Café Mühleisen in Liestal

Very fine croissants that are reminiscent of brioche. However, I didn't really like the braid for the Zmoge. Old-fashioned atmosphere and furniture that needs to be renewed.

Once again one of the finest croissants eaten in the region

I can only make coffee because of the good food and inexpensive and the friendly service of the staff

We ordered a cappuccino and a croissant...also the best croissants in Liestal (homemade and always fresh) Very good and friendly service!! Every now and then the innkeeper plays something on his alphorn, here the customer is still king!! :-)

Recently been there for the first time. I was just hungry for a salad plate. I found the sauce to be pretty third class in terms of taste.

I was here to eat before the appointment. Rarely have I experienced such warm interaction, especially with older guests. Here you are treated as a human being, the lunch menu was very tasty and the service was quick and very friendly. Thank you for your work!

Super fine croissants, the Mühleisen still masters the traditional art of baking. The chai latte is always a pleasure. We've never had unfriendly service. I think it also depends a lot on the customer whether they give the staff a smile or an evil look when they enter the café. We are always very satisfied and eating our croissants with you is always a real treat.

In this coffee everything is possible from super good service to bad service. Depends on the day and who is on duty. Cakes are very good. Prices are no longer in proportion to what is on offer. It's really bad when the guests' chairs are literally taken away from 5 p.m. BAD. We no longer feel sorry for the gastro in Liestal that keeps complaining. They should do it focus on innovation and show a little more courage to do something better

For the first time on the 1st floor Acceptance facility, good view over the fish market square, friendly service. Place your order at the counter, the rest is carried up by the service. Wonderful Lenten holidays. We can recommend.

We were on the 1st floor. It's rather cool there despite the fan heater. The service was friendly. The coffee was ok too. Unfortunately the ambience is missing - the room is desolate. This is in desperate need of a refresh.

Incredibly unfriendly service on October 2nd. experienced. First you are ignored and then very unfriendly “brushed off” when you politely ask something. Never again!

I've been a guest at Cafe Mühleisen for 40 years and I still really enjoy being at Mühleisen, it's cozy, friendly staff and it's easy to meet people there.

A super good coffee and restaurant that I have been visiting regularly for over 20 years. The fresh croissants in the morning are delicious and the coffee is just how it should be! The food is also fresh and tastes really good. The service is always friendly and helpful. A coffee that I would recommend to everyone👍🏽👌🏽💜

I was at Mühleisen on Wednesday October 28th Condition is unpleasant for the price kadegori braid is cut like on a farm really thick slice. The croissant tastes like it hasn't been baked for long enough and is so packed. I was put in the last corner and the attendant never looked to see if I needed anything else or anything (I felt like I was parked elegantly on the sidelines) The cafe is the only half-good thing in the place

Open until 6:30 p.m. I wanted to order a tea at 5:15 p.m., but unfortunately it was no longer possible because the machine had already been cleaned?!? Was the only guest at 5:15 p.m. It's a shame it doesn't look hospitable 🤔

Hmm, I keep wondering why so many people are sitting there. I've been a few times, always at about 2 year intervals. Every time I came to the same conclusion. You can drink coffee, but it's not exactly commendable. The pastries, cakes etc. are also quite ok, I don't want to complain about that. The location is very loud, inside and outside one table tries to drown out the other. I'm in my mid-30s and not at all picky, but that's sometimes annoying. Maybe it's because of the audience that comes there regularly. The point, however, is that unfriendly staff stood out on every one of my visits. I won't go into more detail about the staff, just the general term unfriendly should be mentioned. And in my opinion the prices are a bit too high and don't match the services and the location. Utopian one would almost say that if I pay these prices, I definitely expect something different.

The worst espresso I've had this year... My tip: bring better coffee machines to this actually great, renowned Liestaler Caffè! Preferably Italian espresso machines, like those now used in many other places.
