Excellent welcome, good fondues, in the middle of charming nature. And what's more, "kids friendly"... What more could you ask for 😉🤗

The reception is very cold, we almost disturb the staff. We asked for a fondue for the terrace because inside it was much too hot and the atmosphere was freezing. It was refused to us outside for no reason. So we take an aperitif board instead, the waitress hesitates because that too cannot be served outside... she offers us a half aperitif board for 24 francs with a few pieces of cheese and a few slices of cold meats, a joke but we accept because we are hungry. With no tact the waitress tells us to bring her the plate and the basket of bread when we leave. In short, we tried twice and we won't go back again. No professionalism, the waitresses look down on you. Come back down to earth, you are not in a palace far from it! TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID

I love this place and the walk that goes with it

We were more than warmly welcomed for our team dinner. The food is delicious, the desserts incredible and Christiane takes great care. The place is simple and very warm, you feel welcomed like at home! We will come back with great pleasure.

A cozy cottage near the Col du Mollendruz. In winter, available with a stroller. Pleasant sitting with a view of the Alps. Behind the chalet there is also a nice view of the Alps, from the Eiger and the Jungfrau, through Les Diableretes to Mont Blanc.

An easy place to stop for refreshments in the snow. Only served in winter. Fine cheese dishes and very friendly, courteous service. Accessible on foot with a slight incline. Great view from the cozy winter garden. Reservations are recommended for a weekend visit.

Classic mountain buvette, simple but delicious menu featuring locally-sourced produce. Possibly the best fondue and meringue we have ever had (and we have had a few). Run by a very friendly couple. Love this place as a lunch stop on a winter walk, it’s wonderful.

Splendid view from the chalet. Rustic dishes. Pleasant staff.

The place is offers a magnificent view to the lake and perfect viewpoint to the Western edge of the Alps. In good weather Mont Blanc is showing itself. I haven't been inside the chalet. They offered hot tea and warm soup for sledgers when I was there. There is a carpark about 500 m away by the Col de Mollendruz. Worth arriving early because after 10am the parking spots are a getting fill in by hikers, skiers, dog walkers.

Cute place but very limited menu. You can basically order a soup, fondue or a platter of cheese and charcuteries. A bit sad that they refuse to get clients tap water and charge 10 chf a bottle of water that costs 0.50 chf in the shop!!!

Very friendly and family welcome. Nice terrace. Open from Nov to March, Wednesday to Sunday + Vaudois school holidays. Great starting point for a snowshoe or cross-country ski trip to Mont Tender

This is the traditional Swiss chalet, warm and welcoming, very casual, very child-friendly. The menu - by definition - is limited. But they have everything you need after a long brisk winter hike. Note: this is cash only and fondue for 2 adults and 2 kids with all the drinks and a dessert will run about CHF 130...not a bargain but nothing in Switzerland is a bargain. We would definitely recommend and would go back.

Great time at the Chalet du Mollendruz: the chalet is easily accessible and very well maintained, the service very friendly, the food quality! The treasure hunt is very easy but its purpose is extremely appreciable: a delicious chocolate fondue and a small gift for the children. Big and small, everyone enjoyed the experience!

15 minutes à pieds du parking. Parfait pour se promener ou pour luger pour les enfants. Les fondues excellentes mais un peu plus de fromage serait le bienvenu.

Nous avons réservé pour 14 personnes la veille de Noël à midi, changement de propriétaire depuis cette année. Une jeune fille sans expérience du métier très stressée qui a oublier plusieurs choses que nous avions commandées!!au fur et à mesure du repas, elle est devenue désagréable et limite arrogante!!nous n'y retournerons plus ce n est plus l ambiance Jeanine très décevant.

Chalet d’alpage sur la trace de retour de la piste raquettes entre le Mollendruz et le Châtel. Attention paiement espèces uniquement. Bonne cuisine simple et en quantité correcte, ambiance chalet chaleureuse. Tarifs raisonnables. Bon accueil. Nous recommandons au détour d’une randonnée !

