Cantinetta Bindella in Solothurn

Can only recommend the restaurant, we were a group of about 10 people for dinner. We had an excellent meal, starter, main course and dessert. Everything was excellent, fresh and tasted excellent. I would like to come back.

Unfortunately, poor noise protection measures in the guest room. When full, you can no longer understand your own words. Noise protection blankets/walls would be good. Food very tasty. very friendly staff

Vegan friendly place: vegan and vegetarian dishes were clearly marked on the menu (V and V+ for vegan). The pasta dough freshly made, the service very attentive. It's not on the cheap side, but this is Switzerland and all the ingredients were of very goo d quality.

We were in a group for dinner! We were served very courteously! The food was very good, the wine selection was great, the prices were reasonable and we were given very good advice! The waiting times were a bit long but the restaurant was also very busy that evening! Highly Recommended!

The restaurant is decorated in a classic Italian style. The food was “seasoned” very well. Starter Nüssler salad with egg and bacon for 17 Fr. OK. Unfortunately the portion (veal schnitzel thinly carved three times for 35 Fr.) was very sparse, but the side dishes were excellent. Chicken could have been juicier... Wash your hands after a cigarette break☺️ Service otherwise top!

All in all, good food... Only the cola was swapped when ordering for a diabetic friend (life-threatening!) and I had a small fruit fly in the salad... Cordon Bleu unfortunately a bit too small and not filling. Unfortunately it also had a soft underside (stale?) But none of that stopped me from coming back...

The ambience, service, food and support were all great for us as guests. Attentive care and very animal friendly. Gladly again we feel very well looked after.

A wonderful restaurant in historic baroque down town Solothurn. Great service, good italian menu and friendly atmosphere. At La Cantinetta Bindella you’re in the hands of chefs and staff who know how to give their guests a good time. Definitely worth while having a meal at after visiting the beautiful baroque old town of Solothurn

Had lunch with my daughter today. As always, it was excellent from A to Z.

Very expensive by German standards, but apparently not for everyone else. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait very long, even though there were fourteen of us. The lasagna was to die for. Maybe I'll come back if I have to go to Solothurn again.

Every year we celebrate the birthday of a member at Bindella, hands up for Stefano, he served us this year and he was just top class. Now let's move on to other facts: Inner space : Way too warm and we don't even have winter 😐🤢. Eat: •Starter tuna carpaccio with scallops tasty but a bit salty, ruccola was almost cooked due to the temperature of the scallops. •Beef Carpaccio Excellent! •Giant prawns were delicious but way too much rosemary and again a bit salty, plus the spinach had way too much garlic so the spinach flavor was a bit lost. •Sea bass fillet delicious •Mistkratzerli salty and not 100% our taste. DESSERT Lava cake & Toblerone chocolate mousse A POEM 💗💗 These two desserts can easily compete with other high-end restaurants worldwide. 💗💗 Expresso Café perfect as always. Service top I hope you can reduce the amount of rosemary and salt a bit in the future. Still, always a nice experience Grazie Mille

Were in the garden on Sunday around 2 p.m. and waited 15 minutes in vain for service. There was eye contact with us - but no one came - so we just left.

I went here for dinner and was unfortunately disappointed overall for the following reasons. Ambiance: 4/5 On a warm summer evening, the outdoor area under the trees at La Cantinetta is the highlight. Starter: 4/5 The wine soup turned out to be the best course in retrospect. Delicious soup with a variety of vegetables, impeccable in terms of craftsmanship and taste and the portion size was appropriate. Main course: 3/5 The mint advertised in the menu as part of the sea bass plate consisted of a decorative mint leaf being placed on the fish, but otherwise not being incorporated into the dish in any way. The sea bass was well prepared, but together with the zucchini sauce it was quite unspectacular. That certain something was missing here. The risotto side dish was far too small, tasted okay, but unfortunately again nothing special. Dessert: 3/5 tiramisu and panna cotta as you would expect, but nothing more. Service: 3/5 Friendly treatment, but incongruous with the rather upscale image, as the appearance was more in keeping with a rustic inn. Price/performance: 2/4 All in all, what is on offer does not match the prices on the menu. For me there is no need to repeat this

Fine food, nice service on the beautiful terrace

The atmosphere is very decorated, elegant, however the food and attention of the staff is average.

