The prices are fair, there is quite a choice, the service is good and the staff are friendly. There is also a terrace, when the weather starts to get nice it's very pleasant :)

I had a quick lunch in this simple, bistrot-like eatery in Grand-Lancy. My main reason for choosing this place was it's proximity to my camera repair guru, bringing my dad's old Leica II from 1937 for service. The restaurant appears very popular with locals and people working in the neighborhood so it rapidly filled up between 12.30 and 13.00 when there was not a single table free. The plate of the day this Friday was filet of perch for very reasonable money which obviously attracted many of the customers. I had a rather small portion of calf kidneys, cooked to perfection and rapidly served by the busy and kind waiters. Wine by the glass from local wine makers were of good quality and reasonably priced, something you cannot say of the cost of most of the suggestions on the menu.
