Top location, good value for money. Staff very good.

Beautiful place to stop and take in the sunshine in the mountains. Lovely staff helped our friend whom hurt his back. The chef was kind enough to let SOS use thier snowmobile to transport them to the lift. Food was not a great experience for me. I did enjoy the herbal fries however my sandwich was not nice which was a pity cause it's a lovely restaurant. I would go again but not order the sandwich had.

Used to serve much tastier food. Right now portions are smaller too. It was my favourite on slope place to eat lunch in st Moritz, not anymore.

Great terrace in the middle of the ski area. Rather fine dining and a good wine selection. Sensational cream slices. It was a pleasure. Reservations recommended

All these hangry reviewers here have probably paid a little too much for their five-star hotel and are then taking their frustration out on the staff up here. Catastrophic food envy fight at the entrance with a Little Man (also in feminine) at the other, everyone thinks they are the only one who has reserved. Once you're at your seat, the fun begins: the food is great, the service in the broadest Bernese language is absolutely on par and the atmosphere couldn't be much better. English Version: Stay at home when it's convenient.

Super good view and cozy atmosphere. I recommend eating outside if possible. It's not so comfortable inside. Food is good but could have more options. The Katsu sandwich was amazing. Service is a little slow and not that attentive (but it depends on who is serving you).

Super nice staff, very tasty food and extremely fast. You walk in, not even 10 minutes later you have your food on the table. Also not expensive for the area. Would 100% recommend

Brilliant place to enjoy the sun and mountains. Good food but very expensive. But you could save yourself that rooster of an usher. Runs around, holds guests back unnecessarily and likes to play boss too much. I thought I wouldn't see him again this year, but performance doesn't seem to count here.

Amazing restaurant atmosphere, super friendly staff and cool terrace when it’s sunny. Breathtaking views of st Moritz. Food is extremely good and fresh and quite fast service as well. A good selection of typical mountain dishes with other vegetarian ones. Overall a great experience! Will be back.

By far the best mountain restaurant in St. Moritz. Beautiful view over the Engadin, I would almost say one of the best views in the valley. Run by young locals and it shows. An excellent and courteous service with well-positioned, motivated employees. A hearty and tasty kitchen with fantastic dishes and you don't just get the boring Rösti that you usually get in every mountain restaurant. Very good wine list. Overall, definitely worth a pit stop on the slopes, even just for a drink in a breathtaking mountain backdrop.

The new menu is disappointing and nothing special for the Chamanna. I miss the old classic menu and the old offer. Much more typical, better and more customized...Will come here just for the view. The new management will definitely lose the old customers.

Excellent location, on the slopes and sunny. Large terrace. Menu not really to my liking but tastes are subjective as we know. Prices quite high. Professional staff, not particularly courteous. Looking at it it seems perfect but in my opinion it lacks a bit in substance.

Used to be my favorite cabin, but under the new owner or concept, it's just become a rip-off! You pay 30 francs for a bowl of warmed croissants with minced meat of below average quality. Unfortunately, the classics like raclette, Engadin bratwurst or fondue are no longer available and the menu consists of strange dishes that are extra expensive and at the same time particularly easy to prepare!

Average...nothing more. Service seems disorganized, listless and inattentive. Since we looked at the reviews in advance, we can't say anything about the food as we prefer to eat somewhere else. The Aperol Spritz was good though. Unfortunately we cannot share the motto Above Paradise 😉

New operator and new menu for about 2 years, chef has experience from Asia, refreshing new menu with top dishes, the classic raclette has disappeared, but that doesn't matter, absolutely recommended

One of the boldest shelters I've ever seen on the slopes. If you want to try something new with an international menu, go there. It would compete with the coolest places in Milan (maybe not for the price🤣). Well done

I've known the restaurant for a few years and found the old menu much better. The different types of Rösti fit a ski area much better than what is currently on offer. The ambience is nice and the service is okay, but the food is overpriced and of poor quality. The prices for drinks are a rip off. 18 CHF for 1 liter of unsweetened tea with hardly any taste is simply too expensive.

If you don't want to eat "Alpine macaroons" or rösti as standard in the ski hut, this is the right place for you: great selection for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Were there two days in a row and were able to try different dishes, everything was extremely tasty (be sure to try the fries!). The staff is mostly very friendly and tries to keep calm even when the hut is full and the guests are sometimes impatient. One point is deducted for the steep prices (welcome to St. Moritz) and the fact that you can no longer order hot drinks at 3:50 p.m. (the hut closes at 4 p.m.). That was annoying because unfortunately it wasn't possible to warm up in the hut that weekend (apparently the heating had been turned off).

The place may be nice but waiting for service after the order makes you starving, poor service. Particular and different paper, is it worth it? If you like to drink it could be fine so you can lighten up the wait. Should we go back? I don't dislike it

On top of St. Moritz Mountains, modern cuisine and country ambience. Not a party spot, but mainstream music animating whole clients during the afternoon. Best staff in St. Moritz

The best restaurant on the slopes!! New youth management with experience. More varied and imaginative menu, original dishes, with fresh ingredients and homemade preparations. I loved that there were vegan options, delicious and filling! Both times we arrived at 12.00, with reservations, and were served very quickly. I'll be back for sure, well done, keep up the good work!

Bad service, long wait for a seat. In the end we just left because no one came even though they saw us standing there. In addition, several empty tables.

4 years later……. Back to Chamanna. No more raclette ( I really miss the raclette man who pursued his work in silence and professional). New management (I miss you Vanessa). Slow service and when penne instead of spaghetti was served evil looks when questioned. I shared the lentils dish with my 10 Year old son and when I asked (twice) to get a bowl and spoon we got totally ignored. So unfortunately I have to say it’s not as charming as it was.

