busy with lots of foot traffic and people constantly passing by which made it a little less relaxing. All in all a true treasure! I will be back for sure! The challenge is going to be wanting to try other things but knowing how good the Chocolate Maracuya cake is and perhaps not being able to resist ordering it again… we shall see 😇

It was designed very cutely. The decoration and atmosphere are colorful and cozy. The waiters are very accommodating. It's just a bit small. The cafe offers a diverse selection of teas, although the prices are slightly higher. Overall it's a cozy little cafe.

We had such a lovely time here. Everything was so beautifully prepared and tasted amazing too. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable upon our arrival. We took the "Miyuko Gnüsser Zmorge" with Bubbles (I took it already many times and honestly it's the best!) I would like to give a big thank you and applause to Dominik, who was attending to our table. His stories and knowledge about tea, coffee, music and the world are fabulous. Everything was perfection, top knotch quality made with so much love. Sara - You're the best cookie and cake maker in the world. We love Miyuko.

Small but nice: Café Miyuko is integrated on the ground floor of JULL. A visit is always worthwhile! The cakes are extremely delicious! The drinks are also made with a lot of love. But what I like most is the creative concept of the facility, the colorful baked goods and the very friendly owners. I'd love to come back 🥰

Excellent in taste. With great attention to detail. A dream for people with celiac disease. Large selection of regional products and lots of homemade items. The hot chocolate is incomparably good.

The brunch is really recommended! :) They explain every single dish on the cake stand. The staff there are also very friendly and accommodating. It's also super cozy there. I'd love to come back.

Lovely place, lovely staff and owners, nothing to say. The quality of the brunch is impeccable, the emphasis is on fresh produce from the producer, everything is well explained and highlighted. Mini downside, we would have liked to have on the brunch shelf, a small piece of cake or a cupcake presented in the window which we really want ;).

We were at the new location for the first time and we are thrilled. Great atmosphere. We treated ourselves to the princess coffee klatch. Beautifully arranged on a cake stand, the pieces of cake were a feast for the eyes 🤩 and tasted just as delicious.😋 We are already looking forward to the next visit.

We went with the intent of having afternoon tea as we were very exited from seeing the pictures and people’s reviews, but the waiter said we had to have a booking for afternoon tea and request it an hour before arriving Which was a bit weird since we and 2 other guests were the only ones dining and the place was almost empty Nevertheless , we ordered the sweet scones, cheese sandwiche, and chocolate berry cake and they were absolutely divine!!! The scones were very fresh and soft, they also served it with a small piece of coconut cake which was a nice surprise The cheese sandwich had many interesting and weird ingredients, but it was something new to try & very interesting And the chocolate cake was my favorite, it was very soft & well balanced I ate the whole thing! They also have good coffee! I definitely recommend this place, the only thing I wish they would improve is : - indoor cooling or AC or having a Fan since there is no air inside and the weather is very hot in the summer - better seating and atmosphere - clarifying that afternoon tea needs to be previously booked or preparing it beforehand to be ready to be ordered on the spot, since some visitors like us are tourists and don’t have a flexible time to come back for it or call previously.

Miyuko is my favorite/best and most beautiful café I know. Very tasty cakes, and many other delicacies and a very nice atmosphere, beautifully designed and very, very nice and friendly staff and also really great owners, really very exemplary, can recommend this café to everyone!! Went once for brunch and once for afternoon tea. Both are fabulous! Loved brunch even more. I felt perfectly taken care of as a vegan both times.

I came here with my daughters for a brunch/ tea time. When you walk in it is absolutely gorgeous. We sat down at a cute table and were waited on by the sweetest server. The owner is also here and so nice! We speak English and they were so accommodating bringing menus in English and talking in English. We are a gluten free family and it fit all restrictions ( gluten free vegan or vegetarian). Such sweet people and great food. So many more things to try! We will definitely come back soon. (Maybe tomorrow 😜)

An absolutely successful Sunday brunch! It couldn't be more regional, milk processed into yogurt from Seebach, rooibos tea from Rümlang and so on... Beautifully prepared with a lot of love and taste. Sparkling wine was delicious and the infused cold teas were refreshing. I'll be back very soon and I'll always recommend you to others :-)

We have ordered a cake at miyuko for the birthday of our daughter. We have found metal parts within the cake, see photo. I nearly ate them. This is absolutely not acceptable for a cake that was intended for 2 year old kids.

