A typical country side restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and delicious food. I tried this place for dinner. I was lucky as there were not many tables available for that evening. I ordered my soft drink and a green salad along with a pepperoni pizza. The taste was very good and the salad came fresh with a delicious italian dressing. The service, despite a full house, was speedy, competent and hospitable at all times. In case you are looking for a cozy restaurant with good food, visit this place but make sure you reserve a table.

And then the beef tartare: I looked for the meat, but it was so stretched with a sauce and so much fat that I had to complain. The 2nd result wasn't really any better. The toast was charred at the bottom. All of this is simply not possible, and even less so at this price! Daniel Bumann certainly wouldn't have been happy either! You shouldn't use tricks in the kitchen to stretch the food so you can earn more, because it will eventually backfire! Quality is the most important thing. Also when it comes to service. Previous review: It was fine to eat there 30 years ago and it's still the same today! Very cozy restaurant, reminiscent of a grotto.