Comme repas pour le frangin vegan : une assiette de 300 grammes de patates à l'eau! Il était trop compliqué pour la cuisine de les faire rissoler dans un peu d'huile!Un service minable, à la limite de la provocation, qui a jeté un grand et long froid sur notre tablée de 20 personnes.

For a birthday we booked for 20 people and asked if they could offer a vegan meal, which they assured they could do. Our poor son was offered just 6 boiled potatoes and a few salad leaves. A request to the kitchen did not result in a better meal. We perceived the cook's attitude as insolent and provocative. It's a shame to accept 20 people while claiming to be able to offer a vegan meal.

Pour un anniversaire nous avons réservé pour 20 personnes en demandant s'ils pouvaient proposer un repas végane, ce qu'ils ont assurer pouvoir faire. Notre pauvre fils s'est vu proposé juste 6 patates bouillies et quelques feuilles de salades. Une demande à la cuisine n'a pas permis d'obtenir un meilleur repas. Nous avons perçu l’attitude du cuisinier comme insolente et provocante. C'est une honte que d'accepter 20 personnes en prétendant pouvoir offrir un repas végane.Pour le reste, la roestiflette était bien grasse, il semble que c'tétait du réchauffé dans des cassolettes en terre cuite et que ce n'a pas mijoté au four. Ration par eilleurs insuffisante, qui a laissé les convives sur leur faim. Les croûtes aux champignons non plus ne cassaient rien.Mais le cuisinier s'en fout, ils ont servi 120 plats et ne peuvent pas faire mieux. Nous sommes furieux, et aucun de nous ne remettra les pieds dans cette minable buvette.

Deplorable reception. In a group of 20 people, one person with dietary restrictions requested a small adaptation of the meal which was refused. The answer was: We have enough people and we don't need you. ! This exclusion hurts!

Service liebenswürdig, kompetent und aufgestellt (die Arme kann ja nichts dafür). Atmosphäre des Hauses triste! Gegenüber einem speziellen, leicht zu erfüllenden Kundenwunsch, überhaupt kein Verständnis - ein blankes, kaltes NEIN. Auf Frage eines anderen Kunden gabs zur Antwort, wir brauchen Euch nicht, wir haben immer voll. Eine solch arrogante Reaktion ist mir schon lange nicht mehr begegnet und das Haus ist der Würde nicht wert, dass man es noch besucht.

Super friendly place because it is authentic. For those who love coffee Molendruz is a delight.

No credit card, cash only. No reservation for the terrasse officially but the waitress gave the priority to others while we were in line for 50 minutes in the queue. We left.

Magnificent view and delicious food. It's a shame that we are so crowded to eat in the room and that the owner is not very friendly under stress....

This is one of our favorite walks. Finishing with a bowl of soup and a delicious homemade pie is a real pleasure. It's a shame that the staff is overwhelmed by the number of customers who, due to not being served, leave without consuming anything!

The Mollendruz chalet is a very warm place to eat or have a drink. We went there by cross-country skiing from the Mollendruz pass to the chalet. Friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. I recommend going there for a visit.

Very typical place of our Switzerland. Ideal to access on snowshoes in winter. Very little, it remained a Swiss mountain pasture atmosphere. You can find baked Vacherin there. The soups are good and also served on the bob slopes as are the exceptional rAisinees pies

A nice place to discover and accessible to almost everyone

Quite nice, we go there every year. Stays very basic and you can quickly get claustrophobic on the middle tables. The resin tart is great.

Après un petit effort en raquettes nous sommes arrivés dans cette fermé transformée en buvette resto de novembre à mars. Accueil sympathique , carte avec des mets régionaux typiques. Tout est fait maison et la cuisine est dans la salle. Nous sommes arrivés pendant la préparation de la soupe du jour. Nous avons juste mangé une tranche de tarte qui fut délicieuse mais nous y retournerons pour manger une fondue. Endroit atypique fantastique

Magnificent view from this very friendly little chalet. We ate some fruit tarts and hot chocolate there. Very pleasant stopover before heading back to the cross-country ski trails.
