Café Tröimli (jeden vierten Sonntag im Monat ausser Juli und Dez geöffnet) in Steffisburg

Café Tröimli is undoubtedly an enchanting place with a breathtaking view of Thun and idyllic surroundings. I was lucky enough to attend a wedding reception of friends who rented this venue for their celebration. The beauty and charm of this place are undeniable. The view of Thun and the surrounding landscape gives Café Tröimli a unique atmosphere that is perfect for special occasions. Unfortunately, however, there is one small caveat that I must mention. From 10 p.m. onwards, people are asked to remain quiet so as not to disturb the neighbors. This is understandable, but it can be a bit of a shame at a wedding reception that can last until the late hours. Nevertheless, the positive aspects of this place outweigh the negatives and I can definitely recommend Café Tröimli, especially for events and celebrations where guests can enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Despite the small restriction, this place remains a very special and unforgettable place for special occasions.

Beautiful ambience with an excellent view of Thun and the lake in all its splendor. ♡ Excellent and warm staff who create an atmosphere that makes you dream. It is peaceful, quiet and invites you to linger for hours. The selection of cakes is absolutely amazing. Not only the taste, but also the creative combinations make these cakes a real hit that you can only find here. I love it ♡

This cafe is simply gorgeous! The fine homemade cakes, the brilliant view, the friendly service, the cozy atmosphere, simply everything is really a “Tröimli”. We'd love to come back! Unfortunately it is not open every day...
