Great location for after ski apres at the end of the day. We waited out the line back to sunnegga with a beer. Plenty of taxis come up to bring you into town. Good live music and plenty of seating even if it’s busy. Great cheese board

From the moment we arrived at the door, the reception staff greeted us with a smile. All fatigue disappeared just by seeing them. They kindly introduced the environment, informed us of all the itineraries that could be arranged, and chatted like friends. It was really great.

The CERVO Mountain Resort in Zermatt is a super nice hotel with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn when the sun is shining. The staff are super friendly and there's a very pleasant, informal atmosphere. The hotel has a lovely spa area with an outdoor pool and sauna. The culinary offer is also very good. Take the ski elevator up and walk down. Awesome place for dinner and a drink. Pricey to stay at but I'm sure it's worth it.

I have no words to qualify the outstanding stay we had at the Cervo. Starting by the personalised welcoming, the convenient check-in around a glass of champagne or home made ice tea for the kids, the beautiful SPA, the included activities like Sauna rituals or Yoga, Meditation…I could continue for hours. To give you an idea… the breakfast alone deserves to spend a night at this magical place. Thank you everyone at the Cervo, you have been no nice and you made all the difference.

All the chic alpine style rooms, wood and vintage design, overlook the legendary mountain. Even the spa invites you to rinse your eyes! Do not wait any longer!

CERVO has exceeded expectations in every aspect. This is a first class ride out/ ski in hotel. They have answered “yes” to every need of the traveler, and many that you have never thought of. The service is cheerful, welcoming, and accommodating. The facility is beautiful and creatively appointed in mountain chic. Fabulous experince. There is so much effort put in to pamper the guests at top level. Food, spa, design, location, service is top. At the same time all these efforts feel natural however you can tell it is super precisely organized from behind. Bravo to the team and to the managers. NOT SO MUCH BRAVO to the builders or whoever skipped the sound insulation between the rooms. I was in Aplinist L loft room. We had only one neighbouring room plus the ones below. We heard the poor neighbour guy coughing, listening to music, talking. I was shocked that it could happen in a 5* hotel. This was our 2nd time at Cervo and I had no such problem the first time in a different room in the same building. At the check-out I mentioned this to the person at the desk. I'm sorry guys to write this down. Otherwise this hotel is above all expectations.

This review is purely for the apres-ski which is the best one in Zermatt in my opinion. I had the privilege of going there for 2 days straight as Cervo is conveniently located at the bottom of a slope, and you almost can't miss it. The vibe is amazing, there was a dj and live music there. Loved the mulled wine, the crowd is fun too, and the views are unbeatable. An absolute must!

Top! Wunderbares Hotel, viel Liebe zum Detail. ZMorge ist grossartig! Herziger SPA. Duft im ganzen Hotel TOLL! Ich werde mir den auch kaufen. Ich empfehle das Hotel zu 100% weiter.

Cervo, der Place to be nach einem Skitag. Der Bazzar ist einfach ein Bijou, mit seinen Grossen Cheminees und dem speziellen Ambiente, es muss nicht immer Alpenchic sein.

Magnifique hôtel ! Notre chambre (alpinist) était parfaite pour un court séjour ski, rando et détente. La localisation du resort ne peut pas être mieux (devant l'ascenseur de Sunegga). Le spa offre un moment de sérénité unique et si vous avez de la chance avec la météo, on peut apprécier une vue du cervin depuis la piscine à 30 degrés (le rêve !). Attention, il faut réserver son moment au spa (covid) et il faut s'y prendre le jour avant (c'était complet pour notre premier jour malheureusement). Nous avions pu aller qu'au restaurant du Bazaar (le Madre nostra est ouvert que le week-end), mais la carte propose également quelques mets des deux autres restaurants. Les plats végétariens sont exquis. Nous recommandons le hummus de patate douce et l'aubergine grillée. Le personnel est jeune et très accueillant. Et pour terminer, les valeurs en matière de développement durable de cet hôtel nous ont plu (achat de la nourriture à moins de 150 km, pas de télévision dans la chambre, très peu de contenants en plastique).

Not worth the money. Only 20% of the staff know what they're doing. Very odd design/furniture where there is never enough room for anything. Plus taxi service in Zermatt controlled by some eastern mafia guys - bwah.

