We sat inside in the afternoon and enjoyed the drinks as a small group. All in all very nice, the staff was very hospitable, the coffee was good and the selection was wide and not overpriced. We will come back when visiting Locarno. 👍

Authentic location with delicious little things at reasonable prices

Menu of the day always tasty, varied, original, at a good price and mostly also quite balanced and healthy in this place with a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. Today we ate a nasi goreng with a generous side of mixed salad and a surprising and excellent vegetarian tartare made with aubergines.

Focaccia with cheese is a very thick pizza with a lot of cheese on it, it has nothing in common with a real Italian foccacia, which is a shame. The large salad plate with regional cheeses had a lot of pickled vegetables, not bad, but I was expecting more fresh vegetables. For me the price-performance level wasn't quite right. If you're a little hungry you can get a better meal in Locarno for 20 Fr per person. If it's full, you have to wait a long time until the waitress shows up (outside), there is still room for improvement.

Extremely long wait for lunch. A restaurant would be faster. Food is just ok, definitely not worth the long wait. Response to the owner’s comment: We visited this particular cafe, it’s not a mistake. I agree that others had a better experience, which is why I chose it because of the reviews, but was left disappointed. It could be an exception (happens everywhere), but it is only fair to others reading the reviews that I describe my experience as it was.

Very nice cafe restaurant inexpensive you even get small bread rolls with the beer / cafe it's wonderful to sit outside is in the old town of Locarno near Piazza Grande the owner can speak German by the way for those who don't know Italian well 😉 what else you need to know the business does 💕 around 7 p.m. or 7.30 p.m. just so you don't stand in front of closed doors.

I like the cafe. Good coffee from the stamp machine, very tasty food and nice service make up for the lack of sunny spots. Setup simple but somehow good. Gladly again.

Disastrous, you are greeted unfriendly and then no longer served. We've been there several times. Last year it was still very good. They don't seem to need it anymore!

What a wonderful place! We dropped 20 min. Before closure and got warmest welcome. Its not usually like that, in touristic places you would rather expect at least a warning about the closing times. Of course we did not intend to stay longer, but we got enough time to enjoy our beverages and small deserts:) Both delicious. Highly recommend

Had brunch at Bartolomeo on Wednesday morning at 10am. Large, cost-effective selection of components that can be individually assembled. Bread, juice, cheese, etc. all fresh. Recommended!

Very fine sandwiches. Freshly prepared and of the highest quality. Unfortunately the coffee wasn't to our taste, but it came from a piston machine, which was very important to us. Staff was very friendly.

Colazione - breakfast is a special treat here! Always consistently great quality. Available in different variations. Prepared and served with love. The homemade jam with ginger and the cappuccino are particularly delicious here. Great atmosphere, always decorated differently.

Super bar with heated terrace in the small streets of Locarno, warm welcome, a varied menu. Nothing to say except go there and go back!

Unfortunately the hospitality of the staff leaves much to be desired. If you want to have an aperitif in company and cheerfully it is definitely not the ideal place. When this exercise was run by Max and was called Max Way the environment was what they say was "another story".

Were quite disappointed due to the positive reviews. The service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable; However, the quality of the sausage/cheese was very poor and the croissants were so dry that they were probably from yesterday. We wouldn't go there again.

Sehr freundlich und sehr gutes frisches Essen. Leider nicht speziell glutenfrei, aber Personal kennt sich gut aus und sind sehr flexibel. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Super für einen "Snack" am Nachmittag. Die Foccacia waren sehr gut.

The service id very friendly BUT very disappointing breakfast in comparison with other places. The hot chocolate tastes like nesquick or something similar. The orange juice is not fresh and tastes artificial and very sweet.

Eigentlich ein nettes Lokal, allerdings ist die Bedienung unehrlich und gibt absichtlich zu wenig Wechselgeld beim Bezahlen, stellt sich bei Beanstandung dann noch nichtwissend, ignoriert den Wunsch der Kundschaft und ergaunert sich so zusätzliches Trinkgeld.

War absolut begeistert, sind zum Frühstück hin. Die Karte simpel, einfach aber kann auch seine Wünsche anpassen. Auch das Ambiente hat mich sofort angesprochen und entspannt. Nur empfehlenswert.

Abbiamo avuto la necessità di fare una breve pausa pranzo e siamo entrati in questo grazioso locale. Si presenta bene, ordinato e accolgliente, con un arredo abbastanza originale. Abbiamo trovato buona la zuppa e le focacce, buoni i dessert. Servizio giovanile, rapido e veloce. Molto buono per un pranzo celere e una spesa economica.

Fresh products and fine coffee selection to very reasonable prices

Vado in questo Bar-ristorante quasi ogni giorno a bere il caffè con gli amici. Il personale è sempre molto gentile, mi trovo molto bene. Per il ristorante non posso dire nulla perchè non mi sono mai fermato a mangiare. Ma se volete andare con amici a bere qualcosa ve lo consiglio. Forse unica pecca i tavolini al esterno sono un pò troppi per lo spazio che è.

Super resto avec des propositions du jour servies rapidement, et qui changent des pâtes/pizzas/risottos un peu surreprésentés dans les restaurants de la région. Et c'est pas cher du tout en comparaison avec les restaurants traditionnels. On recommande chaudement!

Jedes Jahr am Filmfestival besuchen wir das Caffè Bartolomeo. Aperitivo in attraktivem Ambiente, zum bestellten Drink gibts gleich leckere Häppchen.

Ogni tanto ci rechiamo in questo bar per pranzo. Personale molto cordiale, pietanze per tutti i gusti e ottimi oltre che porzioni abbondanti. Ci sono menù vegetariani, piatti freddi e caldi. Atmosfera accogliente e rilassante!