I'm a big fan. Since I work nearby, I've had lunch here several times (soup, sandwiches with tofu).

We're at Miyuko for the first time today and we're thrilled. We sat outside and were served very attentively, friendly and competently. Everything was very delicious. We will be back.

Popped in for scones, which were very good. Only one problem, I believe it was Sarah Höchli herself who brought the scones and spoke to me with a very strong German accent. I didn’t at first comprehend what she said, and then she got rather rude and loud, said „Ja order Nein“ - quite shocking to be met with such an abrasive tone. And that left a rather bitter taste. Sorry, but so won’t be returning. Small cafe which can become very loud when full.

Very friendly service and excellent food

We went here for reserved afternoon tea. There was a matching tea for each of the 3 floors. Salty was combined with Assam, scones with green Senchai and the cake with Bernese rose tea. Anyone who chooses this offer should have 2 hours. We couldn't eat anything, so we took cake with us. The food is innovative in terms of taste and quality is good. The tea was definitely excellent. Bernese roses in a bulbous tea mug that warms your hands when it's cold outside. The service was warm, I would recommend.

We went there again for brunch today and as always it was delicious. Anyone who values ​​quality and origin (a lot of it is homemade or from small local producers) has come to the right place. For those with gluten allergies: The gluten-free bread and scones are great - as is the regular bread, of course. We'd love to come back soon - and again!

At Miyuko, excellent Asian tea is combined with homemade (some vegan) cakes. Even as a non-vegan, I was completely impressed by the vegan cakes. Actually, as a regular guest, I shouldn't give such a good rating so that I can continue to have a place ;)

I like the green tea latte. The happiest thing for me is there're optional milk for my dairy allergy. The shop is lovely. Both indoor and outdoor seats are available. The location is good and easy to access. But I cut 1 star from the cake. It is not my taste. The cake is not too sweet, but also not moist, not fluffy and too sandy not like the way Japanese cake should be. **Edit: Yes, I might taste different. And sorry for misunderstanding for the name of the café that sounds Japanese. This leads me to think that I would get the coffee break in Japanese style. My experience, I found the cake break when I cut, which I understand that it is not moisture. I basically eat various of 5 star hotel cakes, world-wide famous cake, and I bake. I can go back for the green tea, but not for cake. Thank you.

Nice location in the middle of Zurich. The cafe was good. I'm in the hospitality industry myself and I just don't understand how, with such a small terrace, you can only see two new guests come out the third time.

The most delicious and beautiful chocolate cake in Zürich. They have gluten free and vegan options that are just as good. I absolutely recommend the one with mango and passion fruit. it’s to die for. Fantastic coffee too with vegan milk options. And to top it all, they are incredibly friendly. I ordered a cake from them for my husband’s birthday last year and it was a huge success. They even customized it for him. Now that they moved closer to the center of the city , we’ll probably go to get our piece of chocolate cake every week . And adding: for those wanting to get some vitamine D, the terrace is in the sun in the afternoon .

The cakes were beautifully decorated but the taste was not as good unfortunately. The chocolate/passion fruit one was rather dry, feeling as if it was not fresh and the strawberry one had no particular taste.

Wow, we loved the brunch. The owners are great hosts with heart, the café is cozy and furnished with great attention to detail. The brunch is explained personally by the host, which is very friendly. All products come from the region, everything is homemade and of top quality. You can even order more :-)) we love brunch and for me the brunch at Miyuko is the best in Zurich and the most "made with love". The brunch components are original and not run of the mill. Bravo!! 💜

Very beautiful place. I had the best Gluten-Free Sandwich ever. The bread was home-made and absolutely yummy, and a lot of love and care goes into all the other details too. The Iced Tea was delicious as well. And then there are all the cakes!! Can highly recommend the place! Especially if you eat glutenfree.