J'étais vraiment parti pour une évaluation bof, accueil un peu désorganisé, spa très prisé et donc trop rempli, trop bruyant, puis changement d'épaule du fusil, nous recevons notre chambre vers 16h, toute simple, superbe, vue, confort. On monte au restaurant, et là, apéritif EXCEPTIONNEL (au dessus de tout ce que j ai pu boire dans ma vie haha) suivi d un repas occidental à côté d un feu de bois, (nous avons bénéficié d'une offre Qoqa.ch) donc pas le choix à la carte. Pour UNE fois on nous sert un repas 4 plats, sans un gramme de viande, à tomber à la renverse. C'était succulent. Un sans faute sur toute la soirée, les lits sont d un confort venant d'une autre planète. Un attention particulière pour la gestion des déchets (pas de pailles, rien de jetable, pas de gadgets, pas de TV, pas de menu papier, un plus pour moi) Donc 6 étoiles sur 5 pour le CERVO et son restaurant le Bazar.

Das ist ein Hotel in dem man nachhause kommt. Da stimmt einfach alles, vom Abholen am Bahnhof bis zum Turndown... es macht Spass hot zu sein. Das neue Spa ist fantastisch, relaxing Massagen und ein schöner warmer Pool in mitten vom weissen Schnee... Wir danken euch für eure Gastfreundschaft...

We had an excellent stay at the CERVO this past weekend. It was our first time staying here, but we immediately felt right at home. This was due to the very friendly and always helpful staff, the great design and atmosphere of the hotel, the lovely room with a fantastic view and the delicious food and drinks in the hotel. During our stay we enjoyed breakfast and lunch in the Bazaar restaurant and had dinner at the Madre Nostra. We also enjoyed the Spa which offers great views of the mountains. Also, we were very happy about the fact that one of the ski slopes ends right next to the hotel, which makes returning to the Cervo after a long day of skiing as easy as possible. :)

We stayed in a Junior Suite that was quite spacious, with a separate bed and living room. The food is great, at the Bazzar as well as at Madre Nostra (good wine prices). The SPA is nice and offers everything you need with a sauna, a hot pool, steam room and many more things. Overall a great experiance and perfect covid care...

Das Hotel war sehr schön, das Personal super freundlich, aber die Rechnungen etwas irreführend. Wir haben eine Nacht im "Cervo" verbracht. In dieser Zeit zwei mal etwas konsumiert im Hotel, u.a. im Madre Nostra und im arabischen Restaurant. Beide Male waren auf der Rechnung ca. CHF 40.00 mehr verrechnet, als wir konsumiert haben. Zum Schluss "versuchten" Sie uns weitere CHF 60.00 beim Check-Out zu verrechnen, obwohl wir die ganze Rechnung im Voraus bereits beglichen haben. Fehler passieren, das ist klar, aber meines Erachtens sind diese Fehler für einen so kurzen Aufenthalt zu viele. Deshalb kann ich nicht mehr als 3 Sterne geben.

Stilsicheres Hotel mit erfrischendem neuem Look und engagiertem Personal. Das CERVO kann ich allen Reisenden wärmstens empfehlen! Ideale Lage und ausgezeichnetes Essen im Bazaar — mit wunderschöner Aussicht! Immer eine Reise wert!

Wir waren Anfang Dezember (als die Nicht-Hotel-Restaurants noch geschlossen hatten wegen Corona) für zwei Nächte im Cervo und haben in zwei Restaurants zu Abend gegessen. Beide Restaurants, das Madre Nostra und das Bazar, haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Qualität der Speisen in beiden Restaurants ist hervorragend. Das Frühstück, ebenfalls im Bazar serviert, bietet eine grosse Auswahl an frischen Säften und lokalen, qualitativ hochwertigen Produkten. Die Getränke, Eierspeisen sowie weitere Leckereien können à la carte bestellt werden. Unser Zimmer war von A-Z liebevoll und durchdacht eingerichtet worden. Bezüglich Zimmerausstattung fehlt es an nichts. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Minibar, die viele aussergewöhnliche und lokale Sachen beinhaltet. Der Apéro im Zimmer mit Blick aufs Matterhorn war schon ein kleines Highlight. Wir haben in den bequemen Betten wunderbar geschlafen und die frische Alpenluft sehr genossen. Wir kommen gerne wieder mal zu Besuch.

