Cafe Porthof in Rapperswil-Jona

We were able to enjoy our business aperitif here, the food was really tasty and the service was very accommodating. We were all thrilled and would happily recommend it.

Today I had lunch at the Porthof restaurant. When you enter the restaurant, you immediately notice the special atmosphere. It seems as if the furniture is all from the Brockenhaus. Lovingly put together and artfully enriched with accessories, the furnishings exude a great atmosphere. Lunch, served at the round antique table, was excellent and visually a small work of art. The dessert buffet is a feast for the eyes. The service friendly and attentive. A recommendation for everyone! Addendum from October 28th, 2023: It's a shame, the Chef de Service, Mr. Stadelmann, the good soul of the Porthof, will no longer work for the team. Sun November 5th, 2023: The beef steak was good, although it was only served lukewarm. Sat. November 11, 2023: Fine ravioli tasted great for lunch.

Very friendly staff. Fine homemade cakes. Ambience and furnishings top. You can also buy furniture, decorations etc. Will definitely go have lunch there.

It is an excellent family place, the attention is very careful and I am happy to have discovered this place, with my family we already have it as a favorite place to spend a good family evening, my sincere congratulations to all that magnificent team.

We had the tragic meal in the Porthof restaurant. They were very uncomplicated because we didn't know the exact number of people. The food was great from the starter to the dessert. Good and friendly service. For children there is a playground in the shade in front of the restaurant including toys to play with. We will come back.

The food was very good, the staff was very friendly and I think the decor with the frequently changing furniture that you can also buy is a great idea :-)