Absolutely overpriced. 20 CHF for a tiny portion of pasta with tomato sauce! The conditions mess everything up (may be due to stress). The drinks are filled with water and taste terrible!

We were there for the last time a few years ago and actually had quite fond memories of the hut. We sat outside - without a reservation - and ate pasta and soups. The quality is good, but the food got cold very quickly outside, I think the dishes weren't warmed up. The selection of food was quite limited, there wasn't much that we liked. Paying took a long time and the line of people waiting got longer. Apparently there were many regular guests who were warmly welcomed, mostly as larger groups and with reservations.

New tenants, new incredibly great menu with lots of really delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes and a dessert buffet from heaven. Service and general atmosphere are great!

Hut is under new management. The staff is very friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the map is a bit small and less attractive than before. What is absolutely missing are the legendary Chamanna Rösti, these could certainly be integrated into the new concept without any problem. Make Rösti great again!

Amazing view, great waiters, charcuterie board bountiful and tasty. Make sure to make a reservation and you will cherish the memories.

Instead of a Skiwasser we received a hot raspberry sirup, however the service was ok and brought us some lime. Food is a one star. I never had such a dry humus and the vegetables are frozen and not tasty. Sad to see this change, was my favorite place before. Definitely not recommend

Friendly service, but rather inattentive and long waiting times. Concept/menu changed in 2021 due to new owners. Unfortunately, the legendary Chamanna Rösti is no longer available. The food was nothing special, price/performance naja, but there was still a little supply.

Food is tasty, but service during high season unfortunately very long. Today, 20.12.2021, we had to wait 60 minutes for simple lunch food.

Under new management! As of this season, 2021/2022, the team from La Baracca takes over. No longer a dull hut, but the place to be! No your experience is very friendly, full service skiing hut with a young and dynamic team. Above paradise! The inside has been completely redone. Great work!

Don't eat deer sausage made according to grandma's recipe! I got food poisoning and threw up everything. Experience to forget!

Nice pub with a beautiful view. When it comes to hot chocolate, you have to mention that it's for children, otherwise you might get it with an insert... Such a local surprise ;)

Good planning with compliance with Covid 19 templates. The food is also very good.

Bad food and bad service. We paid 18chf for two burgers and they where quite bad and on top of that cold. If that was not bad enough they basically threw the extra mayonnaise we asked for in our faces. What you expect from Swiss service.

Mega friendly holiday accommodation. Nice rooms and very friendly staff who also have time for a chat. Ski service is also in the house.

Great restaurant in the Corviglia ski area above St. Moritz. The offer (take-away) is comprehensive, the prices are very moderate and the Covid-19 protection concept in the outdoor area is perfectly organized. Enjoying a warm drink outside in the sunshine is simply divine. Definitely visit!!!

After a bit of a wait, the service was very nice. The food came quickly. Unfortunately the salad with marinated goat cheese was nothing special. The Roesti looked better.

Nice view and good food. Unfortunately, the staff was a bit stressed and overwhelmed by the number of people (even though the big rush was already over at 2:15 p.m.). We had actually reserved a table on the terrace, but only got a table inside (it was the most beautiful weather). We just waited a bit and grabbed an outside table on our own. But the staff didn't help.

You can eat well in many places in the ski area. But especially good in the Chamanna! The hospitality shown by Vanessa and her team is unique, so you will always be happy to come to the hut.

It's a fantastic hut... a beautiful outdoor terrace with a magnificent view... inside it is very welcoming and characteristic. The staff is kind and professional! The food is typical and excellent after a good skiing.

Refreshment hut in the ski area. Good selection of food and drinks. COZY. You shouldn't stop in exactly at lunchtime. Like everything in Switzerland, the price is very high.

It is one of those mountain restaurants with great views. They are particularly crowded during high skiing season and it is always an issue to find a place. If the weather is sunny particularly difficult. The food is tasty. As in pretty much every Swiss restaurant the service could be a bit friendlier.

The mountain hut is an absolute dream. We have been going on vacation to St. Moritz for several years now and a stop at Chamanna is definitely a must. Fast service at (mostly) good prices. We especially recommend the ski water, it is really a pleasure!

One of our regular places when we go skiing in St. Moritz. Despite the always overcrowded terrace, the service is always friendly. The selection of food is great - from salad plates, Graubünden barley or goulash soup to racelette, hash browns and burgers. Prices are reasonable in comparison - the view is priceless, especially when the weather is nice. Again any time!

Of all the mountain restaurants I know of in this ski area, this is the best quality food.

Cozy location, friendly, relaxed service even at peak times. Price/performance was okay, but the burger could be spiced up a bit. I'm happy to pay a little more for higher quality meat.

The food was actually good, but we were given ancient bread. I definitely expect fresh bread in this price range. I thought it was outrageous to even offer something like that to the guests. Luckily no one broke a tooth.

Stopping for coffee the service is very good. The views are spectacular. At lunch even with reservation for inside our wait for service was extremely long and the restaurant was overcrowded so we were basically sitting on top of the people next to us. The food was good but it is hard to balance with the wait.

Hamburg was super dry, apricot cake had more dough than fruit. Service and view great. If the food had been better, there would be more stars.

The Chamanna Hut really has an optimal location. You can have a coffee up there in the evening, enjoy the wonderful view of the mountains and then at the very end you can drive down into the valley to St. Moritz-Bad or to the valley station of the Signalbahn.

Great restaurant, but must be reserved in advance as it is very busy at lunchtime.