Juché sur les hauteurs de Zermatt, le CERVO est un hôtel à nul autre pareil. Jouxtant l’arrivée des pistes de ski côté Sunegga, ce magnifique hôtel est un bijou d’architecture. Composé de plusieurs chalets, le CERVO ressemble à un petit village en pleine nature, et offre un confort exceptionnel. Les trois restaurants qui le composent sont tous excellents, et la vue sur le Cervin est à couper le souffle! Bravo et merci au CERVO Team qui se donne sans compter pour offrir à ses hôtes des moments magiques!

L'un des meilleurs hôtels de Zermatt! Rénové cette année après seulement 10 ans d’existence, le CERVO est un hôtel magnifique divisé en plusieurs chalets à l’architecture se fondant parfaitement dans un décor de montagne. Le service est parfait, personnalisé, et irréprochable. Pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, les tarifs pratiqués restent très raisonnables, et les offres de début et fin de saison sont absolument incroyables. L’offre culinaire est variée, et s’étend du tout nouveau Bazaar (principalement végétarien, avec notamment des plats inspirés du moyen-orient et du continent africain, au Madre Nostra qui propose des plats européens, et, évidemment, italiens. Pour les amoureux de fromage et de grillades, le Ferdinand est au top! Merci à toute l’équipe pour ces nombreux séjours inoubliables!

Cervo had a high rating on many platforms but we were very disapointed in which condition we found this place in Dec 2020. The hotel was not ready for our arrival, e.g. construction work was on going, ski room was not opened yet, dust everywhere incl.our room, from 5 restaurants/bars on the webpage only 1-2 opened, room cleaning only by request and not even properly done, restaurants reservations were mixed up several times. Despite nice design, beautiful spa area, nice food and good selection of wines, the place seemed poorly run and we felt that the hotel did not meet the 5* standard.

Als wir letzte Woche für drei Tage in Zermatt waren hatten wir das Vergnügen zwei Nächte im traumhaften Cervo zu verbringen. Der ganze Aufenthalt war von A-Z perfekt. Wir waren vor 4 Jahren das letzte Mal in Zermatt und kennen das Cervo noch von seinem alten Stil her und können mit guten Gewissen sagen, dass das Cervo einen neuen Meilenstein mit seinem Umbau in Zermatt geschaffen hat. Aus der Bar entstand ein komplett neuer Bereich wo man heute das Restaurant Bazar findet. Im Bazar serviert das CERVO-Team viele verschiedene vegetarische Gerichte im Sharing-style. Wir waren total beeindruckt vom Orientalisch Nord-Afrikanischen Design. Auch das Puro gestaltet sich neu und fungiert heute als Madre Nostra mit einem Italienischen Küchenchef aus Rom. Dieser zaubert typisch italienische Gerichte auf höchstem Niveau. Das ganze Personal des Hauses war äusserts freundlich, herzlich, kompetent und zuvorkommend. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall ganz bald schon wieder. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Cervo-Team für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt.

Mein Partner und ich haben zwei Nächte im wunderschönen Cervo verbracht. Unser Aufenthalt war einfach nur perfekt. Das Zimmer im Chalet fünf war wunderschön mit direktem Ausblick auf die Berge. Noch nie zuvor hatten wir eine solche Minibar wie wir sie im Zimmer hatten gesehen. Woow. Das Essen im Restaurant Bazar und im Restaurant Madre Nostra und in der Grapes & Juniper Bar war einfach nur köstlich. Alle Mitarbeiter vom gesamten Cervo-Team sind sehr freundlich, sehr kompetent und sehr herzlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall immer wieder gerne. Vielen herzlichen Dank für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bei euch.

We stayed at the Cervo for two nights last week and it was the perfect getaway. The new look of the hotel, rooms and restaurants harmonise really well. The NOMAD M double room is set up beautifully and the minibar is incredibly cool with all the special things I have never seen in another hotel. Thank you for everything!