The portion of vegan ravioli was too small for the price asked, and the waitress cursed under her breath when it started to rain. The restaurant itself would be great and has a lot of potential.

The restaurant is well located at the entrance to the old town, nice garden seating. The menu seemed a bit small compared to other Bindella restaurants. The food tasted good, fresh and was served quickly. Prices tend to be on the upper end. A salad or soup is served free of charge with the daily menu. Service is very friendly.

Good Italian cuisine. The place is always very loud whether at lunchtime or in the evening. Unfortunately, the service is sometimes rushed and unfriendly, which is something I don't know in Italy. The garden is cozy.

Were there as a company, poor service staff were totally overwhelmed and the boss (?) mostly just watched - I felt really sorry for the young, committed service staff. Food was okay, but the advertised menu didn't quite match what was served. Gardening very nice.

There were eleven of us in the cantinetta today. Although we have had good experiences, the speed of service today was unsatisfactory. The portions were also too small - the price-performance ratio was not right. A pity.

For me it's probably the best Italian in Solothurn

Nice restaurant almost on the Aare in Solothurn. Nice reception! Service great!!! Everything worked out, all extra requests were fulfilled without any problems. Nice salads, fine bruscettas, good main courses. A lot of guests, but the noise level was okay. What we missed was a seasonal menu with, for example, asparagus. Otherwise we went home very satisfied and well-fed.

The best Italian food in Solothurn!

Just disappointed. Only the beef fillet was great. Remaining food, sea bass, "soup" chicken, (average) flambéed giant prawns with pasta, shredded meat. Went to this highly praised restaurant on March 25, 2023 with the ladies and the sailing club. My wife and I were in this restaurant for the first and last time. The interior invites you to linger. The map is very inviting. The wine list contains one or two pearls that are rarely found in this country. The service staff is simply great, very attentive and friendly. We went to a small birthday dinner today. We enjoyed it very much and were definitely not there for the last time.

Very tasty food, cared for down to the smallest detail

After a long wait, I received the “lasagna” I ordered. Cold and inedible! It was more of a tomato sauce than a lasagne.

We were at Bindella Solothurn with our son on Friday lunchtime. Our impression was outstanding. Super nice staff and also the boss. We enjoyed a 2 course menu that was very tasty and served quickly. Unfortunately, our son slept through the entire lunch until we paid and got up. Since he also got hungry afterwards, we were allowed to give him lunch in the restaurant afterwards so that they warmed us up briefly. Thank you for that. Very, very happy to come again another time. Child friendly restaurant. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is Bindella-like good (safe value). But the kicker is the selection for the children. You can choose something from the menu, which will be made into a children's portion for 15.-. As mentioned at the beginning, child-friendly restaurant. Very cool Bindella! Gladly again 👍🏼

We had dinner with a group of 13 people. Unfortunately, it didn't work for everyone to receive the main course at the same time. Plates were already being cleared away while some were still eating. The lasagna was OK, but nothing more. The restaurant was busy and very noisy; a pleasant conversation in the group was not possible.

Lamb chops delicious. Filled dumpling tasty but rather small. Unfortunately, the rosemary potatoes weren't a hit (hard, floury, just no longer fresh). Staff was super friendly. Thank you for the great evening. I only give 3 stars because of the price/performance, which is rather expensive and therefore my expectations are higher

A very nice restaurant with Italian specialties. The menu is very comprehensive and all 11 people who were there with me enjoyed their choice to their complete satisfaction! Of course, the right wine to go with it too! If the weather had been nicer we would have eaten in the cozy garden

Very kind welcome, in Italian in the text and very good pasta dish. The spaghetti al oglio was a little spicy and perhaps a small portion, but the zucchini/pine nut pesto pasta was super good. On the other hand, the room is a little noisy.

Is a restaurant with white tablecloths. It has a beautiful outdoor area. We have lasagna for dinner. Since it took a while, which the friendly lady in service told us, we ordered a tomato and mozzarella salad as a starter. Looked nice, but didn't know the price. The lasagne was like..... because the seasoning was missing. The dessert was the best. Unfortunately the price/performance is not right. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It has gotten better since my last visit 3 years ago. However, we have not selected any dishes that would pose a challenge in the kitchen to prepare. Rather expensive, but still popular, at least very well attended. On hot days you can enjoy spending time outdoors under the shady trees.
