I can highly recommend this campsite and their dining facilities. We were at the campsite next door, which has special hours for food and bar. Even though everything in the village was closed at that hour at Camping Torrent, we could still have a meal after a 5-hour walk. The man and woman who run this do this with heart and soul, you can see that they want nothing more than to make people happy. The quality and price of the meals are in perfect proportion! 17 euros for burger with fries or salad, one of the best burgers I have ever eaten with homemade sauce that was delicious, the meat itself of high quality, not your standard bun on it and I had the fries which were great. Nothing but good!

Great site. A little off the main road so the noise is not bad. Good beer and good hosts. Would camp here again if I'm ever in the area. 👍

I will never return to this campsite! Extremely unwelcome as I came back from a hike and wanted to sleep here. I went straight elsewhere! It looks like a family campsite that looks strangely at everyone else who comes!

Very nice campsite. Herby cares for him with a lot of passion. You can eat very well in the restaurant. The campsite is very quiet and has great pitches. The playground could offer a little more and a pool wouldn't have been bad during our stay at 33 degrees. But the pool is in the planning stage :) thank you for the great days.

A nice campsite. The facilities such as bar, restaurant, terrace and sanitary facilities have recently been completely renovated. The family that manages the campsite is very friendly and approachable. The showers are great. The coffee too!

You are in good hands with Daniela and Herbert. Very hospitable courteous couple that does everything to make the place even more attractive. Clean shower and toilet facilities and very sunny. The log cabin is very nice and the prices in the restaurant are very low, so you're happy to drink another bottle every now and then. The atmosphere inside and outside is very pleasant. We had a great time and would love to come back. We are particularly excited to see what other projects Herbert will implement. Go on like this.

We ended up at this campsite by chance. We were warmly welcomed and given a nice spot with our camper. The campsite was clean, good sanitary facilities with a lovely shower. We only came for 1 night, but will definitely come back here again. Bread service available, with the tastiest chocolate croissants we have eaten during the entire trip.

Small campsite in beautiful surroundings, quiet location. Every Friday evening, the friendly operators Daniela and Herbert spoil guests and visitors with grilled food or other delicacies. There is usually musical entertainment. And there is the “Best Campari Spritz” Always worth a visit.

Great camping operators who are very friendly to us. Space and sanitary facilities i/o. No reason to say anything negative. The second evening was still county evening. It was well organized by the campsite operator. Nothing was missing. Well done. Come again!

Nice campsite! That feels safe In a beautiful location (not cacky) Good price 30 per night approximately. You get a spacious spot and are not crowded together. The toilets and showers are super clean (the rest of the campsite too) It is also a nice place for the kids, there is a large trampoline and a play area. We will definitely come back here again!

Great campsite, perfectly located, easy to reach, the hosts Daniela and Herbert are also a great team, very friendly and accommodating, tip top sanitary facilities, large pitches with a great view. Very nice and optimally located campsite. Only 5 minutes. from Leuk and the enchanting Valais vineyards. Very quiet location. The spacious pitches are located on a slight slope, providing a wonderful view of the mountain region. The infrastructure, such as sanitary facilities etc. are very clean and well maintained. The friendly host couple also runs a delicious camping restaurant. Everything is highly recommended, we will definitely come back.👌🏻

Have been coming here for over 20 years. New owners always take some getting used to, but they are doing a good job. Looks a little better every year. Grilling on Fridays, always fun. Quiet campsite with fantastic views of the mountains.

Went back to the Torrent campsite three times in a short space of time: that says enough! The campsite is run by Daniela and Herbert in a very flexible and hospitable manner, so that everyone feels comfortable. There is a solution to every problem! Quiet camping and beautiful, spacious site on well-kept lawn. There are delicious things to eat from grill master Herbert ;-D RECOMMENDED!!!