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt durften wir im Cervo Zermatt erleben. Super Service erhielten wir bereits bei der Ankunft in Zermatt am Bahnhof. Da unser Wunsch war bereits am ersten Tag direkt auf die Piste zu gehen hat uns das Hotel Personal angeboten unser Gepäck bereits zu holen und auf unser Zimmer zu bringen. Nach mehreren schönen Stunden auf der Piste war auch der Weg zum Hotel nur noch ein Katzensprung. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Ende der Talabfahrt. Morgens ist der Weg zur Piste ebenfalls sehr kurz, da ein Lift direkt vor dem Hotel zur Talstation Sonnegga. Beim Check-in wurden wir herzlich mit einem Willkommens-Drink im Restaurant Bazar begrüsst. Das Zimmer das wir danach beziehen konnten war sensationell ausgestattet. Nebst einer grossen Minibar hatte es Sitzmöglichkeiten innen sowie aussen auf dem Balkon. Das Badezimmer war wunderschön und grosszügig bestückt mit biologischen Seifen und Duschmitteln, die einen sehr angenehmen Geruch verbreiten. Meine Lieblingseigenschaft des Zimmers war definitiv das äussert bequeme und grosse Bett sowie der exklusive Ausblick auf Zermatt und dessen Bergketten. Das Spa war mit allen sich zu wünschenden Anlagen ausgerüstet. Sauna, Dampfbad wie auch ein Pool mit direktem Blick aufs Matterhorn. Ingesamt war unser Aufenthalt sorgenfrei, entspannend als auch aufregend. Eine unvergessliche Reise. Ich empfehle das Hotel meinen Freunden

Das Cervo empfiehlt sich jungen sportbegeisterten sowie aber auch erfahrenen geniesser zum Besuch. Die Lage ist Hervorragend, da man innerhalb 5 Minuten von den Federn auf der Piste sein kann. Kurzaufenthalt in Zermatt Wow, was war denn das für ein fantastischer Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel? Von A-Z hat einfach alles gepasst. Aber wir möchten mal ganz von vorne beginnen. Wer meint, dass ein Erlebnis erst beim Check-In beginnt, wird vom Cervo eines Besseren belehrt. Das Erlebnis startete für uns bereits beim Bahnhof, als wir vom Cervo-Taxi abgeholt wurden und ganz bequem zum Hotel gebracht wurden. Als nächstes folgte ein leckerer Welcome-Drink an der Rezeption, welcher uns definitiv das Gefühl gab angekommen zu sein. Beim Betreten des Zimmers kamen wir nicht aus dem Staunen heraus. Der direkte Blick auf das Matterhorn mag zwar klischeehaft klingen, ist aber einfach atemberaubend und einfach unbezahlbar. Die Mini Bar war für einmal etwas anderes und wir waren davon sehr angetan. Das gesamte Ambiente war sehr stimmig und wir fühlten uns wie Zuhause. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Bett - wir haben einfach göttlich geschlafen. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Bazar liess keine Wünsche offen. Von frischen Früchten über leckere Eierspeisen war alles dabei. Allgemein punktete das Buffet durch gesunde und ausgewogene Produkte, sowie einem regionalen Angebot. Als begeisterte Wintersportler können wir das Cervo ebenfalls empfehlen. Um zur Piste zu gelangen, muss man nur die Strasse überqueren und mit dem Lift nach unten und dann ist man bereits bei der Talstation Sunnegga. Da wir in der Coronazeit zu Gast waren, konnten wir uns leider nicht bei den Pisten stärken. Sogar dafür hat das Cervo vorgesorgt und verschiedene Lunchpakete bereitgestellt, welche regional, ausgewogen und einfach köstlich waren. Nach einem fahrreichen Tag auf der Piste erholten wir uns im Mountain Ashram Spa. Dieses Spa können wir nur empfehlen. Hier sprechen wir wirklich von Entspannung pur. Das Ganze wird ergänzt mit frischen und getrockneten Früchten, Tee, Gurken-Limettenwasser, Sauna, Dampfbad, Ruheraum und einem Aussenpool, welcher einen grandiosen Blick auf das Matterhorn bietet. Das Dinner am ersten Abend genossen wir im Bazar - einem vegetarischen Restaurant (welches aber auch den beliebten Cervo-Burger anbietet). Ich persönlich liebe Fleisch, aber es war wirklich einmal etwas anderes und würde ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Am zweiten Abend waren wir im Madre Nostra - einem italienischem Restaurant. Trüffelliebhaber sind hier genau richtig. Wir bestellten uns die Empfehlung des Hauses und waren sprachlos. Das Wort Sprachlos trifft es eigentlich genau. Vom Empfang am Bahnhof, über die Rezeption, über das Personal, über das Zimmer, über das F&B-Angebot, hat uns alles sprachlos gemacht. Es war einfach fantastisch. An dieser Stelle möchten wir uns ganz herzlich beim ganzen Cervo-Team bedanken für die Zuvorkommenheit und die unglaubliche Kompetenz welche Sie alle ausstrahlen. Danke für dieses unvergessliche Erlebnis. Wir kommen wieder!
