Hotel Rhodania in Zermatt

The team is wonderful. The room we stayed in was super comfortable and the breakfast was good. Diana is super welcoming. All in all, a super cozy place with an unparalleled welcome from the entire team.

Perfect place to stay. Good view to see Matterhorn. The room is very comfortable. Breakfast is not bad. Really recommend.

Quiet hotel, nice staff and good breakfast. A little far from train station but quiet area.

We had visited and stayed in rhodania for two days during christmas. They had no staff , they had mentioned in the voucher about an electric kettle but there was none. Staff was extremely rude for dont know what reason. We were leaving early for our train and the breakfast was ready but the staff wouldnt allow us coz we were 10 minutes early for it. Overall a forgettable experience. Far off from the zermatt station and they wouldnt help you with your luggage. Dont go for it

Good 20 minute walk from the station. If you have a heavy luggage avoid this hotel as they have stairs at the entrance and they wouldn’t help you one bit with your luggage. Overly rude staff. The hotel was under staffed for Christmas just two of them. They wouldn’t advise or help you with anything. The rooms were good but if you’re a couple , the beds are twin beds and not a double bed. Not electric kettles or bottled water as promised in the booking information. No spread for breakfast. Might as well find a better hotel and not ruin your stay after booking this.

Stayed at Rhodania for 1 night while visiting Zermatt. The staff were really helpful throughout. They kept our luggage till our room was ready and we went up to Matterhorn. They also called the trolley (equivalent of a cab to the station) when we were leaving. For the price the rooms were spacious, clean and well-kept. They had breakfast included in the room rate and it was a fairly good spread. The location was good, just a short walk to the cable car station up to Matterhorn as well as close enough to the main touristic area with the shops and restaurants. Overall a good property and perfect for the overnight halt at Zermatt.

Normal stay, but in the evening it is quite loud under the window...

Hotel Rhodania Staff! I am very satisfied with everything. The staff was kind, fulfilled all my requests. We had an abundant and delicious breakfast. The room was exactly as I saw in the pictures, the bathroom and bed linen were clean. We came on a bucket list trip, I can only recommend it to everyone.

Convenient (for Zermatt) Centrally located, view of the Matterhorn, lovely furnishings. Old, very well preserved and maintained building. And loving service.

This is a very simple hotel. I chose the Matterhorn view because the location was good, and it was a good decision. You can meet very friendly staff.

Sólo estuvimos una noche (después de unos pocos días de caminatas y alojarse en cabañas, y antes de eso, la estancia en un hotel distinto en Zermatt por 2 noches). Pero ojalá nos hubiéramos encontrado antes. costo significativamente menor que el otro hotel de Zermatt, y tenía una vista mejor y más cómoda cama. Adaptadores de electricidad era un poco extraña, una anchura que en otro lugar diferente! --pero el personal prestaron un adaptador que funcionaba (sin cargo). Gran ubicación, agradable y soleado. Estancia maravillosa de terminar nuestra visita de Zermatt.