We were able to spend 6 nights in our camper with Daniela and Herbert Waller. It's just great how much heart, innovation and helpfulness the campsite is run with. Solutions are sought and found easily. The sanitary facilities are renovated and very clean, the restaurant serves delicious grilled food and the price-performance ratio is very good! All destinations are easily accessible by public transport. A bus stop is just 5 minutes away on foot. Thank you very much, it was great with you, we can only recommend the place and will come again! After a disappointing event at the Gemmi campsite, I received an extremely friendly welcome here. Both owners put a lot of effort into their guests and made me very happy too. The place looks very natural and invites every kind of camper to stay here. The interaction with other guests, which I was able to observe, is also very friendly. Next time I will pitch my tent here. It's a shame that I only found the place when I was in dire need of food.

After years of staying at Camping Rhône, we visited Camping Torrent for the first time this year. And what a wonderful time we had! A very quiet campsite, very neat and clean sanitary facilities. Nice spacious pitches, the car is allowed next to the caravan. For children there is a swing and a trampoline, no swimming pool. Very friendly host and hostess. The grill steak is highly recommended from the menu!! We will definitely come back!

Terribly dirty the owner was a gardener toilet cleaner and in the kitchen everyone was wearing the same clothes. Toilets weren't ready, the lawn where we stood smelled unbearably of acidic earth. The food was ok but the circumstances in which we sat were not comfortable full of sawdust etc. We have been coming to the campsite again and again for about 12 years with Christa and Nando. Next time we'll take Gimmi.

Camping Torrent Leuk Susten A campsite run with love. Daniela and Herbert Waller are the camping couple of the year. Always ready for any help. Good food drink. There are 8 people at the table and they want food, no matter how many different menus. Everyone eats at the same time. 👍👍👍 Fresh bread made to order Hospitable. There is live music every other weekend and a mega country festival with line dancing in September. Simply fantastic

Big compliments to the owner couple! The beautiful campsite has undergone several loving modernizations, all of which are now usable for guests. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest because you were so concerned about our goodwill. Starting with the really friendly welcome from Ms. Waller, the professional introduction to the stand with our mobile and not forgetting the delicious food. Everyone should try the Aperol Spritz (!!!)! The price/performance is still right!! Where else in Switzerland can you find something like this? The place is well shaded, the bathrooms are always clean with soap/paper always available. In every corner of the square you can see the motivated hand of the owners. The new house fits in well with the surroundings, it just looks great. We will be back soon!! Keep it up, you are exemplary!! Gertrude and Corinne

Camping with heart and attention to detail The welcome is warm and uncomplicated. There is some food on the “terrace” between the buildings. The pitches are interspersed with old trees and even the toilets, which are often standard at campsites, have been lovingly staged here. - By the way, the showers are nice and warm.

Actually a pretty good campsite. Unfortunately we didn't get the fixed rental caravan we had reserved (€60/night). We were offered a mobile home first for 100 and then for 80 per night, which unfortunately doesn't allow for the 5th star. Here tent (depending on size), people (8.- per person & day) and tourist tax (-70 per person & day) cost separately.

Relaxed atmosphere. A bit western style, spacious shaded areas. Have their own restaurant and bar.

Top place with super nice operators and delicious food. This will be our future port of call when we visit Valais! And the dogs are cratis 🐕

After a day full of rain, we were cheered up again here. The owners are very warm and compassionate :-) The bathroom is newly renovated, there is a covered seating area for campers without an awning and the coffee in the morning is not only delicious but also cheap! Thank you for your hospitality!

We spontaneously stayed here during our hike in the rain. The staff was just great! Nice, courteous and helpful. There is also a clean, newly restored bathroom, a kitchen corner and nice seating. You can't expect more from a campsite, hence at least 5 stars!

Most beautiful spot in Switzerland. My 2nd home. Mountains, walking, lakes, swimming.....beautiful weather, enjoying peace and space. Sanitary facilities are clean, hot water without coins or hassle, washing machine available so you don't have to wash by hand. Nice spacious pitches.

Bridado Senn It's been a while, on the 4th weekend in August 2018 we experienced a lot of positive things at the beautiful Torrent campsite. Arrived on Friday evening, Herbert showed us to our place in the moonlight. After a quiet night, we were overwhelmed by the beautiful panorama. In the evening there was a barbecue and live music, which was a real feast for the ears as well as the palate. Price/performance is right. The campsite is run by two good people.
